I wanted to put together a comprehensive timeline for Jonathan in my mainverse. This is heavily headcanon based and very much intertwined with @healthycarrier‘s own canon.

1918 // The events of the game take place. Jonathan is turned and tasked with curing a vampire epidemic in the city of London. Falls in love with fellow vampire Elisabeth Ashbury over the next couple months.

1919 - 1923 // Jonathan and Elisabeth remain in Scotland and finish renovating the Ashbury estate. All the while Jonathan works on finding a cure for the blood of hate.

1923 // Emelyne Reid dies. Jonathan and Elisabeth return to London to organize her funeral. She is buried in the family plot along side his sister Mary and the grave marker Jonathan eventually purchases for his father.

1923 - 1924 // Jonathan uses his inherited fortune to convert the Reid manor into a home for women and children.

1925 - 1937 // Jonathan and Elisabeth travel to Galena, Illinois and purchase an estate in the countryside. Jonathan returns to work as a doctor in the small town. Makes progress in discovering a cure for Elisabeth’s illness.

1938 // Elisabeth and Jonathan move to France to continue their research in the blood of hate.

1939 // WWII begins.

1940 - 1942 // Paris is occupied by the N.azis. Jonathan joins the French resistance and begins operating as a doctor for escape networks and participating in guerrilla warfare activities against German soldiers over the course of the next four years.

1942 -1945 // Jonathan successfully synthesizes a cure for the blood of hate, later begins to feed regularly on N.azis, smudging his pacifistic line in the sand.

1946 - 1966 // Jonathan and Elisabeth have a falling out, resulting in their separation. Jonathan attempts to return to his work as a doctor after the War but finds his personal restraint too tempted after feeding on humans for so long. He abandons his practice and begins to travel across Europe, selecting his victims from those he deems morally unsound. Jonathan’s mental state suffers from the constant violence and solitude and he finds his way to Houston, Texas.

1966 - 1972 // Jonathan meets Velvet Varela and subsequently saves one of her human workers at her blood den, Club Sangre. In exchange, Velvet offers to help him renew his medical license and transition back from feeding on humans. He performs emergency transfusions at her club for the next six years before she sends him on his way.

1972 - 1976 // Jonathan remains in America working as a locum tenens physician until moving back to London in the 80s.

1976 // Jonathan and Elisabeth are reunited in London and make amends. During this time, Elisabeth’s progeny, Jacob Blackwood, assumes control of the Ascalon Club, a vampire-run council that now has a seat in Parliament. The former head, Lord Redgrave is murdered under suspicious circumstances and Jonathan is targeted as a main suspect. 

1976 -1982 // Jonathan remains a fugitive in London, assisting Elisabeth in overthrowing Blackwood, whose plans include unionizing vampires internationally and infiltrating their respective governments for high-ranking positions. Blackwood is slain at the end of ‘82.

1982 - 2019 // Jonathan returns to his work as a pathologist and a blood transfusion specialist at local donor centers using his newfound connections at Ascalon.
