Okay so this idea popped into my head and it sounded cute so; McCree pregnant (about 7 months) with their son and their daughter (who was so happy to be a big sister toward the beginning of the pregnancy) is starting to act needy all the time. When confronted, she admits she's scared the baby will replace her and that she won't be loved anymore because the baby is a boy. Of course Jesse explains that isn't true and she gets to feel her brother kicking and gets a bunch of love from her pa. Maybe?
“Is it me or is Himari being a little more…clingy than usual?” Hanzo asks one evening when he and Jesse are getting ready for bed. Jesse, who is glowing in the tranquility of his pregnancy, looks at his husband and shrugs.
“She seems ‘bout the same to me. Aint all four year olds clingy?“ Jesse starts brushing his teeth, looking into the bedroom from the on-suit where Hanzo is getting dressed. He leans against the door, head turning to admire Hanzo as he takes off his trousers, and goes slack jawed when he gets a generous view of Hanzo’s bare ass. He grunts, jerking his brows when Hanzo glares back at him playfully and goes back to brushing his teeth.

Hanzo stares at the puppy in his husbands arms, his face completely bare of any expression let alone the expected joy of seeing something so cute. The little dog is a shaggy black and white pup, it’s fur stubby and fluffy where she hadn’t been kept groomed, and her tongue hanging from her mouth panting. A landseer breed, a bundle of love in his arms now but would grow to be about the same size as the two men if it stood on it’s hind legs. Jesse cooed over the adorable animal, blowing playfully at her ear and laughing when she would playfully chomp back at him, wiggling. When Jesse had left that morning he said he was going to get groceries and visit Fareeha, yet here he is with one of the puppies out of her dog’s litter, and not a single bag of groceries in sight.
“Her name is Cassidy, aint she a cutie!” Jesse holds the puppy out at arm length, watching her pant in Hanzo’s face before leaning in to sniff him curiously. While Jesse is beaming from cheek to cheek, Hanzo remains unamused and weary.
“Did Fareeha trick you into taking her?” He asks, making Jesse recoil the happy puppy back into his arms. He rests her on the perch of his humble bump, cradling like she’s a new born baby, and shakes his head.
“Not at all, darling. Why, this little lady came over and jumped in my lap when I sat down. She kept sniffing round the little’n, wondering what was going on in here. She used my belly like her own pillow, and I fell in love. Fareeha said she hadn’t no home yet, so I took her.”
Despite how filled to the brim with glee Jesse was, Hanzo can’t help but grumble under his breath, taking the dog out of Jesse’s arms. Cassidy began to wriggle in his hold however, yelping and squirming as much as she could to try break Hanzo’s hold on her. “We can not take on a puppy, Jesse. You are 5 months pregnant and Himari is still very young, we have enough responsibilities.”
“I’m telling you, Han, she’ll be good as gold! Himari will love her too.”
Hanzo goes to speak again when Cassidy finally breaks free and bundles back over to Jesse, falling into his leg and then sitting patiently at his feet, wagging her tail as she looks up at him. He strains to bend over, picking her back up and cuddling her into his chest, laughing as she licks his face.
“You have not thought this through. It won’t be you taking her for walks as she gets bigger, it will be me.” Jesse waves him off, but Hanzo cuts back in. “We will be taking care of two infants, and we’re still technically agents too, we don’t want to take on anymore responsibility.”
“Oh, blah blah blah, sugarpie! Fareeha wrangles up her dogs well enough and she takes on more missions and briefs than we do!”
“Fareeha does not also have children.”
“Well if our family is such an inconvenience to your duties, why did ya go and knock me up twice?” Jesse frowns, beginning to tire with the argument. He knew having a dog wasn’t going to be an issue for him, and he especially didn’t appreciate the mollycoddling Hanzo was displaying just because the last pregnancy had been so difficult. As his anger begins to seep through, Cassidy barks playfully and nuzzles into his chest, making him smile immediately. Hanzo watches as his husband calms at the presence of the animal, and sighs in defeat.
“I apologise, Jesse. You know I did not mean to imply any negligence of my love for our family. If the dog means so much to you, then so it shall be.”
And with time, Hanzo did warm up to Cassidy greatly. Although she had a tendency to push his hand away from Jesse’s bump with her nose and replace it with her head, but he way Jesse laughed and patted her head always made up for it. And more true to words, Himari fell in love with the dog almost more than Jesse did.

Short, sweet, to the point. Himari and Austin cuddling Jesse because Hanzo isn't home and something happened so he's emotional. Maybe some pupper fluff too (like the really cute thing dogs do where they paw at their owners or lay their heads in their lap).
He thought it best to not mention the significance of the date to Hanzo. It would only worry him if he did, and that was the last thing he wanted to do when it was already a tough day for him. Hanzo and Genji were spending the day out to mourn their father, and Jesse insisted he go and be with his brother. They couldn’t fly home so easily, so they were taking the time to visit their father’s favourite place in America. That left Jesse alone, pregnant with twins while looking the other two kids.
Jesse lay in bed most of the morning, snuggled up to his pillow, trying not to think about the one thing he couldn’t stop thinking about. For him, it was the anniversary of the last time he ever saw his family. Two decades had already passed– where had all the time gone?! There he was with a completely new family, and he couldn’t knock the guilt that festered no matter how hard he tried. It was like he was replacing them. Of course, he wasn’t, but the sentiment of nostalgia infecting him while hormones coursed his body did nothing to help him stay logical.
It wasn’t until he heard the door creak open that he sat up. At the door frame he saw Himari with Austin in her arms, helping him waddle through the bedroom before she threw him onto the foot of the bed and climbed up herself. Austin crawled through the tangled sheets till he was face first in Jesse’s chest, hands grabbing whatever they could.
