CV TEMPLATES FOR ALL!
A lot of my teacher friends have recently wanted a new CV, as a lot of the courses they where teaching have changed, which is when I stumbled upon this fantastic little website. It has hundreds of free CVs, which allow for, as the kids would say, new and hip look for any CV. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Briksdalsbreen glacier
The mother glacier (Jostedalsbreen, the largest in continental Europe) lies behind the ridge of rock over which the arm (one of 50) known by this tongue twisting name flows in its downhill journey to a small melt water lake. Located in Norway’s Jostedalsbreen National Park, it has been oscillating back and forth for a century, alternately advancing and retreating, following the vagaries of temperature and precipitation patterns. The region sees very high snowfalls, making this glacier one of the few to actually advance on occasion, though it is currently in retreat.

A great idea, I might try this with my kids too!

Every morning at the Lone Tree Elementary in Lone Tree, Iowa, pupils line-up and then choose a greeting from a chart a hug, handshake, or a fist bump.
Next the classes’ nominated morning greeter will give them the greeting they desire.

Now that’s a lovely way to encourage friendship and community while allowing everyone to set their personal boundaries. Man, it’s always good to be reminded of how many people are actually amazing - how they care about others and just try to leave the world a bit better than they found it.
