On this weekly episode, We all have emotional needs. But what exactly is the definition of an emotional need? Emotional needs are feelings or conditions we need to feel happy, fulfilled, or at peace. Without them, we may feel frustrated, hurt, or dissatisfied. Some examples of emotional needs might include feeling appreciated, feeling accomplished, feeling safe, or feeling part of a community. As humans, we seek emotional nourishment as much as food and water. However, I often wonder if it is indeed a birthright to be emotionally nourished. We are currently 4 days always from Thanksgiving. Turkey, Stuffing, Mac and Cheese, Ham, Deviled Eggs, Gravy, Apple Pie, Sweet Potato Pie, Pumpkin Pie oooo MY! The holiday season is advertised as a festive time of the year filled with parties, celebrations, and social gatherings with family and friends. For many people, it is a time filled with sadness, self-reflection, loneliness, and anxiety. Depression may occur at any time of the year, due in large part to stress and anxiety accompanied with the months of November and December may cause even those who are usually content to experience loneliness and a lack of fulfillment.“A spiritual practice is a constant battle within, replacing previous negative conditioning or habituation with new positive conditioning.” Dalai Lama. If we were to be completely honest with ourselves the foundation of most of our issues in life is the byproduct of our self-destructive behavior. Self-destructive behaviors provide relief or even pleasure in the short term but ultimately get in the way of living a life that feels satisfying and fulfilling. Self-destructive behavior may be intentional or subconscious, impulsive or planned. On this weekly episode, The level of success you see in your life has a direct result of your belief system. I’m not talking about religion or philosophy here. Sport, Business, Personal Life self-confidence is vital. We all have talent, skills, training, and tools however these alone will not change one’s life. I believe one of the most vital factors is one’s ability to overcome obstacles. Is one's self-confidence. Self-work is the fundamental foundation for self-confidence. Ben Simmons believes the Philadelphia 76ers’ recent actions are exacerbating his mental health issues, and that the team wants to deem him fit to force him to play, regardless of what he tells the team’s mental health therapist. Does Ben Simmons have the right to want to be paid while he is unfit to fulfill his contractual obligations with the 76ers? Why do sensible and rational people seem to lose the ability to act sensibly and rationally when they are in conflict? What makes us so angry and upset is that we are open to tearing deep relationships apart in various squabbles. Which in hindsight may be determined to be petty or childish. Our self-esteem is one of the strongest motivating factors in conflict and generates powerful emotions. On this weekly episode, we look at the contrast between good and bad decisions. In a biblical sense, we must atone for these transgressions. This is why bad decisions have such a great cost in comparison with decisions. The bad or poor decisions often alter our path of life in a profound way in comparison with wise decisions. Life is not linear. It doesn’t always make sense and expecting a logical progression is folly, especially in the world we live in today. We don’t have a set of directions or a secret map that tells us what to do or where to go. Our paths are winding and filled with forks. Sex is an Art. It is a sensual act, with the potential for unlimited and unparalleled creative power. Tapping into your sexual centers can serve as a source of inspiration, motivation, and incomparable energy. I have a strong belief that sex is an Art as much as it is a Skill.  Come with me as we take a look Under The Armor. #underthearmor #Vegasmr702 #podcast #enlightenment #sex #art #decision (at Atlanta, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CV_qWXGr9Pm/?utm_medium=tumblr

On this 50th episode, I would like to express much gratitude.  Thank you for being such amazing listeners. Thank you for allowing me to express my thoughts and beliefs. Less is more but how can this be, We live in a more more world. The ideology can pretty confusing. After all, the words less and more are antonyms: They’re one another’s the literal opposite. So how could less be more?!  We all would like more. More money, more clothes, more gadgets. But could less of something a smaller amount can at times be more beneficial than a large amount of it? There is a beauty within simplicity, how better is such an approach in comparison to one that is more complicated. When is the last time you played? When was the last time you enjoyed a game of tag, when is the last you got on the court, or field, or table? When was the last time you enjoyed a game that you fell in love with as a child? Play has been shown to release endorphins, improve brain functionality, and stimulate creativity. And it can even help to keep us young and feeling energetic. Studies show that play improves memory and stimulates the growth of the cerebral cortex. Do you add value to those around you? Is this a question we ask ourselves often enough? What is value? According to Webster, dictionary value is a fair return or equivalent in goods, services, or money for something exchanged. What does it mean to add value to others? Within our Relationship, Partnership, Friendships what does adding value look like. You might have a theory. You might have a perspective. You might have an assumption. But unless you’re operating in objective reality, your opinion is just that—an opinion. Some might claim this is semantics. I disagree. Words are powerful. If you’re distorting the meaning of a word or phrase to fit your narrative, you’re likely limiting your perspective and your own sovereignty #readingisfundamental #sovereignty #underthearmor #Vegasmr702 #feedmeknowledge (at Atlanta, Georgia) https://www.instagram.com/p/CVQuVIavD2r/?utm_medium=tumblr

On this weekly episode, The power of No Wielded wisely, No is an instrument of integrity and a shield against exploitation. It often takes courage to say. It is hard to receive. But setting limits sets us free. No that is an affirmation of self implicitly acknowledges personal responsibility. It says that while each of us interacts with others, and loves, respects, and values those relationships, we do not and cannot allow ourselves always to be influenced by them. The strength we draw from saying No is that it underscores this hard truth of maturity: We are human and we all have limits. No one likes to fail, and that makes perfect sense. Failure doesn’t feel good, and it usually costs us a sizable chunk of money, time, and dignity. On top of that, comebacks are exhausting. Here’s the thing, though: to some degree, failure is an inevitable part of life. Whether they’re big or small, none of us can avoid experiencing setbacks from time to time and that’s OK. In fact, it’s more than just OK to fail it’s necessary. Cognitive distortions are biased perspectives we take on ourselves and the world around us. They are irrational thoughts and beliefs that we unknowingly reinforce over time. These patterns and systems of thought are often subtle–it’s difficult to recognize them when they are a regular feature of your day-to-day thoughts. That is why they can be so damaging since it’s hard to change what you don’t recognize as something that needs to change! On this weekly episode, we celebrate the 5th Anniversary of my father's death. The act of dying is equal in all… Death has no degrees of greater or less; for it has the same limit in all instances, the finishing of life.” Seneca. If we all are going to die and there is nothing that can prevent us from this. What should we do? Should we fight it? Try to run from it? How about we live a life that impacts the world and community around us much longer than the time we have on this earth. Complacency destroys progress. It is one of the only things you can do that cannot be justified into achieving your goal of any kind. Lately, I have been feeling burnt out dealing with work and life but recently I had a meeting with myself and realized that I have become Complacent. This is a dangerous virus that we all struggle with within our day-to-day life. Do you drive and text, how about working on several tasks at the same time? When is the last time you give a task 100% of your focus and attention? Multitasking reduces your efficiency and performance because your brain can only focus on one thing at a time. When we try to do two things at once, our brain lacks the capacity to perform both tasks successfully. Research also shows that, in addition to slowing us down, multitasking lowers our IQ. Come with me as we take a look Under The Armor.