“Daddy, you haven’t been up all morning,” Himari sat the other side of her brother and rested her hand tenderly on Jesse’s bump. “Do you want me to make you breakfast?”
Jesse laughed and ruffled her hair. “I’m okay, honeybee…it’s just a tough day for me, and your dad.”
Austin hummed, snuggling closer to Jesse as he curled himself around Jesse’s huge form. “Daddy.” He whispered. Jesse ran his hand through his hair, careful the metal of his prosthetic arm didn’t catch him, and pulled him in closer.
“Should I ring papa?” Himari asked, all the while rolling up Jesse’s pajama top to reveal the pale stretch of his abdomen. She was used to doing so, both from when he was pregnant with Austin and when she found out about the twins, and she loved poking into the hard mould of his bump to see the babies respond with a kick. She did just that, tapping lightly and smiling when the small outline of what she guessed was a hand poked out.
“Nah, he needs his space.” Jesse took a breath then sighed. “You ever get sad there aint no grandparents to spoil ya like Torb does with his kid’s littlens?”
Himari raised a brow, looking over at Austin as if he could relate and then back to Jesse. “But Gabe always says to call him abuelo? And Ana acts like a grandma.” She sat up to take Jesse’s hand, cuddling it. “I have a bigger family than any of my class friends, I’m happy. Aren’t you?”
Jesse tutted, pulling her in closer to him along with Austin on the other side, squeezing them both so tight they let out an awkward yelp. “I am the happiest man in the world. I’m sorry, darlings, I guess I’m just a little emotional these days…”
Himari pushed out of his grasp slightly to think, and then whistled loudly out of the blue, no explanation. She sat with a smug grin on her face, and before Jesse could say anything, in came Cassidy tumbling over her own gangly limbs, jumping on the bed. Austin giggled as he grabbed for the fluffy friend, squealing with delight as she licked his cheek. Jesse gave her a gentle scratch under the chin, and she nuzzled into his touch, slowly lowering to rest on his bump like he was a table.
They all stayed in bed for the remainder of the afternoon, cuddled up to one another, drifting in and out of sleep, until the phone rang. Himari sprang off to answer the phone, and sat back with Jesse to put it on speaker phone - Hanzo on the other end.
“Hi papa!” Himari said.
“Pa!” Austin joined in, giggling. He was snuggled up to Jesse’s belly, hugging it like it was one of his stuffed toys. Cassidy too on the same boat as she slept soundly between his legs. Jesse smiled as he took the device into his own hand.
“I hope you are all alright. I just wanted to call to check up on you. Are you okay, Jesse?”
He thought about telling him the truth - the lingering sadness still lingering in his chest - but ultimately Jesse was okay– better than okay. He had the most wonderful family in the world, and no matter what his past held, there was an amazing future awaiting them with endless possibilities. He smiled and hugged Himari closer, her hands still massaging over the spot of his bump where the babies were most active.
“I’m great, sugar. I miss you, come home when you’re ready.”

Hanzo lay between Jesse’s legs, hands hugging his belly while his cheek rests against the boulder. Genji had agreed to take Himari and Austin for the weekend, allowing Jesse and Hanzo the time to rebuild what had temporarily been fractured. Those weeks he had been rejecting the idea of pregnancy despite his body, and rejecting Hanzo too, they were finally whole again– or slowly becoming such.
There was no denying Hanzo looks his most peaceful when in the company of his children, more so those fragile and still growing within Jesse. He speaks in soft whispers, a mixture of Japanese and English, tracing his fingers over the spots the twins hit against. Their bedroom is plunged into darkness with the exception of one bedside candle, casting its own sunset over Jesse’s stretched skin, and all is gentle. Words could never describe how much Jesse loves Hanzo, and they still can’t. It’s a feeling similar to the adrenaline settling after a dream come true, looping and speeding up every time it repeats, and those weeks without him in his bed he felt like a broken man. It wasn’t natural to have one side cold.
Jesse runs his hands through Hanzo’s hair, swirling his fingers around the locks that fall down his cheeks. “Aint had a hair cut in a while, have ya?”
Hanzo snickers, pressing a soft kiss bellow Jesse’s belly button and then running his finger up the snail trail that cascades in a thin line over his belly. “I did not know hair was such a deal breaker with you.” He jokes, letting his hands slide back to the sides of his belly. He’s utterly obsessed with the huge expense of belly, defying his palm of convenience. Jesse hums in amusement, running a hand over his belly, and sighs.
“I’m sorry for all those weeks, Hanzo. I…” he bites his lip and diverts his eyes from his husband’s. “I always wanted a big old family, but with how hard Himari was to have and how sick Austin got, I just couldn’t handle anymore trouble. I was scared…” he takes a deep breath, and looks back at him, eyes glistening as tears begin to spill. “I still am if I’m honest. Aint that silly?”
Hanzo sits up to be at Jesse’s side, pulling his head into his chest and soothes him. “You are not silly, Jesse. I am sorry for making you go through this again.”
“You aint made me-”
“You did not get in this condition without my so called help.”
“Sure, but you didn’t plan for this, and I’m happy we’re having ‘em now! Wouldn’t change them for anything.”
Hanzo smiles, pulling Jesse’s head up to kiss him, then wipes away his tears with his thumbs. “You still have not come up with any ridiculous nicknames for them. When will I be graced to know?”
Jesse ran a hand under his belly and thought, sniffing as a few tears still stream down his cheeks. He takes Hanzo’s hand and rests it on top of his bump.
“How’s about Soba and Udon?” He suggests. Hanzo frowns.
“You have used them on my dragons.”
Jesse snickers. “Alright Mr picky! Well…they’re due 'round October, right?” Hanzo nods. “Well then, these can be our little pumpkin seeds! Aint that cute? Cause they’re growing-”
“I get it, Jesse. But don’t they get individual names?”
