//Hey so it has been an extremely hot minute. I hardly have time for this blog OR my multi. I still want to keep this blog up, and I really do want to rp because I love Huntress Wizard, but unfortuenaly my adult life just does not have time for one blog let alone two

I keep saying "someday ill come back here and rp" but that day never comes, and while i never want to say "ill probably not rp here again" that's looking more realistic than me saying "im gonna come rp on here frequently."

RITO cuisine was foreign to her, butter and wheat and SALMON being a staple as opposed to tomatoes and monkey and OCTOROK tentacles, something she was still trying to convince to people that it could be used in actual food and not just potions if one knew how to prepare it correctly.

  Feather fingers offer a ladle to sample. Difficult as it may be, Revali takes great pride and care to prepare the stew, a dish other than a typical fish. It’s one of his lesser celebrated talents, and truthfully, Revali doesn’t have much time as of late to do it, but his mother taught him the art of cooking and he carries that knowledge long after she’s passed.

The moment lost it’s meaning for a moment as Rick watched Huntress babble about. He really should’ve left at that point. Actually, he really thought about it. He didn’t. Instead, he decided to carry on through. 

After all, he meant it when he said he felt responsible. It was his fault. In one sense or another. And he wouldn’t just leave. Especially not with the heavy question lingering in the air about their friendship. 

“…No, I don’t,” He sighed out. 

In that moment, it was as if the mask fell. A glimpse of a broken man who didn’t know how to treat the people around him well. No matter how well loved or liked. How much respect he held for someone. It always ended up this way. 

“I insult everyone, I-I insult my own fucking grandson, I-I,” He paused, trying to get a better hold on his words. He wanted to make her understand. “It’s complicated, m-maybe a conversation when you’re sober, but I-I’ve been through a fucking lot a-and this is how I am. I hurt the people I love, insult the people I-I give a shit about. I-It’s just what I do.” 

🍃🏹➳   ❝ ...Huh. ❞   She was SILENT as the grave after that simple reply,  having managed to ROLL over onto her stomach and glance up at him from an ANGLE.

               A broken MAN who only SPURNED companionship and AFFECTION that wasn’t in the form of dually HARMFUL or SELF-DESTRUCTIVE.   Someone who used his INTELLIGENCE to overcompensate for his INFERIORITY complex and used his KNOWLEDGE to escape from his PROBLEMS instead of trying to FIX them.

                ❝ Sounds kind of like ME when I was YOUR age. ❞   Huntress mused.   Yes,  Rick may have SEEMED like a broken,  jaded OLD man with no room for GROWTH,  but by the WIZARD’s scale,  he was but a CHILD.   It was a SHAME that humans aged so POORLY,  otherwise the half-dryad would say that he still had TIME to change and IMPROVE.

               ❝ Have you tried NOT doing that? ❞   Even IF Huntress wanted to ARTICULATE what she was THINKING,  she still didn’t seem exactly SOBER enough to do so.

                   Truth be TOLD,  she WAS indeed a bit UNEASY in this environment.   a haunted FOREST would have been one thing,  but the ruins of an ancient human METROPOLIS?   Littered with the IRRADIATED remains of an AGE long gone by due to the inhabitants own HUBRIS?   THAT was kind of spooky.

                  ❝ STILL...  we shouldn’t stray TOO far off the path here.   There might still be GOO ZOMBIES around. ❞   She paused a moment.    ❝ You made SURE to take those RAD-X pills before we left,  right? ❞

                ❝ I’m betting its a GORILLA GHOST.   Something that was used to having opposable THUMBS in life.   Whatever it is,  we should find it and DEAL with it. ❞
