That moment when you get a really cool idea for a multichapter fic, but it fits in better at a point you've already past, so you have to rearrange and edit some chapters too fit it in because it is too good...

Oh, I actually have some knowledge on this kinda stuff!

In some manga, stuff like shading/texturing (the kind that you see on the tunics, for example) is actually done by someone else and not the artists!

I remember this because I read some behind the scenes notes on another manga where the artist made a joke about forcing their editor to do a huge chunk of the work because a villain's powers manifested as darkness - their editor had to work around their drawings while they didn't have to figure out how to draw the villain's powers.

Blue and Vio have similar poses here, so I'm guessing that whoever was in charge of the textures just mixed them up. In fact, this might be why they go from all of them having black sleeves to only Green having black sleeves.

OK I'm more than likely overthinking this but it's starting to bug me.

Like, I redrew this panel so sure it was the first option, but that was before I had properly reread the manga. I had no doubts that was the order because of their body language and faces.

But the tunics?? It's established immediately after the four sword is pulled.

Vio has the TV static, red and green have the solid colouring with red being darker and green having black sleeves (at least he's the only one to have them consistently) and blue has a gradient.

And this is consistent throughout the manga.

Im more than sure blue is first and I know there are inconsistencies here and there but I'm terrible for overthinking and just want to know if I just straight up coloured the characters wrong??

I'm taking this as permission to write as much lesbian maidens as I can.

Tragic that the maidens never really got expanded upon in the manga, since they could have been really cool and interesting characters...

However, extremely fun that I can give the maidens whatever personalities I want and ship them together, and no one can stop me because there is nothing in canon that goes against it!

I really hope the Vidow community is okay with a bit of spamming, because I cannot stop thinking of ideas for Vidow fics, so I am gonna be writing a lot of them...

Drawn to Shadows - Chapter Two

In the chapter, Vio gets introduced to his new base of operations as a villain, trying to keep up appearances as a fake defector.

And Shadow is trying to see how much physical contact he can get without asking for affection, because he's touch-starved.

Shadow is discouraged from coming to Queen Zelda's Royal Birthday Celebration due to his history as a monster terrorizing the Kingdom of Hyrule. Needless to say, Shadow was going to find a way to sneak in.

A oneshot for the sake of pride month! Shadow and Vio getting to be cute at a ball! With some mischief from Shadow, of course.

Drawn to Shadows - Chapter One

Vio makes an impulsive decision in that forest, but it was the only choice really offered to him. He had to fake joining the side of his enemies. He didn't expect anything easy when he did it, he knew exactly how dangerous it could be. His life was in danger every second he spent in the company of his enemies. At least, that was what he thought at first. The longer he spent by Shadow's side, the more difficult it was to commit to his plans.
