wait hang on. having some realizations here.

a thing about the Missionary and the Firebrand is that (I'm realizing now) you can see how they ended up together. like, literally. you can see it in their storylines.

if you decide to seduce the Firebrand, you do it by first appearing as a Mysterious Alluring Stranger and then getting him to feel protective about you, which is ALSO kind of how the Missionary presents herself to you. this charming, mysterious, poor woman so distressed by her missing husband. and you can be there for her. you can be the steadfast presence she needs. you can write her letters and take her on dates (the Firebrand writes you letters and takes you on dates).

just. something REALLY fun to me about how the way you potentially get them to fall in love with you might also be the exact way they fell in love with each other
