INFO: You and Theo argue a lot but you can never stay mad at him, and he can never stay mad at you.

You and Theo argue a lot, but you can never stay mad at him and he can never stay mad at you. The current argument the two of you were engaging in was because you thought Theo went out with his friends or played video games too much.

“It’s not the end of the world y/n! Get over it. My god” Theo stood infront of you speaking in a harsh tone, he folded his arms and rolled his eyes clearly not about to take any interest in your side of the argument. “Yes Theo, it is the end of the world because you never have time for me anymore!” you yelled back, he looked deep in your eyes arms still crossed.

“You’re being so dramatic. We see each other everyday! Just because i’m going out with my friends tonight doesn’t mean we’re breaking up” he groans looking at you for a split second before shaking his head and turning around to leave his dorm room. “Theo. Don’t walk away from me.” you said in a serious tone, the tension in the room could slice through ice.

He frantically turned around to face you once again, “Y/n, i can’t believe you’re being this clingy right now. Look, just give me some space” he mutters as he once again goes to turn around haltering as he hears your voice. “Are you kidding me, i’m the clingy one? you get all pissy whenever i say i’m going out with my friends so why should it be any different for you” you say with anger in your tone, you knew he was a hypocrite but you didn’t dare say anything not tempting the situation to get any worse.

He chuckled, obviously not taking your comment very seriously “The difference is, you’re out with your friend every night, y/n! Look, i’ll make it up to you later on but i’m not cancelling just because you’re needy”. That really riled you, how dare he accuse you of being out with your friends every night when you haven’t even been out in a week.

“I’m not needy, we planned this movie night ages ago! and now you’re bailing on me, i can’t believe you” you rolled your eyes and turned on your heels starting to walk away, you thought to yourself if he was going to cancel on you, you were going to give him a hard time about it “you know what, stay out as long as you want”.

This was one of the more tame fights you and Theo had, usually they ended in things being thrown across your dorm and shouting loud enough to be heard in the great hall. “okay, fine. Have fun watching a stupid ‘girly’ film on your own” and with that he left the room brushing past you and closing the door behind him.

And with that he left you all alone in your dorm room, with nothing to do but watch a ‘stupid girly film’ to occupy your mind. This was usually what happened when you and Theo had an argument, he’d leave and you’d be stuck all on your own for the next 3 hours. You slowly waltzed over to your bed, climbing in between the sheets grabbing the tv remote control and putting on something random.

Hours pass, this was longer than he usually goes out for and you couldn’t help but worry. With the news on the television still lying down in bed, you hear your phone buzz from across the room. It was on charge and you knew it was probably Theo. Whenever you argue, he goes out smoking with Mattheo, Blaise and Draco before texting you saying sorry.

You reluctantly pushed back your duvet and walked over to your desk, picking up your phone you see a notification that reads [baby, i’m sorry for being a dick earlier. Wanna make up ;)]. You couldn’t believe him, not talking to you for nearly 5 hours and now he suddenly wants to make up. You weren’t having it, you took your phone off the charger throwing it down on the desk and walking back over to your bed, climbing in and pulling up the duvet before replying. [no] was all you said back to him, trying to act cold and make him feel bad for the way he reacted to you earlier on.

After at least 5 minutes of him begging you to forgive him, it’s clear he wasn’t taking no for an answer. You were messaging him back and forth trying to tell him you weren’t going to give it up so easily, he left your most recent text on read just riled you even more. Placing your phone down on your bedside cabinet you rolled over, just drifting off to sleep you hear a loud bang on your dorm door. “Who is it?” you shouted hoping it was Theo but also hoping it wasn’t. You waited 10 seconds, no reply. 20 seconds, still no reply. Giving up with asking who it was you just shouted for them to come in.

As the door opens, Theodore is stood there holding a bouquet of flowers and chocolate, his puppy eyes on full display. “Please don’t stay angry at me principessa, it’s killing me knowing that you’re disappointed with me” he states still standing at the door, he always sounds so genuine when he apologises in person. You couldn’t help but give in to him with the gifts he showered you with. “I still hate you y’know” you spoke in a low joking tone, smiling you patted the spot next to you on the bed and he walked over, set down the flowers and chocolate and sat down next to you.

