“Boys, boys, you’re both pretty,” Thalassa snorted. “Now play nice or I’m going to get out.”

Both Zak and Valant grumbled, but obliged her. With a smirk Valant ran a hand through his long black hair, ‘accidentally’ swatting Zak behind him.

“Why you!” Zak guffawed, his laugh was always loud and boisterous, Thalassa always commented that it fit him perfectly. “Now you’re going to get it!”

Before Valant could retort, Zak wrapped his arms around the younger man, and dunked him unceremoniously under the water. He flailed as he rose up from the water, soap and water spilled over the bathtub, and it was going to be a bitch to clean up later. Thalassa squealed as Valant’s legs kicked wildly, but she couldn’t resist the urge to splash Zak.

“Alright, move over,” She ordered, sandwiching herself between the men she loved. “You’re going to make a flood or something!”

She settled Valant between her legs, and she rested his head against her chest while she snuggled into Zak’s. She took hold of the shampoo bottle and squirted it into her hands before massaging it into Valant’s scalp.

Dime-sized amount, my ass, she thought.

Zak also massaged shampoo into her hair, his fingers were more coarse and bigger than her own, but the sensation was lovely.

“At least Thalassa has an ass,” Zak said, with a shit-eating grin.

It would've been nice if instead of a love triangle between Thalassa, Zak and Valant where the latter two competed for Thalassa's affections, it instead had Thalassa and Valant compete for Zak's affections.

I really don't understand how "without getting kudos or comments a fanfiction author is going to assume that people who clicked their fic didn't like it" became a controversial take.

I don't know why some people think an author should imagine, or guess that people who click their fic enjoyed it it when nobody is telling them that.

If you're re-reading a fic constantly, or leaving it up in your tab so that it re-loads every day for a hundred days the author is not going to know that unless you tell them. They'd love to hear it. It would make their day.

And if you don't tell them you liked their fic, there's no reason for them to assume you did.
