Eat shit, TERF
Hi do you have any sources of lists of women with miscarriages who were arrested/tried for the miscarriages.
I have these articles on the subject -
ā€œNo Pardon - Young Woman To Serve 30 Years For Miscarriageā€
ā€œDC Judge Forces Woman To Have Cesarean & She Dies - 5 Shocking Injustices Against Pregnant Womenā€
ā€œSeeking Justice for 17 Salvadoran Women Imprisoned for Miscarriage and Stillbirthā€
ā€œTerrifying Precedent: Woman to Be Tried for Murder for Giving Birth to Stillborn When She Was 16ā€³
ā€œOutcry in America as pregnant women who lose babies face murder chargesā€
ā€œNew Study Shows Anti-Choice Policies Leading to Widespread Arrests of and Forced Interventions on Pregnant Womenā€
, which includes a study that details:
ā€¢A woman in Utah gave birth to twins. When one was stillborn, she was arrested and charged with criminal homicide based on the claim that her decision to delay cesarean surgery was the cause of the stillbirth.
ā€¢After a hearing that lasted less than a day, a court issued an order requiring a critically-ill pregnant woman in Washington, D.C. to undergo cesarean surgery over her objections. Neither she nor her baby survived.
ā€¢A judge in Ohio kept a woman imprisoned to prevent her from having an abortion.
ā€¢A woman in Oregon who did not comply with a doctorā€™s recommendation to have additional testing for gestational diabetes was subjected to involuntary civil commitment. During her detention, the additional testing was never performed.
ā€¢A Louisiana woman was charged with murder and spent approximately a year in jail before her counsel was able to show that what was deemed a murder of a fetus or newborn was actually a miscarriage that resulted from medication given to her by a health care provider.
ā€¢In Texas, a pregnant woman who sometimes smoked marijuana to ease nausea and boost her appetite gave birth to healthy twins. She was arrested for delivery of a controlled substance to a minor.
ā€¢A doctor in Wisconsin had concerns about a womanā€™s plans to have her birth attended by a midwife. As a result, a civil court order of protective custody for the womanā€™s fetus was obtained. The order authorized the sheriffā€™s department to take the woman into custody, transport her to a hospital, and subject her to involuntary testing and medical treatment.
this is terrifying but unsurprising when you try to give fetuses rights over the pregnant person.

Thereā€™s a difference between ā€œyou like a different flavor of ice cream than me therefore you suck BLOCKEDā€ and the example above where the group of ppl Iā€™m talking about would LITERALLY RATHER PPL LIKE ME NOT EXIST like holy shit my dude lmfao
Are u really that pressed that ppl shouldnā€™t waste their time arguing w bigots that would rather see me dead and how Iā€™m talking abt how itā€™s exhausting when ppl take my existence as some fun debate to have
Life is short, block whoever tf u want, donā€™t argue w ppl who would rather see u dead lol, moooooove on
Hey if youā€™re cis stop arguing with TERFs.
Itā€™s one thing to provide resources or info to your followers to correct misinformation, or to signal to your followers that someone is a TERF to block, then block them. but itā€™s another thing to continually seek out confrontations with bigots because:
theyā€™ve made up their minds already and no repeating of facts will change that, and
They will use the argument to twist your words and take it out/blame it on trans people. Especially trans women.
Seriously, donā€™t give bigots a platform. Laugh at them, correct their shitty science for the sake of your followers if youā€™d like, then block them. Ostracization is the most effective way of handling bigots while also avoiding putting targets on marginalized peoplesā€™ backs because of it.
Iā€™m not saying that I donā€™t appreciate cis peopleā€™s support in fighting against transphobia. Itā€™s just exhausting to see cis people pick fights with terfs, then leave on their merry ways while the terfs take it out on trans people later. Just block and move on.

