There still would have been a problem if your mom cheated with someone other than her brother. The only problem with consensual incest is the social fallout. (Don't come at me about birth defects, we don't stan eugenics in this house.) Social issues surrounding consensual incest/consanguinamory get fixed, then there's nothing wrong with it.

Not saying you're not traumatized by the knowledge that you could have been, and people thought you were, the product of incest. But that wouldn't have been a trauma (aside from possibly due to the cheating) if incest was socially acceptable.

Anyway, yeah, in fiction I'd totally read, and possibly enjoy a story where a woman cheats on her husband with her brother, gets pregnant, and there's a question as to who's the father. But in real life? No, I don't support that at all. I've never heard of a situation where cheating is the right answer. Even if it's incest.

I do read fanfic, I'm just not involved in fandom beyond that and don't want to share my fandom history on this account. Outside of fanfic, I mostly read original porn fic on Literotica, where stories are divided into genre categories and Incest/Taboo is the largest one. But as I've said before, the quality isn't great and if I knew of another site with better quality that still had a large amount of stories and was free, I'd switch. (I just don't think such a site exists lol)
