Folks, friends, y’all…. esk*mo is a slur. I understand a lot of people don’t know that, I don’t want to be a dick about it, but I’ve been seeing it in fics. Wanna write “esk*mo kisses”? Just say “nuzzled noses” or something.

I’m not here to call anybody out, it’s been in multiple fics, I’m not vague posting. This is just a psa. 👍🏻

For the most part, I like the psychology of religion. The idea that a human brain can create an image of its own creator and believe in such power that cannot be fathomed, only felt in faith.

The vast knowledge through science and technology and yet there are some people who haven’t changed from the mindset of a stone or book or temple since the Stone Age and before then.

I used to be religious as a kid (a church hopper, they say), and yet I had no idea how to perceive my god. Was he a physical entity I couldn’t see or was it an energy that I can feel and only follow the rules of? I was so confused as a kid as to why certain rules existed, how some things in these stones, books and temples contradicted themselves. It wasn’t til I was around 16 or 17 that I finally learned that I wasn’t questioning any religions or gods, I was questioning the people that followed rules that should’ve changed forever ago.

Its odd being an atheist with a deep appreciation for theology. It seems to weird people out sometimes. I get religious people who assume I'm some kinda "All religions are dumb and stupid" type, and atheists who assume I belong to whatever religion I'm talking about at the moment.

I genuinely do just like this stuff.
