'Arthur Pendragon would be the best dad/uncle ever and you can't convince me otherwise' Headcanons;

He would be like Uther only in the way that he loves his kids, and he would be every thing Uther never was (whether you believe be was more decent as a parent when Arthur was little or not).

His daughter wants to learn how to sword fight? She WILL get to learn how to sword fight.

His son wants to learn how to sew or how to do magic or how to be a blacksmith? Then he will.

You took Dragonet (Merlin and Freya's son)'s cow? You will apologize to the sobbing three year old and return the cow immediately.

You want Arthur to be at a council meeting when it's supposed to be his day with one of his son/daughter(s)? Fine but his kid is gonna be there and you will have half of his attention.

You want to have an audience with Arthur when it's his day to babysit Dragonet or any of his other nieces/nephews? Fine but the kid will be sitting on his knee drawing or napping in Gwen's arms and you can't complain.

Question if his oldest child will inherit the throne because they're adopted? Hell will rein down upon you for you even SUGGESTING that his precious darling is lesser than their siblings.

Make Morgana's kid or any of the knights kids cry? Run for the hills because Arthur will NOT let you get away with it without an apology or good reason.

He's a good pet parent too: he loves his pets, even if they aren't 'pretty' or whatever.

Arthur would literally do everything in his power to be as involved as possible with his kids and his friends' kids, and he would be unapologetic about it.

He will teach his kids how to hunt and ride a horse, and sword fighting. Gwen will teach the ways of a black smith and how to not put up with anyone's shit.

He'd take turns reading to the kids with Gwen.

Arthur would love his kids and his friends' kids unconditionally.

'Guinevere 'Gwen' Pendragon would be an absolutely fantastic mother/aunt and you can't convince me otherwise' Headcanons:

Gwen would love her kids just as fiercely as her parents loved her and her brother.

Gwen would absolutely refuse to let her queenly duties interfere with the time she spent with her children/her friends children.

She'd teach her son/daughter(s) everything she knows.

She, like Arthur, would want to give them everything she (and Arthur) never had. They will be getting all the affection Arwen can give them.

She would make sure that her and Arthur's kids would be unapologetically themselves, and that they grew up with the ability to tell right from wrong.

Gwen would take the kids (hers and her friends') on picnics and make flower crowns with them, just to see them smile.

She'd love her kids all equally, adopted or not, and would do everything in her power to make sure they never questioned whether or not they were loved.

One of the kids definitely has Tom as a middle name. Another is named after Arthur's mother (with the middle name).

She'd treasure everything her kids gifted her.

She'd sooth their fears and encourage their hobbies, and would adore them to no end.

Gwen would love her kids and her friends' kids unconditionally.

Merlin would do magic tricks for the kids and teach them how to tend to wounds.

Gwaine would sneak the kids sweets.

Percival would use his strength to make the kids laugh in their games (throwing them up and catching, holding them upside down, piggy back rides, etc).

Good! Mordred would tell the best stories.

Good! Morgana would be snippy with anyone who even looked at the kids wrong and if anyone even said anything they WOULD be thrown out with her magic, no exceptions.

Good! Morgana would teach Arthur's daughter all the tricks in sword fighting she knew.

Elyan would give the best hugs and give all the best gifts.

Lancelot is that uncle who ain't see shit and ain't hear shit unless you really fucked up.

"What? Melora (Arwen daughter) disguised herself as the Knight of the Blue Surcoat to go save her prince? That's craaaazy and this is totally the first time I'm hearing this. Swearies."

"Stephanie (Freylin daughter) got in a fight with Morgar (Morgana and Forridel) and they hexed each other? That's crazy. Wonder how I didn't hear that."

And so on.

Leon would be that uncle getting the kids out of trouble constantly with a sigh, scolding them before dropping them at home.

Just all of them would love any of the others' kids, as well as their own, so much.

Parent Gwaine Headcanons;

His one night stands catch up to him and he finds himself with two kids.

He names them Gingalain Everard and Constance Cynthia (Everard after his godfather and Cynthia after his sister).

Both of his take after him greatly, both appearance wise and personality wise.

Both of his kids were left with a note addressed to him (he fainted the first time).

