If we surveyed all of the 7.125 billion people living in the world today I can almost guarantee that each and every one of them (Including you and I) are aspiring for something greater in life. Whether its the baby wanting that next bottle, the kid who wants more junk food, or the adult who is looking for love and/or a greater career….. Whatever the goal or aspiration, it is IMPOSSIBLE to attain any of it if you don’t take the first step! I don’t care if you are the most talented, and most skillful being on the planet, if you are not putting yourself out there then you will NEVER be successful! What we need to realize sooner rather than later is that success is a process! It doesn’t happen at a blink of an eye and there isn’t one big thing that makes someone successful! Success is the result of small steps put together over time to create a greater piece! A friend once told me that “It takes at least 10 years to become an overnight success.” Think about that for just one second and once you truly understand that saying, you will then understand why it is imperative that you begin your journey TODAY!!! Happy Thursday my Talented and Tenacious! Welcome to a new day! Today’s Daily Word is dedicated to getting out of your comfort zone! Every morning as I get myself ready for the day, I always listen to some type of inspirational music to pump me up… One of my new favorites is “Go Get It” by Mary Mary. In the song, one of the Mary’s is heard saying…. It’s alright to crawl before you walk, it’s alright to walk before you run, but if you wanna get what you never got, gotta do something that you never done… This line resonates with me every-time I hear it because its the absolute truth! If you keep doing what you’ve always done, you’ll keep getting what you’ve always gotten! The only way to live the life you truly want to live is to get comfortable being uncomfortable! Stop Thinking and Living in the Box! The box is about standard, mediocrity, normal, regular!! Get out of that box and live beyond in the land of extraordinary…. Glorious Monday my creatures of superior being! Welcome to the day that you realize that it is by choice and not by chance that we change our circumstances, but if we do not take the chance our circumstances stays the same! Both are champions who have fought many battles in their own right... A champion is defined as a person who has defeated all opponents in a competition or series of competitions, so as to hold first place! In life the only person who we are in direct competition with, is who we were yesterday… so in essence in order to become a champion in life, you must defeat the old you! Today's Daily Word is dedicated to self value! First and foremost Happy 87th Birthday to the late great Dr. Martin Luther King. Close to 50 years ago Dr. King's life was cut short while attempting to live out his dream of equality for all and even though we still have a long way to go, contrary to popular belief we have made some progress... It is up to those who see the importance of liberty for all to continue to fight the good fight! More importantly we must continue to fight within ourselves for what is rightfully ours... On our journey to be great, many people will tell us what we can't do and attempt to put limitations on how far we can go... What we need to realize is that the reason why we still have breath in our bodies is because we still have purpose in the greater scheme of life. We are all here to manifest the greatness that is in us innately. Whether others see that greatness or not is of no consequence. Understand your value, know what you bring to the table and never let anyone steal your joy. Your dreams are valid!
