I reccomend acting as you normally would with the person and be yourself! If you already talked to them before, I'd say to do it the same way, whether it is bring flirty or just regularly friendly. The asked you out because of how they found you to be, so no need to change because it is now considered a date.

And of course, the common advice people get, like making sure you look presentable and nice, if you asked the person out, maybe bring a small gift (like flowers or whatever small gesture you know they'd like), etc.

I had my first date a couple if months ago, so this all I know, lol. Sorry if it seems repetitive to what you see elsewhere.

Hi, I noticed that you take questions and I guess I just wanted to be able to get this off my chest to someone and hopefully get just a single response.

For context, I don’t want to go to my friends about crushes or feelings for a while because I got out of a relationship 4 months ago and it still hurts sometimes but I know they are over hearing me talk about it so I don’t want to add more to it and talk about a new person I’m obsessing with because I’m sure it’s annoying.

But anyway, I didn’t want to have feelings for anyone, I just can’t help it. I love the feeling of the butterflies. I really didn’t think I could have feelings this soon but I (F/22) just started a new job and the person who trained me my very first day (M/19) is someone who I literally can’t stop thinking about. I haven’t had it this bad since middle school. I don’t like the idea of dating a coworker and I also don’t know how I feel about liking someone 3 years younger than me but I knew that I thought he was cute the moment I saw him. I’ve had the last 2 days off so I haven’t seen him and it’s making my anxiety skyrocket. Parts of me wants to go over to my job just to see him. It’s gotten so bad in such a short amount of time. Is it bad that I find myself liking someone this quickly? Especially a coworker that’s 3 years younger than me.

So, I don't really know how to define what is bad or not, especially in this type of situations so I don't have a sure answer for you question of If it is bad that your crush has developed this quickly. I know some people can find interest in a person in a very short amount of time, or the called Love at first sight. Maybe that's what happening for you, but I think a couple if days is not too short of a time for this situation since it sounds like you've interacted often with him at thos job.

As for the age gap thing, don't really know how to follow up on that, since it is a very subjective thing and to the person's own taste to know how far their own acceptable age gap for relationships is. I think just looking into that by yourself, thinkin on what differences there are between both your ages, where both of you are at your respective points in life, etc, in order to figure out if it is acceptable for you. Same for the co-worker part of it, since you said you don't like it, then it would be better to think how it affects this crush you have and if you think it is a complete "turn off" from the idea of a possible relationship with him.

And lastly, since you did the training with him, I don't think it would be too out of the blue if you ask him for his junner or social media, but of course also depends how one he is about that type of information or how personal or friendly your relationship is between you two.

Do you have any poetry or art at all that I can cling to bc of a person that's been in my life for almost 10 years, that I've had a crush on for so long? At least 6 years? It's much like that movie "One Day" with Anne Hathaway (hopefully without anyone dying at the end). We don't live close to each other but cling to each other when we feel lost and just click as friends I guess but there's always been more.