Accidentally causes his kids' first words to be swear words.

Arthur's dog got loose and knocked Gingalain's crib over, and the (almost one year old) shocked everyone by screaming 'FUCK'.

On an unrelated note (promise), Gwaine completely panicked the first time Gingalain got (mildly) hurt and Giaus had to kick him out of the room.

Gwaine also didn't let Arthur's dogs around Gingalain for a month after that incident.

Constance's first word was a quiet 'shit' (said after the pie was ruined in an attempted assassination against Arthur). Which was followed by a tantrum that led to the assassin having a very unpleasant evening. (Based loosely off of a scene from the encanto fic: https://archiveofourown.org/works/38177785/chapters/97311012#workskin ).

Gwaine would absolutely have a tea party with his daughter if she wanted one and would be unabashedly unapologetic about it if any of the other knights tried to make fun of him for it.

Gwaine's son gets in trouble with his tutor once and when asked why, he told Gwaine about how his tutor pointed a ruler at him and said 'on one end of this ruler is an idiot', only for him to ask which end. Gwaine has never been prouder (the tutor was fired).

Gwaine makes sure that his daughter absolutely knows how to pack a punch. Which throws a lot of people off because of how unassuming she is.

Is even more protective of his kids as he was of Merlin.

Both of his kids have been kidnapped once (it's unavoidable when in Arthur's close circle). Both times the kidnappers already regretted kidnapping the kids even BEFORE Arthur, Merlin, and the rest of their friends got their hands on them.

Gingalain purposely made things difficult for them by 1). Asking non-stop questions and 2). Repeatedly escaping and setting up booby traps.

Constance fake cried and then punched her kidnapper in the stomach when they tried to comfort her, running off immediately after.

Needless to say the kidnapping attempts drastically decreased after that.

Gwaine gifted a dark blue handled, silver caliburn to Gingalain (who prefers Everard) on his 13th birthday.

He also gifted Constance a dirk with a lavender handle on her 13th birthday (ignoring those who tisked and muttered how a lady shouldn't have weapons).

Gwaine also gifted his son a foal named Florence after his horse gave birth (with Arthur's permission, of course) and eventually does the same for his daughter when she's older.

Would absolutely cry at his daughter's wedding.

Taught his kids everything he knows. Including stealing from the kitchen (Audrey mostly just pretends to be mad when they do it these days).

Killian Jones: For OG/Storybrooke Killian I’m going Hufflepuff. He’s loyal and hard working. Not in a toiling sort of way, but in a perseverance, diligent, do whatever you have to do to accomplish the goal kind of way.

Liam Jones: Slytherin. Hear me out! I think Liam was very ambitious. He sought out a way for he and Killian to get out of servitude, took Hades deal, worked his way up the ranks, became a captain, and seemed to bask in the importance of being chosen by the king to go on this special mission. His hubris was his downfall, and I feel like that came from a root of ambition in order to achieve Glory for the Jones Brothers.

Liam II: We don’t know him as well, but I would put him in the Hufflepuff house with big bro Killian. He was loyal to Nemo and to the memory of his father. Clearly had a strong work ethic, given that he was Nemo’s first mate. Also, I think the Nautilus, with its mission to find and gather lost and broken souls, is a bit like Helga saying, I’ll take them all! to those students who were sort of the leftovers.

Emma Swan: Gryffindor. Period.

Jefferson: I think he’s a bit of a mad genius, so I’d sort him in Ravenclaw. He’s clever and knowledgeable, and I like the fact that all through season 1 he was the one left with the truth. He had all the facts of their circumstances and tried to use logic to get Emma to believe.

Who accidentally pushes a door instead of pulling/vice versa?;

Both. Jefferson because he's socially awkward and a bit antisocial and doesn't always pay close attention to exits when he's trying to get away from people. And Killian because he didn't know you could open a door wrong. You can imagine how embarrassed this makes their kids.

Who doodles little hearts all over the desk with their initials inside them?;

Killian though he'll never admit it. Both his brothers and his friends have teased him about it.

Who starts the tickle fights?;

Jefferson because he knows Killian's ticklish and needs to get him out of his sour moods in someway.