“Since when have you been in charge of nicknaming!” Jesse frowns and thinks, when suddenly he feels a harsh kick to his ribs, making his groan. He rubs at the sore spot until eventually he snickers and looks back to Hanzo triumphantly. “How about we call then Junebug and Grasshopper?” He suggests, shrugging when Hanzo gives him a strange look. “One of them for sure has legs like a damn grasshopper! And they work well together…they can be our little lovebugs.”
“Not our pumpkin seeds?”
“Well…they’re our pumpkin seeds until they pop out!”
Hanzo laughs, running his hand over Jesse’s belly while the other intertwined their fingers together. “I am glad the hard part is over. Now we just need actual names for them.”
They laugh together, snuggling up and fawning over their darling lovebugs yet to come.

Something with Jesse getting frustrated or just exasperated bc he’s been leaking through all his favorite shirt?
“Fuck!”
Hanzo jumps when he hears the roar from the bedroom, and gives the silence that follows a second to advance. When the next sound is a loud thud, he rushes to the bedroom and storms in, looking around in a frenzy. All he’s met with however, is Jesse with a shirt bunched up against his face, and a tight fitting tank top clinging to him.
He frowns, stepping closer to his boyfriend. “Are you okay?”
He hears a dramatic sigh, and then Jesse turns around and holds up the shirt. The front is visibly soaked, trailing down the material and dying the red a darker bloody colour. Along with the checkered top, Hanzo notices Jesse’s current top has noticeably soaked through too, accentuating the extra weight he’d put on with pregnant. The moisture sticking to his skin, making his tanned skin shimmer as the light casts through the window. He stares at Hanzo, waiting the same exasperated reaction, and groans when he’s met with nothing but lingering eyes looking him up and down.
“I can’t wear anything without soaking through them! This is one of my favourite shirts!” Jesse throws the shirt down to the bed in a huff and cups his chest, squeezing lightly at the flesh. The reaction is instant however, a sting radiating through his torso causing him to hiss. Hanzo can see clear as day how upset Jesse is - when their little girl kicks, he’s the happiest person in the world, but the aches and pains, and now his leaks, it was all a lot. Jesse begins to tear up, making Hanzo lunge at him for a hug.
“Would you like me to talk to Angela to see if there’s anything that can be done-”
“Either plug me up or milk me dry, I don’t care! I just wanna wear my damn clothes without hassle.” He wriggles away to look into the full size mirror, and in a flash whipes off his shirt. He turns this way and that, holding his bump and running his hand down it.
Hanzo can’t help but stare at him - Jesse is beautiful, swollen with his child, thicker and softer and more needy. The stretch of his skin as he balloons outward, glowing that way people say when talking about pregnancy, and weight suits him perfectly. And God, Hanzo hasn’t said anything but he’s obsessed with Jesse’s nipples. Looking at him now, the dark, engorged nubs just threatening to spill every chance - he felt guilty having lustful thoughts when Jesse was suffering.
With a wicked chuckle, he loops his arms underneath Jesse’s, and gently cups his hands over his breasts, grinning when Jesse sucks in a sharp breath.
“Whatever you want, Jesse.” He gives a playful squeeze, loving how full his hands feel when groping him. Jesse instinctively grinds back against Hanzo, moaning under his breath before recoiling with embarrassment. “I just want you to be happy.”
“Now don’t you go playing with me, darling,” Jesse twirls out of his hold and shakes his head, moving to rummage through their draws. “You promised me and honeybee an ice cream sandwich in the cafeteria, and I’ll be damned if we miss out.” He pulls out a new light white tee to put on, accompanied by a new brown shirt, tighter around his middle than expected but to no dismay.
“You know Fareeha would never let you miss out on those sweet treats now you’re in your condition.” He laughs, and before Jesse goes to speak, Hanzo’s eyes fall down to his chest where he sees him leaking already again. “Uh, Jesse?…”
“Wha- OH, sweet Jesus I’m going crazy!” He pulls at his hair and sits on the edge of the bed, finally letting the tears fall. Hanzo sits beside him and pulls him in for a hug, kissing his temple to sooth him. One hand rests against the top of his bump.
“She will be eternally grateful for all you have suffered, Jesse. Just remember that.”
Jesse hums, smirking, and pulls his shirt forward to shout down at his bare torso, “you damn well better be, honeybee! I aint becoming a leaky faucet for you to give me no cheek!”

The first time Austin’s spirit dragon manifests he’s with Himari. She’s playing with her stuffed toys, letting him indulge in her fantasy world, and he participates by babbling nonsense and throwing the plush animals at one another. He starts giggling without stopping, falling over on the floor, and that’s when it happens. A small orange dragon slithers up his arm and sits on his back as he amuses himself, and Himari stares at the thing.
She calls for Jesse desperately, amazed by the discovery, and Jesse waddles into her bedroom to see her pink dragon curled up with a new addition he had no knowledge in.
“Austin has a dragon, too, daddy!” She gasps, pointing as his bump. “That means the pumpkin seeds might have some!”
Jesse is speechless, before finally pinching the bridge of his nose and sighing. “Why am I always pregnant when this happens?”

“Hay, Hanny, how do I look?”
Hanzo puts up a finger as he finishes the sentence in his book, then looks up with a smile to admire his husband. What stands before him though is a sight that makes his eyes practically fall out of his head, and his mouth drops. Jesse in a pair of blue maternity dungarees, an off the shoulder stripped shirt underneath, and his hair pushed back by a hair band, curling around the frame. He has a hand supporting his baby bump - now beyond what anyone could comprehend was possible - and his other on his hip.
