Another yearly redraw! It once started off for fun but now it became a yearly tradition of mine to make a redraw of this OC!

The 2nd half of last year was really a hassle... I hope this year will bring more luck and good news! I have a few resolutions I wanna do or at least try this year!

(Rambling below ☆)

If you take a closer look, you can see some morse code there XD! It'd be cool if yall decipher them ^^

2024 wasn't as perfect, and I wasn't able to draw much. It's a shame to see that when I compare the amount of art I used to do the past years vs. now.

But with each year passed, I've found purpose on why I make each illustration. I realized I've been drawing without an end goal. I only drew just for the sake of it. This year, I've learned how to do editorial cartooning. I don't show them here as they are rather personal.

But the point is, I learned that everything you draw in your illustration has a reason. Each symbol, motion, has a message to convey and without realizing it, you've touched a person with your art...

... And here, I contemplated on why I even draw in the first place. Right now, I want to draw scenes that tell a story. It may not seem much, but the more I pour in my reason for drawing, the more beautiful they become, and the more I get to love and appreciate art! (and I learned I love texture brushes a lot ahah)

This year has been a year full of experiments and getting out of my comfort zone (albeit small), but it's safe to say I've checked these off my to do list!:

• Start commissions

• Work on group collabs

• Meet new artists

• Work on an MV collab (still a work in progress)

• Participate in Artfight

• Experiment with styles

• Try a different hobby (air dry clay keychains!)

I admit I wanted to do more OC work as part of my goals but I couldn't continue their stories properly. Hopefully I can show yall a bit more of them... and maybe, it's starting now...?

If you've read this far, thank you! I doubt a lot would read till the end. I'm glad yall are still staying strong this year. A friend once told me that doing your best is already an achievement! Why don't yall maybe drop by and comment your goals for the next year! ^^

The original title is actually: Girlfriends in a booth whatever idk (I'm sorry, I was pressured by some friends in the captions of the artfight post)

Waaahh, a friendly fire for @ cmmn on artfight!

I was torn to who I should draw... but both were equally cute and pretty so I had to draw them. (specially when they like them drawn together) I couldn't let that opportunity pass XD

Also, perspective sucks... it wasn't how I thought it'd turn out to be, but at the same time, I'm also satisfied for being able to pull off something like this... although it still needs more.

I'd really appreciate it if yall can tell me what to do next time and also give tips in how to do these scenarios hehe thanks!