You stand up grasping your phone, walking back over to your desk where you had previously discarded your charger, setting your phone down plugging it in. “So, i uh, have something planned if you wanna come back to bed” he spoke with a clear smirk plastered on his face, you walked back over to the bed intruded in what he had planned.

Sitting down beside him you questioned what he was talking about, not saying anything he waltzed over to the wardrobe opening the doors, venturing into one of the many drawers inside he pulled out a piece of fabric. Confused as to what he had in his hands you just ignored it and watched as he strolled back over to the bed situating himself next to you again.

He sensed your baffled expression “it’s a blindfold tesoro” he stated so calmly, as if everyone just had a blindfold hidden away in their girlfriends room “i hid it here in hope of using it one day” he chuckles and inches closer.

You didn’t know what to do or say about this new found side to Theo. You and him had never used anything out of the ordinary before so this was shock to the both of you. “Just put this on for me amore”. Unsure, you agreed and took the blindfold from Theo’s hands wrapping it around the back of your head and tying it tight.

After you place the blindfold on, you hear Theo slowly shifting on the bed inching closer and closer to you until he was nearly flush against you. After a minute you feel him soft fingers running up and down your back, he wraps his arms around you pulling you into his lap. You feel his hands snake their way into your hair pulling you in for for a passionate kiss. This new sensation of not being able to see only feel had sparked something inside you. Excitement and arousal.

“What are you doing Theo?” you questioned growing more and more wet by the second. One leg either side of him you could feel his erection growing beneath you. Slightly lifting your skirt from in his way Theo pauses, confused as to why he does this before he speaks “beg for it”. What? Theo had never asked you to beg before, never, not because you didn’t want to but because you didn’t know how. Theo could see the puzzled look on you face “tell me what you want baby, what do you want me to do to you?” there it was again, that patronising voice he always used with you.

How did he expect you to beg, and for what exactly. You thought to yourself that you might as well give it your best go, after all your body was begging him to touch you so why not verbalise it. “Theo, please touch me” you muttered not believing that he was asking you to do this right now. When you and Theo had sex it was usually very vanilla, surprisingly, so him pulling this one was a definitely a surprise.

“Hm… you’re gonna have to do a lot better than that my love” he said voice deep laced with lust, you could tell he was itching to touch you too. “Theo please. I need you, please” you had never been more desperate for him to touch you in your life, by the smirk that appeared on his face it was obvious he was pleased with your words, even though you couldn’t see him.

His hand traveled higher until he reached your heat, pushing your panties to the side he traced a finger along your slit all the way up to your clit. You walk into your dorm that you and your boyfriend Theo share, and you see him playing a game on his pc. His face was scrunched up almost as if he drank some out of date milk, slouching in the chair mumbling to himself about something random. You had gone to Pansy’s dorm for a girls night the night before and hadn’t told him about it.

Honestly, you thought he wouldn’t give a shit about it as you haven’t seen Pansy in just over 3 weeks. You walk over to the bed and place down your bag, and he didn’t even say a word to you making it clear something up. He hadn’t even looked at you.

You decided maybe he was just focused on the game “what’s the matter with you” you said with a smile on your face slightly laughing whilst sitting on the edge of the double bed. He doesn’t answer you, you can’t make out the words he’s saying whilst playing his game. He still hasn’t even looked at you, you’ve clearly done something to irritate him, as per usual.

“What have i exactly done Theo, you can’t expect this to work if you don’t communicate with me” getting slightly irritated yourself to the fact he’s just going to give you the silent treatment instead of talking to you and trying to resolve things. He eventually sighs and turns his computer off spinning the chair around to face you. He finally speaks “what were you doing last night?”.

“I was with Pansy why?” you reply confused as to why he was asking, you had told him about this at least a week ago. He stands up walking over to look you directly on the eyes, there’s a look of anger on his face as he speaks “why weren’t you spending that time with me hmm?” with an arrogant, harsh tone.

Surprised at the fact he was angry with you because you had spent the day with Pansy and slept over in her dorm “because Pansy asked me to have a girls day with her”. His nose scrunches up in anger as he paces the floor of the room never breaking eye contact with you “that doesn’t matter. i wanted to see you last night and i bet you didn’t think about me once”. The pure irritation was evident in his voice, he was pissed and you could tell.