“Oh, uh, you look…” Hanzo swallows. Where does he begin to describe how in love he is seeing Jesse in such a state. The outfit made him look rather wholesome and sweet, unlike the usual cowboy get up he supported, and the denim stretched over his belly accentuated how swollen he really was. God, Hanzo wished he could frame this moment in time, keep Jesse full with his children. “You look good, Jesse.”
“You sure? Tonights that thing with Himari’s classmates parents coming over. I got Ana to help me bake snacks, but I thought I should try look more…I dunno, glowing? Less like a cowboy I guess.” He walks to Hanzo’s side and gingerly lowered himself to sit beside him, huffing out as he finally made contact with the cushion. Hanzo put his arm around Jesse and rubbed his bump, still a little lust struck by the softer image of his husband.
“How long do we have before the kids come home?” Hanzo asked, his voice fallen with silk. Jesse clicked his tongue on the roof of his mouth, taking Hanzo’s hand and sliding it up to grope his chest.
“Starting to think you keep knocking me up for your own sake.”
Hanzo squeezed lightly, chuckling when Jesse moaned. “You’re just so cute, my love…can’t help myself.”

Hanzo presses into Jesse’s shoulder blades as he lays on his side, breathing heavily through the waves of pain seizing his body. He was slowly approaching the due date and the braxton hicks contractions had started to kick in, with absolutely no remorse for Jesse’s well being. Angela said they would be rather strong given he was carrying twins, but this was something almost unbearable. He’d worried he was in labour but Hanzo checked, and absolutely nothing in terms of centimeters dilated, and his water remained in tact.
The twins are ready, Jesse could tell, and the closer he got to the due date, the more nervous he felt. Two babies, screaming and crying, and putting him through a world of pain- sure they’d be worth it in the end, but with how difficult things had been it just amplified the anxiety of labour.
As Hanzo massages the knots killing his back, singing softly in Japanese, they hear their bedroom door creak open and Austin stands in the hallway with tears streaming down his face, Cassidy whimpering sympathetically at his side.
“Daddy…papa…” he whispers softly. Cassidy snuggles into his leg, getting just as upset by seeing him in distress. Hanzo looks over his shoulder and raises a brow. If Jesse wasn’t battling another rolling contraction, he would look over too.
“Hay baby bear,” Jesse manages to say through his teeth. “What’s got you all sniffles?”
“I had a bad dream.” And as he says it, he starts sobbing again, running at the bed and throwing himself into Hanzo for a hug. Cassidy yelps as she runs back to his side, nudging her head under his arm to comfort him. With great difficulty, Jesse rolls over and breaths through the agony of his faux contraction, rubbing his bump.
“Yeah, I feel the same, little man.” Jesse sits up and opens his arms for his son to crawl to his side, resting on his belly. He strokes back Austin’s hair as he whimpers, shushing him along with the equally distressed dog no resting it’s head on his belly.
“I didn’t want to annoy you. The babies come first, but I-”
“Woah there, hold up partner. Never think I won’t give you a cuddle when you’re blue! Babies or no babies, you’re still one of mine and I’ll always be here for ya.” He leans over to kiss him on the top of his head and cuddles him closer. “How ‘bout you sleep here with me and your papa, and we’ll keep ya safe from those spooky dreams.”
Austin nods, but pushes up out of Jesse’s hold. “Can I lay on papa’s tummy? He’s soft like a pillow.”
Jesse rubs his bump as another dull pain starts to burn through his abdomen, snickering as Hanzo frowns at the comment. “Sure thing, bud. Your papa has got a comfy belly.”
And so Hanzo endures his toddler son sleeping soundly on the plush of his belly, while Jesse strokes back his hair and deals with the further pains.

Jesse reassuring his chubby hubby that’s he’s still hot when Hanzo gets self conscious of his new dad weight >.>
Everyone told him it was perfectly normal to put on weight when being a parent, and even more so when their partner was expecting– in fact people always thought it was remarkable Hanzo didn’t get chubby earlier than the third trimester of Jesse’s third pregnancy. Regardless, the words of reassurance did nothing to comfort him, and Hanzo began to resent his weight.
A nagging, dark pool of self loathing that ate him alive. In retrospect, it wasn’t a lot. It sat at his stomach and made him soft, but stayed off his face. Still, he could only find grievance for the extra padding, and it pushed him to work out twice as hard as before.
Jesse would wake up to a cold side of the bed, and after rolling out of bed ans waddling to the window, he’d see his husband doing laps around the garden with Cassidy chasing after him. A little exercise was one thing, but Hanzo was pushing his limits well beyond their capabilities, and with the stress of two new borns to come, there wasn’t room for Hanzo to be going into overdrive.
So, after so many days of Hanzo working out round the clock and even wearing some of Jesse’s maternity shirts to avoid seeing his belly in tight clothing, Jesse confronted him. He knocked timidly on the on suit door as Hanzo got out the shower and smiled. Hanzo was cautious about hiding his half naked body from his husband, and it seemed that was all Jesse needed to cut the crap and jump straight to business.
“Hanny, I know you ain’t gonna believe me, but you don’t gotta work out so hard. You’re damn fine how you are!”
Hanzo puckered his lips and sighed, shaking his head. “I have let myself go, and it is shameful. If I ever have to go on a mission on protect my family, I will not be at the peak of my physical health-”
“Darling, that there is a load of shit!” Jesse laughed. He waddled through the bathroom and eyed Hanzo up and down, smirking wickedly. “You still got them there arms fit to crush a mans skull, and even with the extra cargo, it ain’t like you’re not strong anymore!” He shrugged, popping his hip as he crossed his arms over his bump. “We have two littlens on the way. This ain’t the time to stress yourself out!”
Hanzo tightened his grip on his towel. His eyes fell from Jesse’s, embarrassed by how shy he felt in the presence of who he loved more than life itself. “I don’t think I look good anymore…I let myself get distracted and now I’m just…this.” He signalled his hand down his body, shaking his head. “I am not who you fell in love with.”
