Initially, Tracer was training to become jedi knight. But after she failed in protecting Mondatta (maybe he was even her teacher??) she leaves Jedi Order to become X wing pilot and never touches lightsaber again.

Until there’s a moment when she has to protect someone (my vote is for Winston) and force is only available weapon.  

Maybe then she joins just recently rebuilded Overwatch and starts training again with Zenyatta (or even Genji??) as her teacher

I’m open to suggestions, this Au is not finished yet :>