Who starts the pillow fights?;

Again, Jefferson. Though this time it's accidental. He throws pillows at Killian when he's annoyed and in the living room or the bed room. Killian always throws it right back and things escalate from there.

Who falls asleep last, watching the other with a small affectionate smile?;

Both. They both overthink everything and more often than not, one is still up while the other is out cold. It's usually Killian but occasionally, Jefferson is the one who is still awake.

Who mistakes salt for sugar?;

Killian. Jefferson always triple checks before using either because of his anxiety and paranoia.

Who lets the microwave play the loud beeping sound at 1am in the morning?;

Jefferson because he sometimes forgets that he doesn't live alone anymore. Killian doesn't really mind. Jefferson usually shares his food with him if the microwave wakes him.

Who comes up with cheesy pick up lines?;

Is this even a question? It's Killian. It's always Killian. He just can't help himself-- especially with how it makes Jefferson laughs.

Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order?;

Killian. It's a habit from the navy (and Liam and his mother) that Killian's never been able to shake. It's also one Jefferson likes, so it's become their thing that their kids and friends don't get.

Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies?;

Niether. It's not something either of them really like to do, so they just let their kids do it. They have a system for it so everyone doesn't miss their turn.

Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion?;

Killian. He loves doing romantic things for his boyfriend/husband as often as he can.

Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen?;

Killian because Killian is the artist between the two and Jefferson is too squeamish to draw on himself or Killian.

Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation?;

It's Jefferson. He loves them. Alot. Their fridge is covered in them. Killian can't stand them.

Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines?;

Killian because they interest him alot and Jefferson goes along with it because it assumes him to see Killian's reactions to what they learn. Plus he's curious about it as well, so it's a win-win.

Whether they're a big spoon or little spoon?;

It alternates between the two of them depending on their moods. Jefferson is usually the little spoon though.

Who would bring a random animal home and make the other have it as a pet?;

Killian. It's Killian. It surprises everyone but it is Killian. He has a soft spot for strays-- animals, kids, Jefferson. All types of strays.

Who is more accident prone?;

Killian. He has no self-preservation, much to Jefferson's displeasure, which usually leads to the current big bad throwing him around like a rag doll. But he also is usually too busy flirting or chasing after his kids to pay attention to his surroundings, which leads to him tripping or running into things. His limited knowledge of this world doesn't help him at all in this regard.

Who is sickly and who never gets sick?;

Killian is constantly sick while Jefferson rarely ever gets sick. This annoys him greatly while both amusing and worrying everyone around him. Doesn't help that he doesn't admit when he's sick.

once upon a time is actually the best show ever because it’s quite literally one of the only shows with a premise that makes it possible for characters like dr. frankenstein, the mad hatter, and the evil queen from snow white to interact in a completely serious way. or like peter pan fighting the daughter of snow white and prince charming because he stole the son she shares with the evil queen (who is also pan’s great grandson). or the fact that they invented an 8th dwarf called stealthy and killed him off in the same episode. or the fact that they had the wicked witch of the west completely seriously pretend to be the dead wife of robin hood to hurt her sister, the evil queen. insane fucking show. i love it more than anything.

Chad Charming Headcanons revised;

Chad's full birth name that is on his birth certificate is 'Chadwick Robert Charming'.

Chad's birthday is July 4th.

He's 8 years older than his little sister, Chloe.

His mom's actual name is Ella but most people know her as Cinderella and his dad's name is Kit.

His Paternal grandparents' names are Robert and Cordelia and his Maternal grandparents' names are Marcus and Camilla.

He was adopted by his parents when he was little.

His grandfather gifted him a small crown when he was first brought home and Chad really looked up to him growing up.

He has naturally curly hair and uses hair gel, hair spray, and a hair straightener because he’s really insecure about his looks.

This is because he doesn’t look like his parents at all.

He use to be a really sweet kid but due to a few losses in the family, his sister’s poor health, his friends and him drifting apart, and a lack of attention for his parents (atop of school faculty letting him get away with nearly everything because they felt bad for him) he started to become the boy we saw on screen.

After his grandfather died, Chad started to resent his younger sister but hide it. He still loves her but finds it hard to be around her due to the difference in the amount of love and attention their parents give her and him.

