hello, hi, hey! it’s nana here with a small announcement, as soon as it was okay-ed by the mods!

since hyuna got an offer to be part of k.arma and she took the opportunity, i have decided to move blogs! all of you should have seen that a new @hyunark has followed you and i will be moving there as soon as the new activity check goes live (08.01.20!!). there is no BIG reason for this, i just think a new fresh start will be needed. i do not want to delete this blog, so i have renamed it to hyunarkarchive. after all, i nearly have 5 years of work into this blog and i most likely will need to reference stuff for the future!!

you should see me in a crown

You’re pulled away from your morning vocal practice on January 1st by one of your usual coaches. She takes you from everyone else and onto the higher floors of the building. After a quick stop to notify who you are to the secretary, the coach tells you to go inside a room you already know. Inside your boss’s office, you find him, Hyun Bin, and two other people. One is the lawyer who was with you when you signed your contract. The other you’re not really sure.

“Please, sit down.” He says with a serious expression and motions towards the empty chair in front of him. Once you do, he looks over to the man you don’t recognize. “This here is Mr. Han, one of TRC Entertainment’s representatives who got in contact with us recently.” He gives you a nod of the head before Hyun Bin continues. “Before we proceed, I’d just like to say that what we’ll share in this room is extremely confidential, and we’re trusting in you not to share anything that’s said here to anyone else until you’re instructed otherwise.” 

With a look at Mr. Han’s direction, it is time for him to speak. “You must know now that K.ARMA recently lost one of their members, Sana. Hyuna, we’ve checked your profile and are well aware of your abilities. After discussing matters with Mr. Hyun Bin, we have decided to offer you the lead rapper spot in our girl group. This means you’d have to break your contract with Nova and make a transfer to TRC.”

Hyun Bin leans forward, bringing the attention back to him. “You didn’t spend a lot of time under our company, but if you didn’t have the potential, these people wouldn’t have chosen you. And I wouldn’t have let you go if this wouldn’t be of your benefit.” He gives you a nod before the lawyer places a small stack of papers in front of you. “These here are the forms we’d need to sign to make your transfer possible. But, of course, this may be a lot for you to unload right away. If you’d like to take some time to think about it, you may, but please give us a reply by the end of tomorrow and remember not to mention any of these details to anyone.” The CEO finishes by placing a gorgeous pen on top of the files. “Please, consider it well.”

it is the last thing hyuna expects to happen to her. right at the start of the new year, it so happens that she is taken away from practice and lead to a room she didn’t think she’d step in for a long long time. and unfortunately, all the bad things crash on her at the same time. she knows very well who is waiting for her behind the doors and it’s already unsettling.

we’re they cancelling her contract?

with a rather uneasy expression, she bows politely to the people in the room, including hyun bin and sits in the empty chair. to say that hyuna was thankful for how quickly everything went down was an understatement. she was grateful any questions that were in her head were cleared without her thinking much of it. there is an obvious drop of her shoulders as she continues to listen to what the trc representative, mr han had to say, nodding every now and again to show she was listening.

to some extend, hyuna was buzzing to get out of nova as soon as possible, there wasn't anything else that really mattered. well, there was the fact that it was trc asking her to debut straight away, so how could she say no? wasn’t this the company she had been aiming for for so long? maybe this was the second decision under nova she would make, and never regret.

with a small smile, she reaches for the pretty pen her boss had placed on top of the little stack of papers, before shifting forward and reading through the contract. it doesn’t take her long to read through them, they’re not as much as she expected and it’s getting harder and harder to hold back her smile.

this was actually happening?

“i have already made up my mind.” hyuna say as she picks the pen again and signs on every places its needed to be. with one last glance over the pages, she picks the stack up and slides it over to hyun bin’s side of the desk. “thank you for your time and resources spend on me, i will work hard to not disappoint either company.” with that she stands up and bows to the staff and hyunbin.

 OOC: Congratulations on being offered a spot at debut! By signing the contract, Hyuna will officialize her transfer from Nova to TRC Entertainment and start her preparations for debut under the girl group K.ARMA. Should she not sign the contract, this will not impact her negatively, and she may return to practicing as a regular trainee under Nova. Hyuna is to keep her real reasons for transferring a secret until her position is revealed to the public.

this was always exciting, to go and see cats and be able to play with them for a bit and find out the best cat with the best chemistry for you. even if hyuna had gotten all of her four from breeders, she was lucky all of them were getting along together. even tho they are all in different ages, it always warmed her heart when she came back home after a long day of training and saw them curled up on her couch or bed.

