Siren’s song (intro headcanons)

A new vampire moves in Forks and decides to change the narrative.

This is so self indulgent: reader is gender neutral, reader is a newborn vampire and owns a cat (mentioned once as Tina), is reader a bit of Mary sue/Garry Stu ? Maybe, it’s not very long but I wanted to post something before I had to concentrate on my final exams.

Siren’s song: A powerful ability that can charm any creature as well as nature (human, Vampire, werewolf, animals, plants) by singing. It is able to 'breath life' into things.

* At the same time Bella had to move to Forks, a new vampire appeared out of nowhere.

* The shapeshifters were furious and the Cullens had no idea how to approach you.

* On one hand, you were on their territory, as well as the wolves, surrounded by vulnerable humans.

* On the other, you literally moved in. Bought a house, lived in it, and haven’t proved agressive in any way.

* Alice had visions of you and Edward getting along, but he had no intentions of getting involved in this mess.

* But then you showed up at their high school.

* Since you and Bella were both the « new kids », you were able to bond pretty easily and become friends.

* She, of course, asked questions about you: Why were your eyes red? Why were you so cold? Why did you avoid sunlight.

* You pinned it all on a mysterious illness and Bella felt embarrassed about asking, but you assured her that she was allowed to ask questions.

* You became a bit of a duo, hanging out at the cafeteria, bookstores and even taking walks through the forest.

* And that’s when you started to feel followed.

* One look at your eyes made the Cullens understand that you were a newborn, and potentially very dangerous.

* Though, you seemed to have a lot of control over your thirst. Having no issues being around a lot of humans at once, let alone having the occasional physical contact with Bella.

* Today, Edward and Rosalie were tasked with following you around the woods. You were on their territory after all.

* Edward started to feel some sort of admiration for you. You felt so… human still. You were a loner, but seemed approachable.

* He could hear your thoughts clearly:

* « I hope there’s a big animal nearby. »

* « Should I buy Bella a friendship gift ? »

* « I need to get more food for Tina. »

* « Someone’s following me. »

* Edward had to grab and hold back Rose to keep her from getting spotted by you. She mentally cursed him off and both of them waited for you resume your hunt.

* But then, everything became blurry.

* They both remembered a voice, and woke up to two dead deers in the middle of the clearing, with you nowhere to be seen.
