Blizzard employees are organizing a walkout this Wednesday (July 28, 2021) to protest the company’s absolute shit response to the sexual harassment lawsuit. If you’re still playing Activision/Blizzard games, tomorrow would be a good day to show solidarity with Blizzard workers by not playing those games. Don’t cross the digital picket line!! No WoW. No Call of Duty. No Overwatch. Bring Blizzard and Activision’s online engagement down and boost the hashtag #actiblizzwalkout
remembering when i could turn on the wifi switch on my 3ds and id be connected to the internet and be able to play animal crossing new leaf w friends. now i have to pay a subscription to use the internet that my switch is already connected to
I feel like DDLC posts do not touch enough on the unreality in the game. they warn people struggling with depression or anxiety but not psychosis.
DDLC is getting a switch release, it is 17+ and the warnings are serious. there is not only overarching themes of suicide, parental abuse, panic attacks, extreme jealousy and depression, but there are also large unavoidable themes of unreality and paranoia inducing themes, like realistic eye graphics against the animated graphics, glitching, jumpscares, themes of the characters in the game having 'actual feelings' and being able to 'sense you behind the screen', unreality of NOTHING being real, in turn, and themes of being watched by technology . there is also a scene that can trigger emetophobia, a scene where a character obsessively says she is going to touch herself to the thought of the player, and one randomly occuring scene where a characters eyes pop out
someone likely already said it but the itch bundle for Palestine is ending in like 2 days and theyre only abt half their goal
if you wanna support a rly good cause and get 1k games, tools and other fun goodies i highly recommend it. i got gifted it myself, and if uve already bought it i 100% suggest buying it as gifts for friends esp since many of these games wont require a super powerful PC, and that could be good summer fun for someone who maybe cant otherwise get it
The Indie Bundle for Palestinian Aid is live and it includes over a thousand incredible games for $5 (donating more is encouraged)! 100% of the profits will be donated to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency.
Get the bundle here: https://itch.io/b/902/indie-bundle-for-palestinian-aid and help us spread the word ♥!
The farmer in sdv should be allowed to have a birthday too. Why do i have to go around figuring out what everyone's favorite gifts are?? Maybe the townsfolk should be the ones chasing me once a year and giving me the weirdest shit. I should be allowed to react accordingly too. Mayor lewis gives me a piece of wood and i deck him. Leah gives me coffee and i kiss her on the lips.