Jesse raised a brow, before bursting into a fit of laughter and grabbing Hanzo’s hands. “Listen here, sugar. I didn’t blow up like a balloon three times round and marry ya cause you had abs, okay? I love you ‘cause you’re the better half of me. Don’t go forgetting that, ya hear? You could blow up as big as my fat ass self, and I’ll still love ya to death and back!” He held a finger under Hanzo’s chin and tipped his bowed head up, winking when their eyes met. Crystal browns burning bright, warming up the dying fires within Hanzo’s iris’, and he can’t help but smile at the affection. He squeezed Jesse’s hand and laughed under his breath, cheeks dusting over with a soft pink.
“Thank you, Jesse. I love you too, more than words could begin to explain.”
They lean in over the obstructed obstacle of Jesse’s heavy baby bump, and linger for a few hot seconds, brining a moan from the cowboy. He bit his lip and snickered, dancing his finger over the rim of Hanzo’s towel.
“You know, I’d be more than willing to prove just how damn sexy you are, darling. You lower me to the floor cause there ain’t a shot in hell I can kneel in my state, and I’ll blow your damn mind…literally.”
Hanzo chuckled, pushing back Jesse’s hair and watching how he nuzzled into his palm with the movement. “You do not need to prove anything-”
“Well, what if I wanna? C'mon, baby, before the kids get dropped back. Least let me, I dunno, lick something off your body.”
“What?” Hanzo laughed, putting his arms around Jesse as he grinded his best into him.
“I dunno, darling! I’m pregnant and horny, and you’re basically naked, teasing me!
And of course, like a perfect gentleman, Hanzo gracefully accepted Jesse’s offer to "please” him.

Jesse was having immense trouble trying to sleep, and for once it wasn’t because of the baby kicking his bladder. It seemed his prosthetic arm was beginning to constrict– in need of some fine tuning and rewiring, before it fell limp and useless, and the lack of communication from the prosthetics main frame and his nerve endings were causing an influx in phantom pains.
For the third time that night, Jesse jerks awake, and shouts, grabbing his arm where there’s a strong shooting pain, which in turn wakes up Hanzo instantly too to tend to him. He hadn’t been disturbed so far, and Jesse felt too bad to wake him up, but there isn’t any choice in the matter this time when Hanzo’s hands are immediately on him. One goes around his back and the other rubs at his bump instinctively, and Jesse can’t do anything other than cradle his arm and groan in agony.
“Are you okay, my love? Is it the baby, do you need to see Angela?” Despite the barrage of questions, the infliction of his voice doesn’t waver to a panic like expected. He’s rather calm, and before Jesse even answers he looks to see what Jesse rubs and makes an educated guess. “I wish you would take your prosthetic off while you sleep. It has been an issue ever since you started doing so.”
Jesse grits his teeth and starts fiddling with the metal rim of his arm, loosening the trap to release the valves and slowly slips the limb off. As the pressure releases, he feels his nerves spike and practically screams out. Hanzo holds him close, running his fingers through his hair as he whimpers into his chest.
“It aint easy to do shit now I’m the size of a house, and with a limb out the picture, Imma need your help just to do the simplest of tasks.” He picks up his prosthetic and inspects it, grunting. “Gotta be honest, Hanny, I’m scared ‘bout looking after our little'n when seems I’m dealing with pains I aint had since I first lost old lefty.”
Hanzo digs through the bed side drawer and pulls out a cream Angela had given him before to help Jesse’s soars, and starts applying the cooling gel to the tender spot of his upper arm. “You do not need to worry, I will help you with everything needed. If you wake up and need help, I would always gladly wake up for you.”
Jesse rubs at his swollen belly and purrs into Hanzo’s touch. The baby now stirs within him, ironically moving and pushing against his bladder that he’s struck with a growing need to pee. He takes Hanzo’s free hand and holds it against the spot she kicks the most, his hand over his, and laughs under his breath.
“I guess it’s the least ya can do since you put her in there! Now you gotta put your money where your mouth is and help me to the bathroom.”
Hanzo gladly stands and aids Jesse to his feet. “I will book an appointment with Angela tomorrow and you won’t sleep with your arm on anymore.”
Jesse turns to look at him, unimpressed. “Han, I already told ya-”
“No disagreements, McCree. It’s an order.”
Before going through the door to the bathroom, he leans against the frame and smirks, looking down Hanzo’s body and meets his eyes. “Wow oh wow, darling, you sure are hot when you’re demanding. If I weren’t already knocked up, I may just offer myself up to ya.”
Hanzo rolls his eyes but laughs, pushing Jesse to go into the bathroom and carefully moves his prosthetic arm off the bed for when he returns.

Jesse was fast asleep when he heard the distinct sound of glass shattering from downstairs. In an instant - or as fast as his body would allow him - he shot up right and froze, listening for another sound. His worries were confirmed when the soft squeak of the floorboards creaking in slow succession called through, and instinctively he grabbed his gun from the bedside drawer. He looked over to his husband who was fast asleep, and gently shook him awake. Groggy, Hanzo moaned and rolled over, hand instinctively going to Jesse’s bump.
“Are you okay, my love?” He said through the thick of sleep. Jesse took the hand resting on his belly and pulled him up, cocking his gun. The sound of the shells in the barrel woke Hanzo up fully though better than any cup of coffee could, and put his hands on Jesse’s shoulders. “What are you doing-”
“Get to Himari and Austin. There’s someone downstairs.” Jesse threw the covers off his body and with great difficulty stood, throwing a hoodie on. Hanzo watched him, baffled, before shooting up and holding Jesse’s arm to keep him back. Another muffled crash was heard downstairs, making both men go wide eyed.
