Also the cover is beautiful!! I love how the cover has fire and also the pages have water on them!! It’s also cool that it includes both perspectives but I wish it was all his cause then more new story and also I have the other book but I’m still really excited!!

okay. i need people to understand the main issue here. ncuti gatwa is the first (full time) black doctor. his entrance was overshadowed by david tennant. his entire run has been the least watched run, many of you admit you did not watch his era. now, after only 16 episodes and a few specials he has regenerated and all people are talking about is billie piper. do you really not see the issue at all? and don't even get me started on what they did to belinda! i'm so BOGGLED by the amount of disrespect thrown at fifteen. he barely got to BE HIS OWN CHARACTER. we barely know him and he's gone. unreal.

very bad au idea: Galbatorix is not sending the ra'zacs to Carvahall to fetch Eragon, but Murtagh. You know, he has to prove himself, so he's very eagerly doing what he's been told, and since that thing in the arena and Cantos did not happen, he has just the "Galbatorix can talk very nicely" picture. Add maybe one Tornac and a squad of soldiers, since he *is* a nobleman, and also an important one, he can't just go off like that.

What I can see in my mind is a panicked Eragon running down the road, but instead of the farm burning, he finds a bunch of guys sitting around, maybe playing with dice, while Garrow and Murtagh are inside, both doing the "I am trying to be very polite here, can't you see that" talk. Bonus points for Murtagh kinda looking like the man who got Garrow's sister off her feet years ago lol

Their dynamics would have been so much different ohmy

Today I was talking with my sister and we were talking about audiobooks and Eragon and she said yeah you used to listen to it like everyday. Yeah I fear I still am obsessed with it, I finished rereading Murtagh and I really want to reread Eragon or Murtagh or any other book from the series again, I love them way too much haha

Murtagh had thought ever since he was 3 years old that all his relatives were dead. Then his foster father died when he was 18, and he thought that from that moment he would be alone forever, a boy without a family.

Then, Twins revealed that this silly boy with whom Murtagh had travelled for a few months and saved him many times was actually his long-lost brother. It was even more bitter for him to fight against Eragon, they were supposed to be brothers and not enemies.

Murtagh didn't even dare to dream to have a big family before.

(Little did he know that his new relatives would be just as reckless and similar to him)

Now Murtagh has brother, cousin, and niece (and his family is growing)

Can't wait for Murtagh to finally have a chance to be part of his new family. Let him spoil Ismira with gifts, have a cousin fight with Roran, listen to stories about his uncle, and about the childhood in Carvahall that he could have had
