Raihan waved to Piers while still holding the bandage to his head as he was taken back, giving him the promise that he'd come out just fine. The worst part was definitely the numbing agent being injected, but the paired Blissey using Heal Pulse made it tolerable. Once that was done, the stitches and additional healing were nothing short of enjoyable.
He took a selfie with the Blissey, before giving her a treat from his pocket and smiling. "Thank you." He told her, before he thanked the nurse and headed out.
His bandana was fully wasted at this point, but the rest of his clothing was mostly fine. He had a nice piece of gauze wrapped in bandaging to keep his fresh wound closed and clear. So, when he walked outside and saw Piers off to the side (a respectful distance away since he was smoking, still), he walked over. He shrugged off his jacket and laid it over Piers's shoulders. "Thanks for taking me to get treatment." He greeted the rockstar gym leader with a playful smile.
He already looked like he felt so, so much better. After all, the concussion had been dealt with and now it was just the cut, which would be healed thanks to the accelerated way pokemon healing worked on humans. "How's the weather? Any chance of clear up in the next hour?" He asked curiously, not wanting Piers to keep thinking about the previous issue.
By far, Raihan was one of, if not the most stubborn man alive when it came to concerns of his own health and wellbeing. Even if his dear childhood friend had acquiesced to Piers' concern, it was only enough for him to withdraw a bloody hand from the gauze and lower himself back to the flat of his feet. Or as flat as his platformed shoes would allow. Briefly, blue-gray eyes studied the face of that uncrushable, optimistic dragon tamer who all too often took injuries like this in stride.
"... matching, huh?" Piers frowned. And while he did not elaborate, his disdain was written in the way he shook his head, how he did not offer not so much as another word as they walked. Quiet, but diligent. If Raihan missed a step, Piers steadied him. If their pace was too quick, he slowed them down, an arm threaded a secured around Raihan's waist. He even went as far as to enter the center and see to Raihan being checked in and taken back.
Then, Piers was outside. Old habits died hard-- even a self-made Rockstar and excelled trainer did not easily shake off the tumult of a.. difficult childhood. Pokecenters were a free service for wounded pokemon. It was the human patients that they could and did charge to keep the lights on. Piers preferred to spend as little time there as possible. Once he had taken care of the co-pay, he practically already had a cigarette pulled out from his jacket, not all too focused on the blood smearing his clothing, the cartoon, or even the wrap between his pale fingers.
Leaning against the wall outside, Piers took a long, nicotine filled drag to steady his nerves. It was only a concussion, at worst. Nothing like when Goodra nearly melted a good streak of skin... or when Raihan, fearless, and reckless, captured Duraldon when Flygon had just become a Vibrava... Talented, yes. But Piers was certain at least a decade of his life had been used up over the worry and lung damage he had accrued over the years.

Leon had been more than happy to meet up with Raihan for lunch. Meeting one of his closest friends only in short bursts wasn't nearly enough, and the champion craved the off-season.
Naturally, he'd been more than excited to see the dragon tamer, and had been talking for a little bit as they walked when suddenly, so much was happening.
Leon had been prepared to help when suddenly he was falling. Landing in the water definitely helped break the fall, but also, his cape began to drag him down from how water logged it was. Reaching up, he snapped off the clasps and let the cape fall away as he surfaced and coughed.
He looked over at Raihan with a concerned look, pushing his hair back from his face as he treaded water. "I'm alright, Raihan. What just happened?" He asked as he looked around.
With the only land in sight being the mountain in the distance, Leon knew this was about to be a long swim to get on solid ground again.
Another Tournament season had ended, and things started to calm down for gym leaders. Raihan was exhausted, but he hadn't seen Leon outside of official matches for more than a month.
So after texting Leon to meet for lunch, he flew to Wyndon with his Flygon and went to get the guy himself, to make sure he wouldn't get lost.
But of course, the universe wouldn't let him have a moment of peace, so while they were walking to the restaurant Raihan wanted to try out, a man literally crashed into Raihan, dropping some sort of device right in front of them. The man immediately jumped back, and Raihan blinked as a sort of purple mist rose from the broken gizmo.
And then the floor opened under him and Leon, and the next thing he knew was that he was briefly in the air, only to fall onto frigid sea water. Raihan splashed around in the water, resurfacing quickly. "Leon?! Are you okay?!"
In the distance, a huge mountain was looming, with a kaleidoscopic halo on top of it.

