Hi there! I think I am planning a fun little gimmick for fossils? I like the idea of having to collect fossilised shells in rivers or on the seaside?
Sort of seahorse fossils with seaweed mixed in :)

Not really at the moment! My goal is to design a whole region in a consistent style - so adding a new gimmick isn’t really on my agenda. But who knows maybe!

Also want to add on I absolutely adore and enjoy hearing others ideas and trying to integrate them! For example someone lovely on tumblr suggested the names for my pikaclones (coming soon) and I just absolutely love those names!
Other than being based on Ireland, what is the theme of this region?
Hello! I think it’s mostly based on Irish culture and history. The theme in my head is “Spirit and Soul” and it’s more for me to try and reconnect and rediscover all the cool culture and weird ass tales from my country!
But the secondary theme is really just improving my art, trying new things, discovering new ways of drawing and colouring digitally and having fun! This is a passion project to relax after work and for me to enjoy :)

Punchipunk & Squarrel!
The fighting squirrels of Hyber! Like a lot of people I wasn’t impressed with galars squirrels so I decided to base my regional rodent off of their red cousins!
They’re native to Ireland plus were threatened by the introduction of grey squirrels by the British empire and deforestation. So having these guys ready to fight anyone that approaches their tree felt right :)

Im thinking of changing my regional dog to a normal / steel type sheepdog, the first stage based on metal wool… in my head the pup Pokémon floats around happily but it’s second stage is a reliable farm dog

Will there be new regional variants or special regional variant evolutions?
Yep! So far the regional variants are probably gonna be falinks, the honedge line, maybe dhelmise, phantump and a new evo, the toucannon line plus 3 new eeveelutions?
Haven’t really thought about convergent Pokémon yet but would love to try them out too!

Since this region is influenced by Ireland. Will there be a Pokémon based on the Dullahan?
Hello! Yeah my idea is to make its head and body two separate Pokémon, so far I only have the head!
James Turner - who was the chief Pokémon designer for sword and shield - said that at the end of the day pokemon have to be able to seem like you could be friends. So a scary headless horseman needs to be made more goofy 🥴
Plus there’s famous ancient mummies found in the bogs of Ireland so I thought I’d try and combine those two
