The Devil Was Never a Myth
They told us the devil had horns, red skin, a pitchfork, and a tail — but that was just a distraction. The real devil didn't come from beneath the earth... he walked on top of it. With a Bible in one hand while stealing with the other.
The devil didn't need fire when he had manipulation. He didn't need to roar when he could lie with a smile. He rebranded himself as savior — while plagiarizing our texts, murdering our ancestors, and rewriting our stories.
He came into our lands uninvited... took our gold, our gods, our names, our languages - and gave us his religion in return. Told us to bow to his image, and see ourselves as cursed. Told us our darkness was evil, when in truth we are the origin of all life and light.
The devil was never underground.
He was colonizer.
He was slave master.
He was the one who turned our temples into churches and made us forget who we were.
It's time we stop worshipping our oppressors and start honoring our true selves.
Know the devil you've been taught to love, and the god you've been conditioned to fear.
