ZELDA 6/10 classic little guy but kinda bland, also the full body robe with the aaaalmost pointy hat just :/ but he gets points for his tiny lil eyes

A LINK TO THE PAST 6/10 i love their little hats, they look like final fantasy black mages. i like that their beams look like boomerangs but they also killed me too many times and we got beef

ORACLES 7/10 tiny robe hands make them look like a lil mario enemy. i think we could be friends. i'd give them pets if they stopped KILLING ME

FOUR SWORDS/MC 7/10 absolutely love their funky sleeves, screams wizard, i like that they look like they got beards and they go BWAAHH to do spells

MAJORA'S MASK 2/10 horrible scary i hate them why are they just old men why is their robe just below their bingus, why they got pits out, why do they look like they wanna hit me with a stick instead of cast spells

WIND WAKER 11/10 THESE GUYS SLAP LETS GOOOO fuckin toucan wizard???? literally the most fun design and he wins first prize for coolest robes hands DOWN dude. forgiven for their crimes

PHANTOM HOURGLASS 6/10 points for being Unique, i like their weird eyes but they don't scream Wizard. why the scythe? that's for when the spells don't work

Zelda II: The Adventure of Link - The Blood Curse

This comic had been in the back-burner for over a year, and I have finally got to working on it during the past month. It just so happens to be on theme for Halloween, too. So it is a fitting time to share it.

PS. This is part of a larger script I have written in an attempt to dramatize the full zelda 2 plot. This was a scene I often daydreamed about since it was a crucial moment in Link's character development. This is the point in his adventure where he loses his love for adventure and discovery. He can no longer take indulgent risks. Any danger befalling him can result in the destruction of Hyrule. Link's internal struggles and the concept of him being the saviour of Hyrule on one hand, and the destroyer of Hyrule on the other, leads to the conception of Dark Link.

Perhaps one day I'll delve into that topic and make a short comic about it. One day.