“How do you know i wasn’t thinking about you?” with this statement he walked back over to you, standing in front of you once again this time more intimidating. You didn’t know how to act so you pushed yourself back on the bed to avoid his getting too close to you. “Do you expect me to believe that once you were with Pansy. I was still on your mind.” he speaks with an eye roll, combing his hands through his hair in frustration.

He glares at you with a scowl across his face “well you should’ve cancelled with her as soon as soon as you realised i didn’t know about your plans. i don’t think it was right that you were spending time with her while i was worried about where you’d gone” with this statement you were starting to think you could’ve actually worried him and he was upset that anything could’ve happened and he wouldn’t have known, although you did tell him ages ago you made this plan. “Why does it matter to you anyways i told you ages ago i was doing this with Pansy last night” he didn’t like that.

He lets out a low grumbling sound as he rolls his eyes dramatically “you never told me you were going out with Pansy last night, so how on earth would i have expected you to be with her” when you told him exactly 1 week and 2 days ago that you made this plan. “You know what Theo, you’re acting really controlling right now so i’m going to go and give you time to calm down so we can talk later” you say calmly trying to be the bigger person in the situation.

Theo looks like he’s about to completely blow a gasket at what you’re saying. His fists clench and unclench, he’s clearly losing his cool “i am not co trolling anything here! If you really cared about this relationship then you’d spend time with me and not your friends!”. That was the bottom line for you as you couldn’t comprehend that he just suggested you don’t see your friends and spend that time with him instead.

“i do care about this relationship! But right now you’re acting like a child, i don’t have to be with you every second of every day. If you’re going to act like this and control what i do with my free time then i think it’s best we stop seeing each other” you stated not wanting to break up with Theo but knowing if he kept acting like this you’d have to do it for you’re own good.

Theo’s anger was reaching its boiling point “you can’t be serious! Don’t you dare break up with me because of something like this. You’d honestly drop our relationship to continue seeing your friends?”. Was he being serious, would you drop your friends to be with him. He must be delusional because no flipping was were you doing that.

You decided to stick up for yourself, soon regretting that “no it’s not to continue seeing them, its the fact that you’re acting like a 7 year old all because i did something for myself for a night” you get up standing by the door threatening to leave as Theo approaches behind you sparking you to turn to face him.

He slams his hand firmly against the wall causing a loud bang “you don’t get it do you! I wanted to spend time with you. I wanted to see you. Not your friend. You have no concept of just how much you have hurt me right now, i cannot believe this.” he was manipulating you into agreeing with him, of course you couldn’t see this though. “I’m with you every day!” you shout back standing your ground despite the fact you’re shaking, yes Theo’s gotten angry before but he’s never been this bad.

Theo finally loses his cool and shouts back “I wanted to be with you last night! How many more ways do you want me to say that, what on earth is so hard to understand about that!”. Still standing against the door your fists were digging into your palms, while sweating you replied to him “well i wasn’t with you last night! end of!”.

Let’s just say he did not like that one bit, Theo’s tone gets more aggressive and louder taking one step closer to you “Why?! You knew i’d be expecting you back and you went out with Pansy anyways!”. This was getting out of hand, he was shouting you were shouting and you were sure he was going to do something more extreme soon.

He was being unreasonable, saying you couldn’t be with your friends? That’s not how a relationship works. “Because she asked me to, i don’t have to be with you all the time Theo” voice cracking and eyes brimming with tears.

“When will you understand you’re putting your damn friends above your own fucking boyfriend!” shouting loud enough the other students in the hufflepuff common room definitely heard him. “When will you understand this is the first time i’ve seen her in 3 weeks because i’m always with you!” you yelled in a shocked tone, yet still frustrated he’s acting like this.

You turn the doorknob with your hand and walked out of the room, Theo following you. Theo grabs your arm spinning you around to meet his eyes “don’t you dare walk away from me! You will listen right now. Me. I’m more important than Pansy fucking Parkinson”. This is what you were dreading, the time that things finally got physical. “Let go of me Theo or i swear to god” tears fully rolling down your face now as you shouted at him to let go of you.