Chad also really resents his friends (Jane, Ben, Doug, Lonnie, and Audrey)— minus Audrey— for how they all seemed to forget about him in middle school.

This is what causes him to act out against everyone– he’s desperate for attention. Good or bad.

He started to steal, lie, cheat, swear, and more. He got into more fights and started coming home less and less— spending more time at Fg's house and the baker's than his own.

He would also spend time with his aunt Snow White and uncle Florian and his friends' families to avoid going home.

He stopped doing this when they started commenting on it because he felt unwelcomed and didn’t want to cause trouble for his parents, who were doing the best they could given the situation they were in.

Said situation being his sister’s poor health, his many learning disabilities, his poor social skills, the many deaths in their family/inner circle, the responsibility of running a kingdom, and the responsibility of trying to get The Tremaine Family and Kit’s twin brother, James, off the isle. 

When he started to go Auardon Prep, Chad started staying there instead of over at his aunt and uncles’ (The Baker, Snow, Florian, and and FG) places because he didn’t want to be a burden on them and didn’t want to go home only to be mostly forgotten.

He met Doug through Jane because Doug is her cousin.

He also met Lonnie through Jane.

Ben and Audrey, on the other hand, he had known since they were babies.

Chad is not neurotypical.

He's younger than Ben and Lonnie but older than Audrey, Doug, and Jane. Though not by much.

Chad used to be the protector (Jay) of the ak group alongside Lonnie.

He's allergic to honey and feathers.

He used to go to the beach, the circus,  amusement parks, and playgrounds with his grandpa and Chloe.

He used to enjoy bird watching with them too.

He still tries to get feathers on his clothes even though it causes him to break out horribly. Evie was informed of this by Doug, which is one of the reasons why she refused to make him a feathery cape.

He stopped trying to eat honey after he turned 12.

He cried a lot as a child. Alot.

He was a very needy child for obvious reasons.

Chad’s parents spoil him to make up for the lack of attention they are able to give him, which he just sees as them trying to pay to get rid of him.

Chad helped his frantic parents look for Chloe after she ran off after the Maleficent incident in d1 Chad stopped letting his sister play with his friends and pets after he realized just how much more attention than him she got.

Chad is a slow learner.

Chad is claustrophobic, scared of Lady Tremaine, and terrified of losing his friends/ending up alone.

He and Chloe used to ride their bikes around the castle halls a lot. Mainly with Jane.

He tried to help Jane learn how to fly when she was younger before she started hiding her wings.

Council meetings bore the hell out of him.

Chad has a horse, 3 mice, a dog, and a cat— all descended from his parents' pets— and never lets anyone touch them in fear they'll hurt them or take them away.

He also secretly fears that his pets will leave him like previous friends of his once they find someone better.

He is only creeped out by mice that aren’t his because he’s afraid they’ll tattle on him to his mom.

He can be a bit obsessive and lazy sometimes.

Chad has trouble picking up on social cues.

Chad's pet mice are named 'Dagger, Starlight, and Cobalt'.

His cat is named 'Diamond'.

His dog is named 'swiggles'

And His horse is named 'colonel' .

His hobbies include but are not limited to: Fencing, sword-fighting, modeling, playing dress up, playing sports of any kind, playing games, singing, dancing, stargazing, playing video games, playing with animals, collecting action figures, watching cartoons, reading comics, fighting, exploring, swimming, and horseback riding.

He talks to his pets even though he doesn't always understand what they are saying.

He's really jealous of the vks because they get away with a lot of stuff that Coach Jenkins would never let him get away with, they get a lot of attention from people, and they always seem so confident.

He has had the hugest crush on Audrey since he was little but it was always one sided.

It crushed him when he realized that Audrey and him were only together so they could make Ben jealous. He became extremely jealous of Ben when he realized it and started acting like he didn't care about him.

He hates what he's become and wants to change but isn't sure if he can anymore. Or if it will be worth it, anymore.

He flinches away from Audrey for months after d3. He still does sometimes.

He wants to be a professional model or  Trophy Husband or varsity tourney player/swords and shield player. Mainly because he doesn't think he's smart enough to do anything else.

He still has his old baby blanket and his stuffed horse—which he hides away underneath his bed.

