First Ever Studio Monitors!
Tumblr media
Photography isn’t my only hobby, for those who know me closely I’m an EDM (Electronic Dance Music) DJ and Producer. I have been making music for about 3 years now and I have barely gotten to purchase my first ever studio monitors. Studio monitors are an essential key when it comes to producing music. Using $20 speakers from Target won’t be able to bring out all the frequencies of the sounds and certainly doesn’t have the quality that these studio monitors have.
It took me about a solid month to test and decide which monitors I liked and suited my workspace as you can’t just go out and buy whatever monitors are out there. There were a lot of monitors to choose from, many look similar but not all of them are. When it came down to choosing which monitors I’d get it came down between the iLoud Monitors and the Adam Audio Monitors (which I ended up purchasing). I was leaning towards the cloud monitors because of the smaller size with almost the same frequency response and their Bluetooth capability, a first that has happened in the studio tech world which is really neat to see, but in the end, I ended up with the Adam Audio monitors due to its strong frequency response, design, tech specs and the price which was cheaper than the iLoud monitors.

Mobile Photography

After 2 years of owning an iPhone X (first generation), I have grown to appreciate and love photography. I’ve been using my iPhone X for all my photography and there is nothing better than using your everyday smartphone to take marvelous pictures that look like they were shot on a thousand dollar camera.
Although the iPhone X camera does take amazing photographs, editing is sometimes needed to give some extra flavor to it. As phone cameras advance with the release of new models with new stock lenses and newly added features, it will be interesting to see how the photos on new iPhone 11 Pro camera will be with the added Ultrawide, Telephoto and Wide lenses.
