Khan nodded. "I'm trying, Kalel. It's difficult to make the others understand. Not everyone can fully understand why we need things like that, to them we're still human, if with an injected monster."

(( Calm )) Khan knew when the members of his crew were upset. It was apparent to the one who had seen them all through the process. He carefully made his way to her, hands folded behind his back before he reached her and placed one on her shoulder. "Is it something you need to talk about?"

Khan's hand on her shoulder caused the Augment to tense for only a moment before relaxing. "I-I'm angry.... At everyone. Everywhere we go, they shun and beat us. I'm angry because no one will accept us, and you won't accept anyone else." A hand ran through her black strands and clutched around them, tugging with frustration. "Where do we belong, Khan?"

"Lieutenant Sulu.." Kalel approached the man, wiping oil covered fingers on the front of her coveralls. “What brings you to the bowels of the Enterprise?" She had been replacing the transition tube in one of the pods. This one had been quite beaten up in the captain’s last little surprise side quest, and the tube was the least of the repairs.