“Jesse, you are 8 months pregnant,” Hanzo whispered, taking the gun from his hand. “I will inspect the scene.”
“Darling, you’re in a better condition to protect the kids.”
“That does not matter, you are carrying two of our children as it is!”
“Ain’t a problem I got an obstacle on my hips, I’ll gun down whoever is putting our family in danger.” He took the gun back and before Hanzo could stop him further, he left the bedroom and made his way downstairs, as nimble as he possibly could given his size. Hanzo’s heart was racing but he didn’t ponder too long, his legs taking the initiative to protect his children.
He entered Austin’s room first, picking the toddler up and holding him against his chest before sneaking into Himari’s bedroom and barricading the door. His better judgement told him to help Jesse, but he had such a determined look in his eye, he had no reason to dispute his instructions.
Himari cuddled up into Hanzo, trying to hold back the tears of her worries, when suddenly a loud crack erupted from down stairs, followed by a gun and Jesse yelling. Hanzo held his children closer to him, until another pained whine broke the tension and he ran out of the bedroom in a hurry. He closed the door behind him as his daughter called out in panic. Hanzo cursed himself as he stumbled down the stairs, and as he got into the living room, there he found a man dressed in royal robes laying dead on the floor. He stared at the corpse in disbelief, until Jesse’s weak moan alerted him and he ran to his side where he was leaning against the kitchen counter, holding his stomach. Hanzo held his face in his hands, inspecting him for any marks but thankfully came to find nothing.
“Jesse, are you okay? I should have come with you, that man could have-”
“We gotta move back to Gibraltar.” Jesse interrupted. Hanzo frowned, but was silenced when Jesse pushed past him, kicking the man to roll onto his front. “You still got some enemies gunning for ya, Han. Seems word’s gotten out there’s a wrangle of Shimada heirs, and your clan are on the look.” Jesse took a deep breath and pinched the bridge of his nose, dropping to sit on the sofa. Hanzo stood in front of his husband, eyes going between the assassin on the floor and Jesse’s distressed state.
“But…I do not understand, they are no longer-”
“Don’t deny the facts, Hanzo, there’s a fucking dead guy on our floor. Look, I’m about to drop any day now, and I gotta keep our family safe.”
The tension between them fell cold. Hanzo was silent for an.awkwardly long time, and when he went to sit beside his husband, Jesse stood up and moved. Hanzo didn’t follow him. He stayed put and listened to his husband embrace his distressed children, and eventually decided to clean up the destruction of the living room, staring with the dead body.
He couldn’t understand, after all that time, why were they suddenly on his tail now?

For a prompt, how about Jesse lets the kids paint on his belly before he gives birth, to try and calm them down after the intruder came
Hanzo watches as his two children paint with glee the spherical canvas that is Jesse’s bump, his own expression amused for the first time in a while. Himari takes her time to decorate the expanse of skin with purple flowers, slightly smudged but delicately placed nevertheless. Using the start of his stretch marks, the green vine runs up his skin to curl around the front, and small flowers litter the vine to give it life. A few times the twins kick out and stretch the paint, but she laughs it off and tells them to be patient with her master piece.
Austin however decides that a paint brush isn’t enough, and covers his hands in the paint to spread over Jesse’s belly. He’s careful about pressing against him, given Jesse’s battered and bruised and hooked to hospital equipment, and leaves hand prints every clear space there is. A few of the hands get connected by curling lines, but it’s his tiny signatures that define the art.
One side of Jesse is a cluster of messy hands, and the other are flowers. Perfect.
Hanzo had been given the cold shoulder the past few days, and it was eating him up inside having his husband mad at him. On the one hand, he’s annoyed himself - by no means had he asked for a dangerous man to invade their home and by all intensive purposes, attempt to kill them - but on the other hand, he understands Jesse’s attitude. His body is flooded with hormones, he can’t help feeling how he does, and this time there’s a lot more rationality to the anger, as opposed to the likes of arguing over who finished the milk. Seeing Jesse with a smile on his face made his chest fill with flutters.
With a content smile and a deep sigh, Himari admires their work and looks at Jesse. “You like it, Daddy?” She asks. He snickers, running his hand through her hair.
“Absolutely, honeybee. Y'all are a pair of artists, I tells ya.” He looks over at Austin briefly, smiling when he giggles, and when he returns his eyes to Himari, her face has fallen. “What’s with the sad eyes, darling?”
Hanzo slowly approaches the bed and bends down to her level, putting his arm around her. Austin looks up from his own peaceful state to watch his sister worry, his face falling in unison. Himari’s lip wobbles, and soon she’s sniffling back weak tears as they fall down her cheeks. “I should have done more to protect you. I could have helped you, and you wouldn’t be hurt now if I did.” She wipes her eyes and looks over her shoulder at Hanzo, wrapping her arms around his neck when he offers her a hug. Jesse watches her cry into his neck, astonished by the statement, and swallows down his own emotion bubbling up.
“Himari, baby, look at me.” He rests his hand on her cheek when she faces him, brushing away the tears that fall down her cheeks. “It’s not your job to protect me, okay? Me and your papa watch out for you two, not the other way around. That bad man weren’t gonna do no harm to me, you know that. I’m tough, honeybee! Not a soul alive that could tear me away from what I’ve got right here in front of me.” He gingerly sits himself up, wincing as a soft spike of pain clutches his side, and puts his arms around both his children. “No more tears, ya hear little lady? I’m already a mess of emotions, don’t go making it worse!”
She giggles, wiping her face of the tears and smiles softly. Austin is watching her, before reaching his sticky hand out for her to take. She eyes it for a second, but ultimately takes his kind gesture and there’s a soft squelch as they clasp hands.
Hanzo walks up to Jesse’s headboard and brushes back his hair, admiring him in all his glory. Although he’s a little weary, Jesse leans back into him and lets out the tight breath he’d been holding in his chest.
