So with the current arc reaching what could be be considered the final battle in the manga and the anime steadily catching up it has left me mentally going over things I wish we got to see more of Bonney messing around with the Stawhat's ages. it was cool to see Odas references to the bad timeline sketches for Luffy and chopper but that was kind of it. so in conclusion PLEASE ODA GIVE US LIKE FIVE SECONDS OF 4O YROLD LUFFY PLEASE!!! like imagine Luffy going from twink to DILF for a sec it would glorious. Please ODA give us DILF Luffy.

One Piece Au ideas

Hello fellow weebs I have returned to make shitty content

My horrid little brain has been concocting a bunch of different Au's for months at this point and I though eh fuck might as well get them out there to see what others think.

AU 1

Dragon maid but its Law desperately trying to get rid of the stray god and his supernatural buddies that have invaded his life. To start of Law lives in the "Modern world" he's working in the med field (the specifies to be determined later if I or someone decides to make this an actual fic) his roommate Bepo has had to move out of town and he's trying to find a replacement for costs. cut to Law getting drunk (or extremely sleep deprived) and finding a mortally wounded god laying in the alleyway near his apartment. que Law saving the God and then going home and passing out ands well its basically the opening episode for dragon maid but its Nika (Luffy ) instead of a dragon and he's not trying to be a maid but he is trying to be Law "roommate" and trying to pay back law for saving his life by taking care of him and being his friend. I've seen a similar concept for a zolu fic but the idea of Law just going insane as the SHs just invade his entire life is comedy gold. As for what the stawhat's are well Luffy's a god (Sun God Nika) Zoro's a demon along with Robin you don't really need to change Chopper Brook and Jinbei Nami's a witch duh Franky's an artificer( Just make it fantasy cyborg stuff) I thought it would be cool if Ussop was a wood puppet that Luffy accidently brought to life as a nod to Pinocchio, that or a wood sprite for the trickster aspect. also Law's human friend do come and interact with the SH's and to Laws horror they all become buddies and conspire to make him have fun!

(a lot of my ideas center on how to bully law and get him hugs at the same time :)

(it be funny if Luffy just didn't realized him just befriending spirits left and right was because of the avatar stuff he just does what he wants) people will get their faced punch in kyoshi approves of luffy throw hands with everything and everyone. in all seriousness the concept of a character like Luffy being the bringer of balance when he's chaos incarnate is funny.

so with everything going on in egghead and the debate one if Bonney will join the strawhats has been ramping up and at first i was on the fence about that because I miss law, but then i thought it be funny because she fits "Luffy's collection of traumatized pink/ purple children"

which then got me thinking about how that whole thing only really started picking up steam post time skip and no I have to wonder I luffy keeps collecting TPCs because hes trying to cope with the lose of ace, like he spent a decent amount of time just straight up projecting onto Shirahoshi when they met and the same for Momo, like it almost feels like its a trauma thing trying to fill the gap left by Ace. like if he can "fix" them they wont also lose the people they care about.

speaking of Momo I want more fics with Luffy introducing Momo (post wano) as his little brother cause itd be fucking funny for Luffy to go "and heres my little brother Momo hes a bit of a crybaby but hes a good kid" and then Momo just fucking towers over everyone like hi. Like I love me some ASL content but Id like to more of "big brother" Luffy

Au Idea

devil fruits are semi- aware and can talk to each other and oh boi do they talk and its basicly a bunch entities bickering like siblings with lots of bitching or bragging over their users depending on how compatible they are

zoans are by far the most vocal

Dfs refer to each other as siblings.

DFs can only really speak with each other when their "shell" has been destroyed aka they have a user . so its not unusual for some of them to go nuts from being silent for to long.

the users have to be within a certain distance of each other for the Dfs to talk.

sometimes DFs get really attached to their users this leads to DFs screaming at each other if their users are fighting.

people cant really hear them but sometimes the users get impressions from the Dfs usually on how use the Dfs power (this is my way of explaining the myth that you know name of your devil fruit as soon as you eat it.)

a proper awaking is more of a merge of minds the Dfs still speak with the others but their personality / way of speaking with very much reflect their users.

Dfs in this Au are not complete souls so awakened users are seen as the best thing ever because they are now "whole " ya know till that user dies rip.

just a rough idea of how these guys act.

Hito -Hito no mi: model Nika: Have you guys meet my user Luffy yet Isn't he just the best look at him such a funny little chaos gremlin.

(until we get confirmation that there has been other users since the void century its possible that Nika has been silent for centuries so Understandably he will not stop talking especially about Luffy but lets be real hear that all of us.