I have such an immodest question... Do you know such concepts as "personal life"? "HEALTHY SLEEP"??
Pff, okay, no negativity, I just want to say that - Dude, you do SO MANY cool drawings with such a small amount of time, it's REALLY IMPRESSIVE.
You're unrealistically cool, bro, keep up the good work. (don't forget to sleep well and eat on time)

The halls all bled together, the damages all looking the same or similar enough, and it was incredibly frustrating. Kanda really hated that this stupid innocence was toying with them so effectively. It made his blood boil. He hadn't dealt with an innocence this frustrating in months.
Careful steps over and around the rubble they passed, Kanda did not give a single second look. He didn't even react when that annoying Teez shot past him. He growled and looked over at Tyki, before not sparing a second glance and continuing on.
That is, until he heard the Noah clear his throat. He turned now to face him, a scowl on his face. "What?" He snapped, only to see the Teez now settled on Tyki's finger. And then the other man motioned the exorcist to take it? What was he thinking?! "I'm not taking that."
He held steadfast for just a moment before he grumbled and sighed. "If this attempts to kill me, I'm killing it, then you." He warned as he reached out and gently took the living weapon onto his own finger.
And when the damned butterfly didn't immediately attack, but instead tell him information from a lost seeker, Kanda actually relaxed just a fraction to listen. The Innocence was meant to work to protect the owner from threats. That made sense. It was creating a labyrinth to do so. Obviously. When things settled and the threat was minimized, things became more understandable. Oh.
He turned to Tyki. He actually had to work with this man. Actually had to make a temporary truce. They had the wrong man for this job. Truces were not Kanda's specialty. But... "I'll behave if you do. I recognize the importance of us getting out of here, and one of us getting this innocence."
Pain fractured up like lightning through the Noah's jaw as his advance was met with its inevitable repercussion. Holding his mouth, Tyki staggered a few steps back, the heavy metallic taste of blood on his tongue. But with what space Kanda had created, the exorcist filled it right up again with his own threats. Golden eyes glowered, drinking in every venomous line as though it were the ichor of the gods themselves. With a sickening crunch, he forced his jaw back into place so that it could smile in that impossibly wide way, even if it was clearly still painful, the way the dark blood trickled from the corners, how his lip quivered in a grimace. Broken, for now. And he could only laugh from the back of his throat until it healed enough to speak again. Lucky bastard. Lucky, but right at least about one thing. The moment humans became complacent was the moment they became inferior to the Noah. It was always refreshing to see one struggle and writhe against the flow of their own kind. Who knew? Maybe it would wake one day within the exorcist. There was a vacancy, afterall. For a time, the Noah merely followed the exorcist in their newfound direction. Wandering was wandering afterall, whether it was over here or over there. More halls... more damaged walls. In fact, Tyki came to an abrupt halt when Teez shot out from within the rubble towards him, frantic and fluttering, upset in having been left behind. It also relayed quite the fascinating bits of information. Well, this was awkward now, wasn't it? Tyki played with his jaw a little bit to see if it had gotten far enough along to talk again. Not quite, but he did clear his throat to get the exorcist's attention. This time, when he approached, it was slowly, like one might a feral cat. On the extension of his pointer finger, the Teez slowly opened and closed its wings. He offered it expectantly, a different sort of smile on his face now. His skin had in fact lightened from its blueish-gray and his demeanor was not nearly so stiff or egotistical. There was a certain earnestness there as he nodded encouragingly for the exorcist to take the creature which had ravaged his insides on more than one occasion.
It seemed that his bloodlust had cooled for now, those darker memories having gone to sleep ever since the Teez had shown him what it saw.

