yeah, this is my pet knight, she's a rescue. i gave her a brief act of mercy and she followed me home and sat outside my door to guard me from intruders. she swore her undying allegiance to me in exchange for a gift of grace and now she sleeps at the foot of my bed and weeps when im late coming home. and yeah, she only eats wet food because she's a snob, also.

i love characters who do the “i worship the myth i make of you” and in turn dehumanize and get wrong the object of their devotion and love. yes project a thing that does not exist onto a pedestal and kneel at it like it is your altar. this will surely not blow up in both of your faces eventually

The third and final leaf vest in my video, and my favourite of the 3, is this dark brown late autumn leaf. It's quilted, but much less densely than the previous one, and I pieced it together out of 2 slightly different shades of brown cotton.

The veins are embroidered in whipped chain stitch (for the denser areas I whipped all the rows together 2 at a time) and there are some patches of blanket stitch honeycomb to imitate venules. I wanted the leaf to look a little bit rotten. The beads along part of the bottom edge are inspired by a beautiful photo of slime mould growing along the edge of a leaf posted by Bea Leiderman on instagram.

"Came back wrong" but they actually came back exactly the same, it's you who changed, so even though they're here again it still doesn't feel like it used to. You can raise the dead but you can't change that they died and time passed without them

in my humble opinion

words are powerful. we wouldn’t be breaking in, we’d be entering without permission, there is a very important difference there

we’d only be breaking in if we actually damaged the property but ideally we wouldn’t! i could get us the keys easy :)
