A Dutch silver bracelet from Utrecht, 1818.  The hallmarks are a lion with the number 2.  This is the 2nd standard of silver purity: 833.  The Minerva with the letter B which indicates Utrecht assay office.  The makers mark are either JVP or IVT.  The inside is engraved with the letters SLB.  Length 16.5cm.

Superbly made Britannia silver whisky tumbler cups with gilt interiors in Georgian style in two sizes 4.6 ozs troy (6.3cms diam.) at £485 and 6.85ozs. troy (7.7cms. diam.) at £625 Exhibition hallmarks: Edinburgh 2018. This month Iain Marr gave two lectures. One was at Culloden House Hotel to St Jame’s Place Wealth Management. The lecture was titled “Are antiques an investment?” The other was in the Grant Arms Hotel to the Grantown-on-Spey branch of the University of the Third Age (U3A) this lecture was titled “My experinces of the last 44 years in Antique dealing.”