Well, that was certainly one way to answer him. Raihan would have laughed with the speed at which Piers slapped the gauze (and their hands) to his forehead again. Except such a sudden motion aggravated the growing headache he was getting, so- instead- it just made him wince. Okay. Maaaaybe this wasn't something to play off like it was nothing.
"Alright, alright. I yield." He told Piers with a small whine as he gently waved the shorter man off. He held the gauze to his head and straightened up so they could walk. "Pokecenter, Blissey. Let's go." He agreed to the demands. If only to help relieve some of Piers's worry. Can't have that.
He began to walk, only a little unsteady for the first step or two, since they had basically been still since he'd been hit. It took his a moment to get his balance back. "If this scars, it'll match the scar I got from Goodra when she was learning Sludge Bomb, back in the day." He laughed as they walked. Surprisingly, for a heavily bleeding and possibly concussed man, Raihan was doing pretty okay. Well, he was still making jokes like he was okay.
Lost was an apt observation. There was plenty in life that one could never control and was perhaps best to lay it at the feet of forces much higher and unimaginable. But Piers never liked that. He never liked putting his fate into someone or something else's hands. Where most stopped where navigating a tricky situation seemed impossible, he was the kind to become even more stubborn. At least, under the right circumstances. It would be an awful lot of a burden to bear if he ran himself into the ground over ever stranger he met. Raihan, however, was not a stranger. And Piers could see it on the dragon tamer's face when the heat of the battle was on his tongue. It wasn't often that a challenger got so far up the ladder. Galar to Piers, come in Piers. "Do I think you need what--?" Piers turned, visibly confused, although not for long as his sullen eyes widened in a mix of shock and reprimand. "Raihan! Put that back!" He growled, stomping back over to plaster his hand over top Raihan's own and with them together, pressed the bandage back to the still bleeding head wound. "You are going to need them if you keep squirming, ugh..." His fingers felt slick, the warm ooze of blood having him clench his teeth. This was... worse than he originally thought. Significantly so. And it was everything to push down the throbbing worry of his heart back down his throat. "We need to get you to the pokecenter. Get a Blissey to see you..." He frowned. "Come on. If you get light-headed, lean on me."

Continued from here | @shockwaveislogical
He had almost been clear of the most stressful part of his sneaking around the Nemesis. The only reason he had gone anywhere near Shockwave’s laboratory is because the ever present threat of Megatron was currently down the only other reasonable hallway in the training room. And he wasn’t about to risk himself that way.
The unexpected sound of Shockwave appeared behind him had Starscream jumping and nearly dropping every piece of dark energon. But his quick reaction caught all if it and he held onto it tight. Then he quickly turned to the larger mech behind him, glaring up at him as his wings lowered to be in a more annoyed and defensive stance. Despite the obvious threat that Shockwave posed, Starscream seemed to have learned to roll with the everchanging tides and gotten used to him.
That didn’t mean he wasn’t intimidated by Shockwave.
Slowly, the seeker’s wings came up into a neutral position again and he faked a smile. “Shockwave! Just the mech I was expecting, of course! I was obviously bringing this to you for study purposes! We still do not fully know how it affected our valiant leader!” The lie fell naturally from the very obviously treacherous flier. “I figured we could work on such research together, since it can be used to reanimate various mechs that we can then turn on our enemies, as well. And that would fall under my military leadership.”

Raihan shook his head, his smile falling some. Despite how happy he was that his friend was still the champion, it didn't negate the fact that he was bummed that he had lost yet again. Years upon years of losing to one man. "When that day comes... Yeah, something like that." He mentioned.
Leon laughed as well before he smiles at his friend
"Well when that day comes, I'll be more than happy to support you" Leon said
