Jung Daehan Confirmed To Star As Villain In New Film “VIP”

Utopia’s Leader and man vocalist, Hans (real name Jung Daehan) confirmed to appear in VIP, an action film that depicts the story of a North Korean official’s son, who commits a series of murders as he travels the world, resulting in a pursuit from both Koreas as well as Interpol. 

Jung Daehan is set to star as the role of the official’s son Kwang Il, and will be transforming into a villain for the movie. The actor has been known for many other popular dramas including “School Series” and “Underneath Hell” This will be his second film since his debut and  will be his firstfirst role as a villain. 

VIP is scheduled to start filming by the end of September, and will premier early 2018.

Description:

After the constant scandals and rumors the boys have undergone, they have decided to come back strong as one (member Jihwan although not present but there supporting on the sidelines) with a full length album titled, “Why So Serious?”. This will be the group’s first comeback under the company they have founded, Phantasia Entertainment.

The idol group has decided to go for a Suicide Squad theme this time around. The music within the album holds elements of rock while still keeping the elements that created Utopia with their House genre and Modern Orchestral Pop music. Aside from their title track, “Why So Serious”, the group has another promotional song which was revealed to be the prologue to their comeback earlier in the year with this prologue titled as, “Showtime pt.2”. The entire album was worked on two producing groups, the first Toamna famous for rock genres and the second Theros who has worked with Utopia in the past.

UTOPIA Reveals Highlight Medley of 3rd Full Album “Why So Serious?

With the many absences of several members, as well as the different scandals going on, from the beginning of the year to now many fans were worried that Utopia would not be able to make a comeback with all their members. As the teasers for each member came out, fans were reassured that this comeback would feature all the members except for one, sadly.

The photo teasers struck a concept of being comic related and then was later revealed that Utopia has decided to go along with a concept similar to the famous Suicide Squad. The highlight medley of this album contains rock related genres as well as other genres such as house, edm, and furthermore.

“Why So Serious?” has already been predicted to be placed as an all kill on the charts with it’s outstanding sound, leaving fans wondering what the choreography will be like as well as the live performance. The over all album, although it’s a different genre to tackle, still stays within the Utopia color. “Showtime pt.2” as the name itself says, is a prologue to the idol group’s title track “Showtime” that took place in the beginning of the year. There is only a few days left to the release of “Why So Serious?” so keep an eye out for more of Utopia.

UTOPIA Drops Music Video Teaser For“Why So Serious?”

After the constant teasing of concept photos for the male idol group’s comeback, Utopia has finally dropped a music video teaser for their title track, “Why So Serious?”.

From the looks of this teaser, the boys have definitely gone for the feel of their inspiration of the concept, Suicide Squad, with their bad boy looks and criminal like acts. The song itself sports a very rock sound, again, fitting for their concept style this time around.

Although fans were worried about this not being a full cast comeback, although it isn’t, just about all of the members have decided to participate and has reassured fans that they have all worked hard on this long awaited comeback and will promote with all members as soon as possible. There isn’t much time left before the final reveal of Utopia’s “Why So Serious?” so make sure to keep an eye out for more.

Doublekill has finally relased the mini album for the upcoming duo BLUSH. They duo consists of soloists Gu Areum and Wang-Mori Kimiko. The two have been successful in their solo ventures that 2K has decided to team the two together and with them being close friends it seems as if there was no issues with forming the duo.The album mainly consits of upbeat summer beats minus the second title track hich hopeully will allow for not only the main two songs to do well. Keeping with the group’s name the tracks all revolve around being young and free while keeping true to who the girls are.

Jung Daehan ends promotion by releasing a farewell video of ‘Seasons’

Rookie soloist Jung Daehan (also known as Hans of Utopia) concluded his stage promotions for his debut EP album “Dedication” by releasing a live performance video of his title track “Seasons” on Double Kill Entertainment’s official Youtube channel. 

In the video, Daehan marks the center stage, fashioned with a simple back and white attire, and accompanied by a live band. He also thanked all the people, friends and fans who supported his solo album, and wished for continues love for Utopia’s upcoming projects.

There’s a deep frown that sank on the male idol’s forehead upon realizing that his friend paid no attention to him. He called him, like how many times - with his loud, eager voice, albeit still no avail. He stood beside him at first, then step in front of the youtuber in hopes to be recognize at least. However, he seems to be more interested in music than him meeting an old friend. Daehan invited his hands to unplugged one of his earphones, and uttered. “Earth calling David...”

