This being my first post that doesn’t include a character that belongs to Nate in a really long time is kinda hilarious. This guy half belongs to them anyway since he lives in the universe (at least an alternate one) created by Ace and Nate, oops! Thanks for letting me do that. Check out their web comic if you wanna see some cool stuff.

I’m still figuring out Cassian’s deal, but he’s cool, to some degree... And the fact that he looks like Odysseus is juuuuust a coincidence, I promise!

Where it all started... A small redraw of my first Odyssey AU drawing I did way back in July of last year. When Odysseus was still Odysseus (greek hero), he just happened to have a companion on his way back home. I love them a lot.

If only we had gone together, I would have died with a heart beating in my chest. Oh, they drive me insane. The whole *dying on the same blade.* I will never recover. And of course, credit to @huntseric for Beleg with vitiligo, which apparently is so deeply ingrained in my imagination that I couldn't come up with a design for him without it.

Lesson to learn ☀️

I wanted to do something quick for one of our recent ideas, Nate wrote a chapter for it and it was amazing, I had to illustrate it somehow. My goal is to at least draw one thing for all the AUs, for now only one is missing (iykyk).

My last post before I return to work tomorrow, I'm glad I got to do a few before I’m forever exhausted once again (even if I love my job).

I've been thinking about changing my guy's name because he is in fact just like an oc right now (when I'm not straight up drawing the guy from the Odyssey and I'm just doing silly AUs) but I can't think of a better name than Odysseus. Honestly thought at some point to change his name to Ulysses but it's not as good I'm afraid.

I can’t help but feel like I led you astray.

Stopped fooling around and drew Tybalt (she/they) and Odysseus together finally. This is a moment in one of our AUs in which Odysseus is thinking of giving up.

If you want more context:

Me and my friend Nate created various “what if” stories where Odysseus is a follower of a Goddess of War (not Athena!) and he ends up bringing shame to her name. The idea started as Odysseus (Greek hero, yes) being in another world and having the same essence but it changed so much ever since he’s just my character now. Sucks that I have almost the same design for the Greek guy as well, but alas!
