Ahhh, there has been so many gigs that I've wanted to go to but had no one to go with. I've always been too scared to go on my own, what is it like going on your own??

That’s exactly the reason I started going to gigs by myself lol

Honestly it’s not scary at all! And thats coming from someone with major anxiety 🙃 when I started going to gigs by myself I used to get there pretty near the stage time of whoever I was seeing comes out because the worst part of going by yourself if you’re anxious is like waiting around, but before covid I used to go see the support bands too and have a few beers because I actually liked the experience of just going to gigs by myself - it’s weirdly therapeutic for me! I always manage to make gig friends too!

I’ve only ever gone to gigs by myself in small venues tho, I’ve only been to an arena once by myself but it was actually so good!! and I’ll be seeing Sam fender on his arena tour next year by myself. I just think some bands/artists are really good to see on your own and appreciate and some you need your mates for just to go mental 🤷🏻‍♀️