He doesn’t say anything while his children are present, but after Fareeha takes them away and Jesse cleans himself of the multitude of colours from his huge belly, Hanzo holds him close and makes him a promise.
“I will end them all, Jesse. You have my word, no one will dare come for our family again.”
And Jesse believes him. The best he can with the bolder between them, he kisses Hanzo deeply, overwhelmed by a consuming passion when his husband’s hands fall to his hips. He smiles into the kiss, pulling away only when there’s a particularly strong kick that shifts his belly, making him hold the bump for support. Hanzo rests his hands either side of his belly, and kneels down to be eye level, kissing the stretched skin.
Jesse tuts, laughing. “Talk to Winston about it before you go off on a one man war, will ya? I’m sure he can put together a mission brief for it.”
“It is my fight, no one else-”
“You have a family, Hanny. I’m near to popping, and I aint ‘bout to be a widow with four kids just cause you are to stubborn to accept help.” He takes Hanzo’s hands when he stands back up. “Get me into bed before Angela ties me down, and get some rest. The morning ya get the team together, okay?”
He hesitant, but ultimately accepts. Jesse is right, and so he does exactly as he’s told, starting with getting Jesse back to bed.

Prompt: “The twins are the most difficult pregnancy. It honestly nearly kills Jesse, and after Hanzo subconsciously tries to take on all of the parent responsibilities by himself because of guilt.”
Part One…
_____
It’s a nightmare come to life. Jesse has Austin on his lap when the alarms signal, and Himari who was sat on the chair reading a book jumps up immediately and runs to her father’s side. The little boy snuggles up against Jesse instinctively, his hands over his chest, and Himari is watching the door for an intruder. The dull call of the alarm repeats for what feels like hours, and they all stay frozen to their spot.
Of course, Hanzo isn’t there to help. Jesse would be angry if he wasn’t overwhelmed by protecting the four kids under his care currently. Suddenly the alarms increase in pitch, and a second bell accompanied the first. He could hear from outside heavy footsteps in the distance running, and that’s when he shifts his weight to get up. With Austin clung to him like a koala, he waddles to the medic room and holds the handle, listening close.
“Daddy, what’s happening?” Himari asks, and when Jesse turns around to what he thought would be his daughter scared, he sees Himari with her fists clenched. Her expression is similar to Hanzo’s when he’s focused, with no emotion registered for him to read. Around her frame she begins to glow a pink light, and her spirit dragon emerges from her arm to wrap around her. Jesse watches, fascinated and a little weary, when suddenly he sees in the corner of his eye another luminous glow, and turns to see Austin’s spirit dragon slithering around Jesse’s neck, nuzzling against the scruff of his beard. Jesse watches the faint creature purr, and gently puts Austin down. As he straightens up, he places his hand flat against the small of his back and groans.
“It’ll be okay, darling. We just gotta stay put up in here, and wait for your papa to get ba-” but before he can finish his sentence, he’s struck by an internal pain that feels like a rupture through his gut. He holds his bump with both hands and tries to breath through the clenching in his belly. Himari rushes at his side, and as she gets to him, holding his arm where he’s slid down the wall, he feels a pop between his legs and a waterfall of water gushes down his trouser leg.
Shit. The worst thing to happen at the worst time. All Jesse can think is shit, along with a collection of other curses.
Gun fire announces from outside, the distant screams and calls of agents and enemies alike, and Jesse feels the most useless he ever has sat on the floor of the medical room with his two children, ready to give birth to twins that have no concept of time management. He tries to steady himself, but the second he pushes up to get back on his feet, the pain contracts again and leaves him screaming in agony. Himari’s dragon flares up as she watches him, and Austin’s does the same, more compassion than aggression. Tears begin to well in his eyes. He runs a hand through his hair and breaths heavily.
“I need the phone,” Jesse pants, waving over to the bedside table where his holographic phone sits. Austin toddles over and grabs it, nearly falling over his own two feet as he runs to hand it to him, and Jesse just about presses call when another contraction grips him. A few rings, then Hanzo’s voice comes through on a blue line.
“Jesse, the base is under attack. You need to-”
“Sorry to interrupt you, sugar, but it seems the recent rugrats thought it a good time to make themselves known!” Despite the flicker of a laugh on the end of his sentence, Jesse sounds absolutely shaken with fear. Through the line, he can hear the barrage of rockets where Fareeha has fired in the background, then a quick succession of Japanese as he finds Genji.
“Are you sure? Is it time? Where are you?” He can hear Hanzo running from the fight, accompanied by yelling that he guessed was Genji. Jesse rubs his stomach to try sooth the pain, his eyes going wide where the shape of his belly shifts more than noticeably and one of the twins begins to settle in position. God, his heart tastes like iron, he can barely breath with the nauseating lump in his throat.
“Jesus, Han, I don’t think I can do this,” His voice wavers in pitch, and the more worked up he gets, the more vibrant his children’s dragons become. The whole scene feels surreal, he’s not sure what to do or how to react. Suddenly, an ear shattering explosion bursts a few corridors away from theirs, and shakes all three of them to stumble. Jesse has spare arm around Austin where he’s fallen, and a leg propped out to balance Himari, still all the while his middle is contracting to bring him nothing but pain. Hanzo’s panicked shouts come through on the other end of the phone. “What’s going on?!”
“You are in danger, Jesse. The clan know we are here, and they’re not the only ones looking for us. You need to stay where you are!”
“I don’t plan on wandering off any time soon!” He grunts again, sitting up as his two children balance themselves. Austin rests his hands against Jesse’s bump, scrunching up his face, and slowly his dragon curls around the bump, glowing. He can feel a strange vibration coming from the spirit along with a tender warmth, and he looks down at the creature confused, chuckling weakly under his breath. “What’cha doing there, Babybear?”