Mera had seen some of aces memories of luffy and while the powers seemed familiar the name didn't match (because the gomu gomu no mi is a fake name Nika dosen't really bother try to correct Luffy for his own safety) so imagine their surprise when ace runs in to Luffy during the alabsta arc and Nika is just oh hi Mera haven't heard from you in centuries isn't it funny you and I got sibling users. and now Mera has to deal with both Ace (and later sabo) and Nika just gushing about luffy nonstop.

some One Piece Hcs of mine part 1

some of these are based on others head canons.

post-wano Luffy has white in his hair and I don't mean oh it turned a bit gray no I mean like whole streaks of pure white. this could be caused by his awakening pushing his more nika traits to the surface or because he fucking died and put his body under an crazy amount of stress. maybe a bit of both but I think it would be cool for him to have another visual que of his progress like his big x scar marked a pretty monumental moment for him and the growth he went through because of it.

1.2 I like to think that Luffy has had a bit of red in his eyes that only really shows when his emotions are high this means any emotion not just anger so yeah also its even more noticeable when the sun hits them because duh sun god shit.

1.3 jumping off the white hair bit I think it would be cute for lawlu artists to use that concept because I've seen a lot of art with Law having little patches from amber lead on him and i just think it would be visually appealing even in a platonic way for one its a reminder of the worst time in his life the other a symbol of triumph and rebirth.

2 Ace isn't the biggest fan of spicey food like he still its eat if its there but not something he actively seeks out IDK I just thought it would be funny to have the fire guy not like spicy food.

3 the real reason the WG didn't go apeshit the moment they noticed Luffy had the gomu gomu no mi which lets be real was likely very on, was because it was easier to let him have it so they could keep track of it because its implied that the dam thing kept vanishing every time they tried to get it so they chose to wait not thinking Luffy would be able to awaken it. that untill wano when they realized that he was close to awakening it so the kill order was given welp sucks to be them that just made it worse. XD

4. Nami has a fund set aside purely for sun screen girls a red head out on the open sea she's gotta be using crap ton and she and chopper have to remind everyone to were some. psa of day guys protected yourselves from UV rays doesn't matter what race you over exposer can still lead to skin cancer so be safe.

4.1 quick tip for artists regarding Nami if your going to give her freckles think about where the suns hitting the the most Ive seen some art that just slathers them on across her entire body with zero variation and its like that's not it works. its just a nick pick of mine, I've seen a lot of artist try to give redhead anime characters freckles and does this and as a red head with freckles it just feels looks really off.

5. Izo is the shipper of the whitebeards that man has eye for "esthetic" so you bet he's over in the corner looking at people 'bout ready to play matchmaker. he will also be super supportive if it doesn't pan out well cause he's like that.

Laws family seems way to fucking normal to be Ds

Unfortunately we don't really get to see much of them when there wasn't a crisis going on where it was important for them to be "normal" for their patients sake so well never know them as anything else.

That being said you can not tell me that laws morbid humor and sarcasm came exclusively from trauma. so I like to think that his family were really a bunch of weird nerds when not in a professional setting would have very strange hobbies I like to think Law gets his whole collection habits from his mom. this totally not me projecting my family weirdness onto law's at nope not all.

if you guys have other weird/silly hcs about his family I would love to hear it.

soooo op chapter 1095 is out and i wanna cry

with Iva being a slave alongside Kuma makes their fight at marine-ford all the more tragic like for any of the revs to see the state Kuma was would be heartbreaking but for Iva who had witnessed the sheer depravity of the world nobles alongside him and escaped it with him to see that same friend once again enslaved in every conceivable way would be beyond devasting. leading off of that its also shown that Kuma knew about Nika and he told Bonney about him which opens up a whole slew of questions. Did he know? did he know Luffy was Nika or at the very least linked to him in some way? or did he save him purely because he's dragons kid? and speaking of Dragon did he know or suspect it? for that matter how many of the revs know about Nika considering how there's quite a few former slaves in the army it would make sense that the stories of the sun god would pass around a lot. If Kuma told Bonney about Nika I would imagine he would tell the story to the children of the RA so Sabo might know about Nika as well and can you imagine realizing that the god your mentors spoke of so dearly was in fact your baby brother like dang

Oda should do bit where Luffy steals food with his tongue like a frog, as a matter of fact the fandom need to do more comedic gags with the fact the Luffy can stretch and move his tongue like that cause its depressing that the degenerates are the only ones taking advantage of that fact. Like your telling me that not once since he got his devil fruit Luffy hasn't tried to mimic frogs like at all.