His grip tightens around your forearm. “No i won’t let go. You’re not doing this. I’m not losing you to your friends y/n!” shouting in the corridor, causing a scene as per usual. “You’re not losing me, I need time to myself. I never get it because i’m always with you. Maybe we should uh… maybe we should go on a break” saying the last bit in a slightly lower tone hoping he still heard you.

“Don’t you dare say that. We are not breaking up. We are not going on a break. There is no way i’m letting anything come between us!” yelling at you still but saying things to try and get you to go along with him. “Well you’re the one causing the problems Theo!!” shouting louder this time realising he has been the root of all the problems in your relationship.

You try to walk away from his grip but he pulls you back toward his with a force you never knew he had “No. You are not going anywhere until you listen to everything that i have to say to you. You are not breaking up with me.” he sounded serious and drunk? It wouldn’t be a surprise if he was drunk and expected to start an argument and it end in sex. That’s what he usually does, and you give in…

“I can do what i want” you say lowly trying not to make him shout again but still hoping he heard you. He gains a more aggressive tone and speaks sharply “well you are damn well going to listen to me, or you can say bye bye to this relationship all together”. At this point you wanted to just go somewhere else, anywhere else. “Okay. Bye bye relationship” in a sarcastic tone still looking him deeply in the eyes. You were trying to intimidate him. It didn’t work, it only riled him up more.

“Oh? You can say goodbye to our one year relationship just like that?!” He yells at the top of his lungs, maybe even Dumbledore heard it. But you were done with fighting. You thought maybe if you just agree with him and act like you were in the wrong he’d leave it and you could go back to normal. “You will not break up with me” was the last thing he said before you decided your idea was the best thing to go with right now.

“okay” you spoke in a low tone, stood in the middle of the corridor, you couldn’t be arsed to deal with this anymore. You just wanted to go bed and sleep this awful day off. “You don’t just say ‘okay’ to something like that. This is serious” he was still angry but his tone had lowered slightly, not shouting as loud as he was before.

“Okay” this seemed the easiest way out, just agree. Theo still isn’t fully convinced you’ve fully understood him “you are not treating this with the seriousness it deserves, so say it. Say ‘i’m not going to break up with you’”. You replied with your usual response and he was not satisfied to say the least “Say one more thing other than ‘okay’. Say ‘i will not break up with you’” and instead of using the ‘okay’ card to get you out you had to what he wanted.

“I won’t break up with you” you mumbled as he took a step back glaring at you for a few seconds before deciding whether you were being genuine or not, his voice calmer now and his face less agitated “so you do actually care about this relationship?” he asked.

“Of course i do but-“ not finishing your sentence, not wanting to set Theo off again because quite frankly you could not deal with that. Theo nods but he still isn’t fully calmed down yet, you can tell by the way his fists are clenched tightly “but…?” he questions. “Nothing” you reply thinking the less words the less you can cause to go wrong, Theo grabs both of your shoulders shaking them lightly before speaking “say it. i know there’s something else on your mind”.

Slightly scared again you just managed to stutter out a question to Theo “can i please just see Pansy at least twice a week… please Theo” practically begging him to let you see your friend. He stares at you firmly and then finally breaks his glare “fine. You can see Pansy as much as you want. just make sure to give me just as much time as you give her”.

You mutter out a small ‘i promise’ before looking away from Theo and down at your shoes on the ground. Theo has finally fully calmed down now “good…” his demeanour completely changes. His tone softens as he smiles softly at you “can you please promise me you’ll communicate with me from now on?”.

“Yes i will” you say with tears in your eyes, Theo smiles softly at you his expressing changing from one of anger and frustration to one of care and love. “Thank you that really means a lot to me, i’m going out with the boys now” he says before kissing you on the forehead and walking down the corridor and out of the common room door.

Leaving you standing there, “no worries…” you say standing there, tears rolling down your face hands shaking and palms sweaty. Knowing he was in the wrong made you feel even worse, and now he was going out after completely slating you for doing it. You walked back into the dorm room, Theo never returned that night, he stayed out smoking and drinking with his friends and then crashed at Mattheo’s dorm.

You were in a toxic relationship. And you knew you could never escape it…