Hello and goodbye, kinda
Hi friends
If you havenā€™t noticed lately this blog has been mostly inactive for the past few months and it will probably stay that way for the foreseeable future.
Itā€™s just not worth the time and energy to run anymore and the negatives of debating and dumping my emotional labor into this far outweigh the positives.
Not to say that it hasnā€™t been great, I always really loved and appreciated you all for your support. Iā€™ve learned a lot from people here and Iā€™m glad to have been able to help and educate people. But Iā€™m tired and in a bad rut in my life and until I can stabilize Iā€™m not in a place to try to start doing that again.
Feel free to follow me on my main blog @aureliathewarleader. I still blog to blow off steam there and a lot of it is still SJ-related.
Iā€™m keeping this blog up so people can keep using my resources if they need it. Maybe Iā€™ll be back eventually.
Peace,
Kay

Just for future reference, when you call out a nazi amongst anti choicers, rather than condemn the nazi, they will attack you. The proof is all over my blog today. Not a single one of them has said anything directly or indirectly about the nazi. But every damned one of them has attacked or supported attacks on my personally.
Does it bother me? Not really. But it says a lot about them and their movement.

WHAT TO DO AT AN ICE CHECKPOINT, ESPECIALLY IF YOUā€™RE A WHITE CITIZEN
(please, please, please copy, paste, and share widely):
-Border Patrol can verify citizenship within 100 miles of a border or ā€œexternal boundary.ā€ This includes coastlines so NYC is within the 100-mile zone.
-Border patrol can only ask brief questions about citizenship, and they cannot hold you for an extended time without cause.
-You always have the right to remain silent. You do not need to answer their questions.
-***WITH THAT SAID, IF YOU ARE A BORN CITIZEN OF THE UNITED STATES AND ESPECIALLY IF YOU ARE WHITE, YOU NEED TO SPEAK THE FUCK UP.***
-The most important acts of resistance are the small ones. Make it difficult and uncomfortable for ICE agents to do their jobs. They are counting on citizens to turn a blind eye and allow them to deport undocumented citizens without challenge. Disabuse of that notion.
-If you are on a train, bus, or anything else and ICE or CBP boards, you need to stand up and loudly let everyone know that they have the right to remain silent or only answer questions in the presence of an attorney, no matter their citizenship or immigration status. There have been numerous reports that confronting the agents in this way has caused them to leave without verifying citizenship. THIS CAN SAVE LIVES.
-If you see anyone being held up by immigration, loudly ask if they are being detained and if they are free to go.
-Immigration officers cannot detain anyone without reasonable suspicion, an agent must have specific facts about you that make it reasonable to believe you are committing or committed, a violation of immigration law or federal law.
If an agent detains you, you can ask for their basis for reasonable suspicion, and they should tell you.
-Always say no to a search and let everyone know that they can and should refuse consent to a search.
-They cannot search or arrest anyone without facts about that make it probable that they are committing, or committed, a violation of immigration law or federal law.
-Silence alone meets neither of these standards. Nor does race or ethnicity alone suffice for either probable cause or reasonable suspicion
-As white citizens, we have a level of privilege which protects us from retaliation from ICE for being ā€œrudeā€ and making a scene, which makes it our DUTY to speak up and make sure people without the same privilege know their rights. GET LOUD. YELL. YELL IN SPANISH IF YOU KNOW IT. LET PEOPLE KNOW THEY DONā€™T HAVE TO SAY SHIT. MAKE ICE UNCOMFORTABLE. THROW SAND IN THE GEARS OF WHITE SUPREMACY.
BONUS INFO:
-It is perfectly legal to record immigration agents as long as you are not on government property or at a port of entry. If your train/bus gets board, pull your phone out and start videotaping immediately.
-If you are detained or see someone getting detained, get the agentā€™s name, number, and any other identifying information. Get it on tape.
-Contact the ACLU if you see someoneā€™s rights being violated.

A Michigan judge ruledĀ last week that children do not have a fundamental right to learn how to read and write. The ruling came in response to aĀ lawsuit filed by Public Counsel, the nationā€™s largest public interest law firm, on behalf of Detroit students that sought to hold state authorities, including Gov. Rick Snyder Ā®, accountable for what plaintiffs alleged were systemic failures depriving children of their right to literacy,Ā according to the Detroit Free Press. 7/2/2018

Roe v. Wade ā€” the landmark Supreme Court case establishing access to abortion as a constitutional right ā€” has been settled law for over 40 years, yet remains under constant attack. With President Donald Trump in office, we face potentially the greatest threat to reproductive rights in more than a generation. The Center for Reproductive Rights updated our 2007 report, What If Roe Fell?, in order to answer the question on everyoneā€™s mind on the 45th anniversary of Roe: what will happen if Roe were toppled in your state, the day after?
