NO ONE knows how to use thou/thee/thy/thine and i need to see that change if ur going to keep making “talking like a medieval peasant” jokes. /lh

They play the same roles as I/me/my/mine. In modern english, we use “you” for both the subject and the direct object/object of preposition/etc, so it’s difficult to compare “thou” to “you”.

So the trick is this: if you are trying to turn something Olde, first turn every “you” into first-person and then replace it like so:

“I” →  “thou”

“Me” →  “thee”

“My” →  “thy”

“Mine” →  “thine”

Let’s suppose we had the sentences “You have a cow. He gave it to you. It is your cow. The cow is yours”.

We could first imagine it in the first person-

“I have a cow. He gave it to me. It is my cow. The cow is mine”.

And then replace it-

“Thou hast a cow. He gave it to thee. It is thy cow. The cow is thine.”

As much as Warhammer has a your dudes policy... sometimes stuff is established in canon. Not everything is up for grabs.

I'm all for respecting people's right to go balls to the walls insane with personal lore and their fanfics, but it's cool if people also realise when their brain musings are not established canon. I am not having another round on reddit arguing with someone who claims Eldar change sex like clownfish so vagueposting here it is instead, I'm sorry. I'm two bad hours from a meltdown and I just care about it a lot ok. I'm a Warhammer fan first and foremost. And this might be one of my biggest gripes with the Rogue Trader fandom.

Seriously, guys, wtf. I thought people had learned to respect other people's art and characters, but I guess I was thinking too well of the fandom. Sorry that that's happened to you and your girl :c

PLEASE ! ASK FOR YOUR ATTENTION!

This person used my OC to create a bot. No one asked me for permission as the author of the character. I never thought I would find myself in such an absurd situation, but here I am. It could have been anyone in my place. It's disgusting when you put effort, time and love into a character, and someone else steals it all for fun. This is not the kind of "popularity" I would want for my girl.

As you can see, this person also used other artists' art for his bots. I see @annahenriart RT here under a different name. I have never used character bots and I don't know what to do in this situation, there is no way to even contact this person. Therefore, the only thing you can do here is to complain about the account, indicating in the comments that it uses someone else's OС without permission (and someone else's art). Honestly, this upset me.

Kaemar seems (based on what you've told me about) to have spent some time as a Harlequin? can you tell me a bit about that?

Sorry for the long reply, Mird, irl has made me completely exhausted 😭 So, about questions!!

1) Jael is actually hella jealous. She doesn't realize that about her because she is generally not in touch with her emotions, but she can be extremely possessive and clingy because of that. The second thing – she can (and aften is) extremely biased and unwilling to make concessions, which is ironic because she considers herself to be a very intelligent and objective person.

2) The first successes on the battlefield. As a child, he often thought of himself as a failure, and when he first realized that despite his shortcomings in the subtle games of the mind, he excelled in battle, he felt pleased and almost at peace.

3) He is, in fact, a Harlequin still! Currently, I'm reworking some details about his life as Harlequin (especially not sure if i want see him as death jester or troupe master), but at some point, he simply disappeared from his chambers in Commorragh after some disagreement with higher atchonts to join the ranks of the Cegorach's warriors. Kaemar belongs to Masque of the Twisted Path and changes the galaxy in a way known only to his troupe. However, his main motivation has always been more sentimental – to force his kin to break out of their stagnation in race for mysteries, justice, and power and become the masters of the galaxy once again.