“yup, all ready!“ she says, bowing her head politely at bambam who opened the door to her, before fixing her backpack on her shoulders. “sounds like a good plan, do you know what you’re looking for?“ hyuna asks and turns around to look at him with raised brows “ah, who do you mean? the cats or the shelter staff?“

today was the day and bambam had been looking forward to it, finally a day for him to go find his pets. it felt like it took forever to get to this point but right now, he was sure that it was the right time. bambam didn’t have a clue as to how his life would be like from this point on but having pets, was a big step he was ready to make and one he would take with hyuna, who he waited for by the front doors of the company.

“hey, you ready?” he pushed open the door for her. “i looked into a few shelters but hopefully, we’ll get lucky with the first one. i also already bought a bunch of stuff.” a lot of it was in the car and the rest at his house, but he wanted to be prepared. “i’m still nervous, i don’t know if they’ll like me.”

the nickname makes him snarl his tongue but it finally gets him to move towards her. before he manages to free himself off crumbs and get over to her however she’s already back by his side, handing him a shot glass. arm on the back of the sofa still he leans over, raising a brow at his nuna. “calling me bunny like that… I’m not a cute, reckless kid anymore, nuna. you know that though, right?” 

a cheshire grin widening across his lips he tips his head back to down the shot, adam apple bobbing with the motion of him swallowing the liquid in one solid go. 

a hearty sigh leaving his lips, he puts the glass back onto the table with exaggerated force, shaking his head to get rid of the slight burn in his throat. “even though in terms of alcohol I doubt i’ll be a match for you no matter my level of maturity.” 

at the way jungkook was trying to act all hardcore and manly was more than enough to make her giggle, head shaking “aww, bunny, you’re acting so cute, you words are even cuter.” she says in a sing song voice. once he takes the shot she places her own glass on the table and lightly slaps his hand “be careful, its a glass table.” she mutters, fake glaring at him.

once that was done hyuna makes herself comfortable on the ground in front of jungkook, lips pressed into a pout at his comment “what? you calling me an alcoholic? that is a rude, rude thing to say to me, bunny.” she says with a huff, leaning forward just enough and reaching to purposefully mess up his hair with her hand.

this is what she missed, someone to mess about with and have fun with her, it wasn’t everyday someone agreed to drink with her until one of them was on the boarderline of passing out or doing something stupid. this was really what hyuna needed and missed in her life.

yongsun wasn’t entirely sure about how everything would play out for her own future– she didn’t know anything about the concept that and*roma would debut with but the boys had been impressive enough for her. though if she had to admit, she hadn’t really paid too much attention to it.

yongsun had been busy but she wanted to be able to check things out before the year was over, that way she could congratulate all the boys and girls from nova wholeheartedly.

the singer walked up to the other female, a small smile on her lips– “what should i call you hyuna-ssi instead?” she teased the female, they had both been in the super nova project– she hadn’t felt too close with hyuna before but after that– maybe it was because she wasn’t debuting, but yongsun couldn’t help but feel a little closer to the other.

“what are you up to?”

per_se, in hyuna’s humble opinion, was miles in front of and*roma, in terms of concept and songs. that was the main reason why the rapper stepped down from wanting to even continues with nova’s girl group, however, it didn’t take long before two of their members dropped. how funny had life gotten all of a sudden.

hyuna fake gags at the suggestion and waves yongsun off. “hyuna is good, didn’t we go over this?” she asks, brows raised a grin pulling on her lips. oh, did she miss these conversations. at the question about what she was up to, she shrugs, reaching for her water bottle and taking a slow long sip. so so much.

“hmm. making music recently and working on my dancing.“ the rapper finally says, shrugging a bit and placing the water bottle back on the table “what about you hun? enjoying life?“

✩ nova evaluation 12 hours busking stats; gloomy day

on the day they have to perform she didn’t expect much. people would be walking by them, some wouldstop, others would just keep going without even a glance. it didn’t bother her, her ego had taken so much hits that it didn’t matter at this point. all hyuna had to do was go with the songs and match her expressions to it. so it wasn’t that bad of a day really.

it was just long, long and draining to some extend. there was never really a chance to take a break. quick few minutes to drink some water and off to give out stuff to the people. she hadn’t picked a good outfit for when they weren’t dancing, it would get quite cold, denim on denim.. however, hyuna knew she would overheat if she had put anything else on. she was also mostly worried about getting the flu and having to deal with it for ages. she also didn’t want to give it to younghyun. it made her sigh.