☆ ┇It was a beautiful sunny afternoon, david was sitting on a bench, in his dark outfit, he didn’t wear colorful clothes often so he was quite easy to spout among the crowd. He was waiting for a bus to arrive so he could go to the Gangnam area to get a little shopping done. While he was waiting, he enjoyed some music from his phone, keeping the volume on his headphones rather high so he didn’t need to speak to anyone around him. Of course, not far away a old friend of his were calling his name, but David didn’t pay attention since he couldn’t hear the male that were calling for him.

She was left with a wide smile, everyone was cheering on him, the stage went perfectly and happiness was obvious on his face, which was the most important in that moment. Areum took a few steps away from the messy crowd, taking her phone out the woman grinned as she read the message. “It’s an oogly hamster, I’m not good at drawing -3- on my way!” Fingers quickly typing, it was a matter of short seconds until she was close to reach the waiting room, heart pouncing a little for some unknown reason to her. Maybe it was the lingering excitement for how good he did, maybe it was something else.

Just before she’d cross the waiting room’s entrance, checked herself on the closest surface she could see her reflection, held the little gift box and the banner close and smiled once more. Hand reaching to knock on the door twice and she waited to hear his voice allowing her to enter. The sound of it automatically provoking her to giggle discreetly and she entered the room with energy. “Annyeo-.” Energy that would quickly vanish as her eyes scanned the inside of the room.

He was there, as expected looking good and happy. Something that was supposed to be enough for her to keep her good mood, however, the other presence made it nearly impossible for her to keep her smile. Standing there for a second, Areum bowed formally to the other woman and greeted her, mind storming through sudden conclusions and asking herself why would we tell her to come if he was, again, with that woman. After the stage, it would make sense they wouldn’t hang out anymore, yet she was there.

. “Excuse me, I… gotta go.” Before leaving through the door, her eyes took a brief glance at him, confusion and frustration mirrored on her expression. Her hands felt weak and accidentally dropped the banner and stopped, debating if she should go back for it but feeling too ashamed to go back.Damn it Areum. She kept repeating. It was idiotic, nonsense yet it was a reaction she couldn’t feel from. A million thoughts crossed her mind, all of them directing to an idea she hated: there was more to it than work.

the small waiting room instantly filled with daehan’s laughter as he read the text message over and over again whilst in queue for his friend’s arrival. he is eager, and very much excited when he saw that pretty face in the crowd, and the thumping of his chest is a living proof of that. just when he thought areum arrives, daehan instantly pluck from his chair only to find his female friend standing beside the door. she knocked twice to call his attention, which daehan returned with a smile.

“you’re here.” he said, calm as he invited the woman in. again, he thanked her from taking time to be in his debut stage, as well as to be part of his music video. whilst the female actress brushed off and stated it is her honor to worked with him. they were in a casual, short conversation when areum entere the room. daehan catch the excitement shimmering her eyes, and the transition to coldness when she saw them.

clueless at first, daehan is in queue to greet her warmly, perhaps with a hug or a messy tease on her hair, but she instantly run away. dumbfounded, the two of them including the actress. “what’s wrong with her?” she asked, but daehan could only respond none words.

he excused his clueless self to run out. he picked the banner she possibly made with a wave of excitement. “what’s wrong with her?” he too asked himself. did she had sudden headache? does she feel sick? he asked over and over again until she discovered her by the end of the hallway.

“areum!” he called her name out, regardless of the prying eyes that passed by them. “hey wait up!” he chimed again, finally gaining the courage to grab her by the waist. “why are you running away?”

“i think calling the electrician is better oppa…” she hummed out her gaze a bit worrying. neither of them knew how to fix the device and hyesu didn’t want either of them to be getting hurt, especially her older brother since he was busy with his solo activities, “and going to halabeoji’s would be better… and appa wouldn’t get mad at us for going there instead of trying to fix this…” she commented with a nod of her head.

releasing both arms in the air as a sign of surrender, daehan echoed a soft exhale. “I officially give up.” although saying that hurt his man pride a little bit, he had to accept that there’s some things that he cannot do, yet. daehan made a mental not to learn plumbing and electric stuffs. “I’ll call grandpa, then help me prepare some food for him.”
