international hockey is fun because i am both extraordinarily offended when my guys get snubbed and then relieved that a) i won't have to root against them and b) they won't get hurt and will get rest time (although this didn't seem to matter to the panthers this year)

on the other hand, i want to be excited for the other guys but as a tw43 defender ... being on the other side.... might be rough