so every single time they went inside the tent, she’d take either vitamin c or some paracetamol, in order to try and get everything sorted and she wouldn’t have fevers and regrets later. it was only heat packs that they had to give out, but after the seventh hour, hyuna could feel that it was getting tiresome to keep a smile up, yet she tried her best. afterall, they were halfway there. there was no way she could give up on holding a facade that easily.

it was only a matter of making the next five hours fun and exciting, and finding the nice things about this.. torture nova was putting them through in order to make them pass quicker. so she did that, she focused on her dancing more than she usually does, it was an easy way to take her mind off thinking about how much more they had left. it would end soon, right? she would go home and have aboiling hot bath and cuddle up with her cats, right?

just five more hours to go.

✩ nova evaluation 12 hours busking, preparations stats; heavy thoughts

this wasn’t something hyuna was scared or worried about. it wasn’t going to be the first time she ever danced for so many hours in public. however, this year the companies had taken it upon themselves to make it hell.

usually, the summer times people would be passing out from the heat, this time everyone was more than aware they would be coming back with the flu. that is if they were lucky, some might get injured if it started pouring, a quick flashback of convex dancing in the rain almost a year ago. however, at the end of the day, hyuna had nothing to moan or whine about, it is what it is, and she planned on dancing through all those 12 hours. if she didn’t manage to, she would genuinely would be disappointed in herself.

there was a nagging voice at the back of her head, getting louder and louder the more she listened to and*roma’s debut song. not sure what exactly it wanted from her, she just moved forward. she had two more dances to learn, and myname wasn’t an easy one. afterall, they all had only a week to dwell on a dance in lessons. sometimes, a week wasn’t enough for her to get over a feeling, and it would come to bite her in the ass soon.

even then, even with listening to pepe so many times in a week, she did come to a very serious conclusion: kim hyuna does not regret dropping out from and*roma.

it wasn’t everyday that hyuna got to spend it back at her place with someone she held dear. sure, she had friends come over, she had trainees as well, kept each other company, but never younghyun. she doesn’t remember when was the last time he came to see her. it was usually her that went to all his gigs, went to his small apartment and messed about with him and his equipment. so this was different already,

it was a quiet night, she had made a meal for them, brought out the alcohol from her booze cupboard and let younghyun pick whatever he wanted to. she opted for wine as well. it was a quiet and relaxing night, she had already put some music on the stereo. there was glass of red liquid in her hand and one of the cats in her embrace she moves slowly around the space of the large living room. hyuna doesn’t remember feeling this relaxed around someone in a long while, it was enough to physically make her sigh and drop her shoulders. however, younghyun’s voice rings through the space, causing her to open her eyes and look at him.

she wouldn’t say no.

she bends down, enough so the cat can jump out of her arm and with somewhat of a strut the trainee makes her way over to her supposedly boyfriend with a grin. she gently sways with the music in the background as she stands right in front of younghyun, obviously debating where and how to sit down. “talk with you about what? how handsome you are?” hyuna asks, brow raised as she reached run a hand through his hair, grinning at him. with that she makes her decision and sits next to him, pressing up as close as possible to his side and resting her head on his shoulder.

tonight for younghyun feels somewhat foreign. he’s become so used to performing shows back to back that a night off feels out of place. and even on a night where he isn’t performing, he is usually working or doing something to some degree. be it working a bar or waiting tables at his grandparent’s quaint chicken shop on the outskirts of the city. at least tonight has some of the comforts he’s used to, like music and alcohol. and his girlfriend, of course. 

hyuna was his girlfriend, right? younghyun’s never really been one for labels, nor stating how he really feels about things or people in general. he wasn’t one to be upfront about things, unless it was an opinion, then he was usually one to share it. the one thing he openly states he loves are his guitars, music and his grandmother. but nothing else, ever. but it’s not as if he doesn’t care for her, or about her, because he does. immensely. younghyun just can’t tell her that.

at least not yet.

he swaps a glass of wine for a bottle of soju every now and then, which occupies a space on the coffee table, his phone sits by idly beside it. tonight was a night best spent in, in the company of that special girl, talking about whatever their hearts desired. nights like this were so unfamiliar to him ( at least ones spent in company ) that he wasn’t sure as to how to go about it. but he looks across to her from where he lounges on the couch, and there is a look of contentment that says what he can’t. “hey, come over here.” he says softly, coaxing her over. “talk with me.”
