Illustrators will talk about their "unrealistic dreams" of making a feature length animation, book, game, etc. about their characters. That's cool, genuinely. But as a potter mine is to tile the bottom of a public swimming pool with a comic that ends up seriously endangering people when they try to read it underwater. So. There's that.

I don't lament about matters that were not up to me, but I think I would have enjoyed a life as a muppet in an 80s dark fantasy Jim Henson film. Just being a small kind of fucked-up looking little creature, doing my mysterious strange little daily tasks. Occasionally unpromptedly telling my whole life story to a random errant young hero who only stopped by to ask directions. Guiding them into the completely wrong direction because they interrupted me to tell me that they're in a hurry and that they really don't care, and that was rude. Fuck them kids.
