A Word of Advice

Hi travelers! Since the future of Twitter is incredibly uncertain at the moment, I wanted to remind everyone to check how you log in to Genshin Impact (and any other service, for that matter). If you exclusively log in with your Twitter account, I recommend adding another login method so you don't get locked out in the event that the site does shut down. You can check your linked accounts and add new ones through the User Center section of the Settings menu.

Other login methods include email, phone number, Hoyoverse account (which can be created in the User Center, if you don't already have one), Facebook, Google (Android exclusive), or Apple ID (iOS exclusive). Even if you don't use Twitter, it never hurts to have a backup method!

my personal tumblr advice based on what I've been seeing my friends asking about IS

messing with themes and sideblogs is a lot of fun! u can search "themes" on tumblr to find some premade, customizable ones! it's rly nice being able to decorate your own space. you can even make separate pages, like an "about" page for example! and remember, you can edit how you look on desktop AND on mobile!!

use a blacklist (like the tumblr savior extension) if there's stuff u dont wanna see! for example, you can blacklist "[insert tv show here] spoilers" and go spoiler-free as long as people are kind enough to tag it :D

remember, u can turn anon messages on and off! I mean, u can turn your entire askbox on and off, but I mention anon asks specifically bc if ur receiving Evil asks then they're probably anonymous, and u can shut them up very easily this way. (you can also block specific anons, though it doesn't always work.)

speaking of blocking! nobody can see who you've blocked so don't worry about it and block whoever you want! also, if you go to settings, you can turn off "share posts you liked" and "share tumblrs you're following" and no one will be able to see those things either. then u can like, follow, and block without any risk of being judged for it by some random weirdo!! yay!!!!

being able to see everyone's tags is a relatively new addition to tumblr so if someone is saying stuff in the tags of your post, they're probably not expecting a response. you can totally still message them, I'm just saying you won't be seen as impolite if you don't respond

are you used to having a private, locked acc on twitter? you can make one of those here too! in blog settings, you can hide your blog from search results, hide your blog from people without an acc, or even password protect your blog so only people with the password can access it!
