Hugfia week day seven: Romance. Sofia wasn’t sure when it had exactly started between her and Hugo. 

 Amber thought it was after their first Flying Derby race while James thought it was a few weeks after their ice dancing performance. 

 She didn’t agree but didn’t disagree either. It just happened. 

 “Sofia? You ready?” 

 Sofia stopped herself, seeing Roland’s graying hair as a gentle smile laid on his face. 

 His arm wrapped around hers had Sofia remember that she wasn’t a little girl anymore.

 She was a soon to be married woman.

 “I-I am,” Sofia smiled, wiping away the tears in her eyes. “Dad, thank you for doing this.”

 Roland chuckled, fixing her veil. “You’re not the only daughter I’ll have to walk to the aisle you know. But you’re welcome.”

 He noticed Hugo next to the priest before turning back to his youngest daughter. “You ready? Can’t keep your soon to be husband waiting.” 

 Sofia looked around. Miranda and Amber were both already in tears and James, who just married months before, patted an expecting Vivian’s hand. With a smile, she turned back to Roland.

 “I’m ready to be Hugo’s wife Dad. Let’s go.” 

Awww. Love the scene between Roland and Sofia.

Hugfia week day four: My Hero

Royal Prep was raining down in torrents. Except that rain wasn’t what Sofia was covered in.

 Instead it was balls of mud by some older princes. 

 She cowered in fear, hoping to defend herself with her hands as another ball of dirt came towards her. 

 Except this time it didn’t. 

 “Leave her alone!” Hugo growled, crushing the dirt ball with his hand. “Now get before I tell the fairies. Especially before your graduation.”

 The older princes nodded, running off as Hugo helped Sofia up to her feet.

 “Thank you,” Sofia smiled. “They just came up to me out of nowhere and started throwing for about twenty minutes until you came.” 

 Hugo chuckled softly. “No wonder you’re covered in mud.” Sofia laughed nervously. “It’s rather sticky. Amber’s not going to like this,” 

 “She’ll understand,” Hugo smiled, taking her hand. “Come on before you get cold.” 

Sofia nodded, hiding a blush. Not exactly what she was expecting to have that morning.

Hugfia week day three: Free Theme

 Forgiveness. How do you forgive someone who made your first year at Royal Prep a nightmare? 

 Sofia wondered how as she and Hugo placed the Flying Crown trophy in Royal Prep’s display case. 

 She certainly didn’t forget him knocking her off Minimus nor the time Hugo had spit gum in her hair, having to spend a humiliating hour in the royal hairdressers just to have her curls cut off because the gum didn’t want to unstick. 

 But the past was in the past as Hugo noticed her somber expression. 

 “I know I was a real jerk to you,” he admitted. “But I was only jealous of you winning the try outs and I apologize.”

 “Would that explain the time you spilled tea all over me and I smelled like a herb for a day and a half?” Sofia chuckled.

 Hugo ribbed the back of his neck sheepishly. “At least I didn’t hurt you. Right?” Sofia nodded. 

Most of Hugo’s doings were childish pranks even if they did more damage to her hair and clothes than he seemed to realize. 

 Hugo sighed in relief, closing the door to the trophy display case as Sofia glanced at him.

 “Hugo, James and Amber went home early this afternoon. Do you want to get some practice in being just the two of us?” Sofia requested. She blushed softly, fiddling with the chain of her amulet. “I mean if you don’t want to as you’re still new to being nice to me then I understand but....” 

 Hugo placed a peck on her cheek. “I’d love to.” 

 As they left the main hall, Sofia felt her cheeks burning. Now she was wondering how she managed to start blushing in front of her former bully without the ability to stop it.

Hugfia week 2020 Day Two: Family

. One thing Hugo remembered from that Wassailia night after he and Sofia told everyone they were expecting their first child was Amber fainting from shock. Everyone had expected her to produce a heir first but Sofia and Hugo had beaten her to the punch after conceiving while completely intoxicated. Maybe that was why Hugo had nearly choked on his drink upon getting the news from Sofia herself. A remembrance of lust and sex or not, Hugo was determined to be protective of the baby and the love of his life. How bad could a pregnant twenty two year old Sofia be? She wasn’t for the first four months. Aside from crying after morning sickness, she was fine until five months. Just as they had gotten the news of a baby boy and the process of a nursery set up, Sofia had gotten sick. While it hadn’t affected the baby, she’d have to be careful for the remainder of her pregnancy. Sofia had taken the news well enough, slowing herself down while Hugo went overboard with his protectiveness. That caused a few arguments and screams of “You did this to me!” from Sofia until they both felt their baby boy kick one day, resulting in tears of joy from the expecting parents. Four months later on a beautiful day in September, Sofia had gone into labor. While the whole kingdom was in a panic and tenses of Sofia being another Lorelei were understandable, Hugo had stayed by her side the entire time. All seventeen hours of labor. “We did it Hugo,” Sofia smiled as a shrieking baby boy was placed in her arms. “It’s okay little one. Mommy���s here.” “Daddy’s here too,” Hugo added, stroking his son’s curls. Prince Birk the second, Sofia had decided the name on her eighth month, of Enchancia with the honorary middle name of Axel after his uncle was someone both parents would protect for as long as they lived.

I love your Sofia clumsy posts! I think Sofia did that on purpose so he could help her. She fell for him. 

Hugfia Week 2020 Day 1: Winter/Ice Skating Sofia Clumsy 20: lol, though most of the time we See Hugo helping Sofia with her clumsy skating, this time he’s the one that causes her to clumsily fall. Though it may not be the nicest thing, it’s still just as great as any other Hugfia moment!! lol 😂