His favorite food is toast, pudding, and prunes. He also enjoys pizza.

His favorite drink is hot chocolate with cinnamon.

He was afraid of the dark until he was 7.

He wet the bed until he was 8.

His favorite colors are blue, yellow, white, and gold.

Chad loves going to the gym and he loves mirrors.

He freaks out whenever he gets messy as he gets older because he wants people to care about him.

His favorite song is 'Jock Star' by Hercules' muscles.

He can't stand the song 'He's a guy' by The Underworldians. It reminds him too much of himself.

He can't look at himself in the mirror sometimes without wanting to scream.

Sometimes, when he's alone, he screams to let all the anger and hate and pain out.

He joined forces with Audrey in descendants 3 for three reasons; she was the only one who really talked to him anymore, he was in love with her, and so everyone at the party could get away and warn everyone.

He can tell when something is wrong with his friends, thank you very much. And just like when Ben was spelled, there was something wrong with Audrey.

No one listened to him either times.

You can guess how annoyed he was by that.

He was missing for days after d3. Too freaked out and out of it to find his way home.

His uncle, The Baker, was the one who found him.

He was out of it for a few days after that too. When he came out of it, he met his Aunt Anastasia and four cousins (from her) for the first time. He didn't have much to say but she understood.

Chad loves his pets and friends more than anything. Even if it doesn't always seem that way.

One day, when he was little, his horse got loose and was missing for days.

He didn't stop crying until it was found. Yes, he got sick several times.

Fg decided to make sure that something like this would never happen again by... blessing Chad so that his pets would always be able to find him and get to him, no matter where he was.

Chad promised to never tell anyone and it's one of the few promises he's been able to keep over the years.

He named his stuffed horse 'Governor' and his stuffed bird 'Consort'.

He also had/has a doll that kinda looks like him that he named 'Little Chad'.

He had two imaginary friends that he called his other mother and his other father. He let go of them when he was 10.

His favorite social media is InstaRoyal.

His favorite treat that his uncle—the baker—makes him alot is Banana bread.

He develops a crush on Gil not long after d3.

He starts going to therapy after d3 and takes a break from his old friends—yes even Audrey—so he could work on himself.

He gets along surprisingly well with a lot of his step cousins. Anthony especially.

Who rearranges the bookshelf in alphabetical order?;

Killian. It's a habit from the navy (and Liam and his mother) that Killian's never been able to shake. It's also one Jefferson likes, so it's become their thing that their kids and friends don't get.

Who licks the spoon when they’re baking brownies?;

Niether. It's not something either of them really like to do, so they just let their kids do it. They have a system for it so everyone doesn't miss their turn.

Who buys candles for dinners even though there’s no special occasion?;

Killian. He loves doing romantic things for his boyfriend/husband as often as he can.

Who draws little tattoos on the other with a pen?;

Killian because Killian is the artist between the two and Jefferson is too squeamish to draw on himself or Killian.

Who comes home with a new souvenir magnet every time they go on vacation?;

It's Jefferson. He loves them. Alot. Their fridge is covered in them. Killian can't stand them.

Who convinces the other to fill out those couple surveys in the back of magazines?;

Killian because they interest him alot and Jefferson goes along with it because it assumes him to see Killian's reactions to what they learn. Plus he's curious about it as well, so it's a win-win.

Whether they're a big spoon or little spoon?;

It alternates between the two of them depending on their moods. Jefferson is usually the little spoon though.

Who would bring a random animal home and make the other have it as a pet?;

Killian. It's Killian. It surprises everyone but it is Killian. He has a soft spot for strays-- animals, kids, Jefferson. All types of strays.

Who is more accident prone?;

Killian. He has no self-preservation, much to Jefferson's displeasure, which usually leads to the current big bad throwing him around like a rag doll. But he also is usually too busy flirting or chasing after his kids to pay attention to his surroundings, which leads to him tripping or running into things. His limited knowledge of this world doesn't help him at all in this regard.

Who is sickly and who never gets sick?;

Killian is constantly sick while Jefferson rarely ever gets sick. This annoys him greatly while both amusing and worrying everyone around him. Doesn't help that he doesn't admit when he's sick.
