as someone who loved Taylor swift as a teen it makes me so sad that every new album just gets worse. like I like to listen and see if I can relive my youth every time she releases something and then get let down.

this is genuinely one of the worst things I’ve ever listened to in my life. like I could see the appeal of some sections of like folklore or evermore and they at least felt like cohesive albums even if they were very shallow, masquerading as something deeper that’s not really there, sort of like baby’s first singer-songwriter, acoustic anthems with all the teeth ripped out, coffee shop music but this just like…..how is this appealing to anyone. it’s like all of her worst traits as a songwriter compiled together.