Austin opens his eyes to look at Jesse, giving him a soft smile. “Helping.“
Jesse raises his brow, but then he feels the pain start to slowly subside, and it becomes more of a dull thud through his bones. It’s still recognisable, and Jesse has to grit his teeth and bare it, but the stinging continues to radiate ever so slightly. He hums in content, smiling down at the creature that continues to purr.
Himari takes the holographic phone from her father and responds to the distressed Hanzo on the other end. "Hello? Papa, it’s me.”
“Himari, are you all safe? Me and uncle Genji are coming for you. Where’s Angela?”
“I don’t know, papa. Austin’s helping daddy with the pain. Shall I go look for Angela?”
“No!” Hanzo says. Another loud crashing cracks through the phone, making Himari flinch. Hanzo groans before coming back to her. “It is not safe out there. Bad people are looking for you and your brother’s. You must stay with daddy.”
“But the babies are coming? I can help-”
“Listen to what I say, Himari. You are not to leave the room.”
She frowns, irritated by the harsh tone in his voice, and without thinking she hands the phone back to Jesse. The tranquility and unstable powers of Austin’s dragon clouds Jesse judgement and leaves him dizzy. He takes the phone and smiles at her with a goofy grin, only straightening out when she places a hand on his chest and nods.
“Honeybee?”
“I will get Angela. Austin will protect you.”
Jesse groans, grabbing her hand and pulling her close. The sound of Hanzo’s angry voice calls out between them but they pay it no mind. “No, no, you gotta st-” but he’s cut off by an agonising pang through his belly, radiating down to his legs and up his spine. Himari leans in and holds his face in her hands, watching as he cries, and squishes his cheeks softly.
“Trust me, daddy.” And with a soft kiss to his forehead, she runs out the room to find someone who can help Jesse. Austin watches her in confusion, and his anxieties begin to effect the strength of his dragon. As the power fades, Jesse feels the true wrath of his contractions render him, and he bolts forward holding his bump, practically screaming to the point of his lungs bursting. Austin stumbles backward, whimpering at the sight of his dad in such pain. Hanzo’s voice still calls through the holographic phone, but no one answers him. All there is is the distressed cries of Jesse, explosions slowly getting closer and closer, and Hanzo desperately calling for someone to answer him…
-
It’s all a daze after that. Jesse falls in and out of consciousness with little time to comprehend what’s around him, and the few sights he beholds distort alongside his sanity. Through the thick of his pain, he sees flashing orange lights wrap around him like a blanket, and as a fiery explosion shakes the floor, a thunderous roar calls out louder. Pink beams shine through the windows faintly, then blue and green, and the last thing he remembers is Austin’s voice as he whispers “It’s okay”…
-
Hanzo doesn’t know how to calm himself when he finally gets to the medical bay. Him and Genji are both drenched in the blood of their enemies, and despite the sounds of war dying out around them, Hanzo is still filled with unnerving rage as he runs up the stairs. Time may as well slow down the closer he gets.
He throws himself at the room Jesse was in and freezes to see the back of a woman over his body. He pulls out a bow and holds it at her head, cursing in Japanese. Luckily, Genji grabs the weapon and lowers it.
“It’s Angela.” He says. The two men stare at her as she turns around, carrying two children in her arms, and suddenly any sound that there was falls silent. Hanzo’s body goes weak at the sight. There, in the flesh, are his twins, nuzzled up in Angela’s arms. Both fresh faced and tiny, they practically glow in a wholesome shade.
As Hanzo steps forward, a loud yell comes from behind and a man dressed in black emerges, wielding a sword. Hanzo reacts by raising his bow, but is beaten to the kill when Himari bolts through his legs and stabs the man in the leg with a Kunai. Her dragon wraps around her arm and strikes the assassins limb alongside the weapon. He stumbles to the floor in pain, and before he can grab his weapon again, Hanzo has his foot on his hand, a bow aiming between his eyes. The lock eyes, and the stranger grins, chuckling darkly.
“Why are you coming for my family?” Hanzo asks, pulling back the bow. Another dark chuckle, going on and on with no resolution, prompting Hanzo to fire his bow straight between his eyes, killing him instantly. An erie silence, a clutching tension, and then he takes a deep breath.
“Hanzo, Jesse’s not doing too well.” Angela says, and that makes him turn around and rush to his husband’s side. Jesse is a wreck - his hair matted and his skin ghostly white, the sweat that drips down his face glazes him with a horrific shine. He drops to his side and takes his hand, holding it to his lips.
“Jesse? Jesse, speak to me!”
A light groan, Jesse rolls his head on his shoulder and smiles deliriously. “I’m okay, sugar tits. Just a little,” he gags, “woozy. Think I lost a loooooootta blood.” He giggles, squeezing Hanzo’s hand. “But at least the love bugs are fine and good and dandy. Hay, you wanna know the name I picked?”
Hanzo cups his hands and nods. “Tell me.”
Jesse bites his lip and weakly nods at the twins. “The little guy with the most hair? And the one blue eye? That’s your son, Reo.”
And before Hanzo can celebrate, Jesse passes out. He shakes him vigorously, practically crying, and Himari tugs on his leg to pull him back.
“He’s okay, papa. Just needs rest.”
Hanzo doesn’t know how to register the moment. He holds his head in his hands and cries at Jesse’s bedside, his body shaking. There was too many emotions soaring through his body, he would have to save his celebration for the birth of his sons when Jesse recovers. What a way to welcome Reo and Nash to the world…

“You have to be real careful, Austin. Babies are super squishy. Hold his head.”
Himari holds Austin’s arms as he handles one of the twins, Reo. Fareeha had the other little boy, Nash, cooing as he makes babbling sounds in his sleep. It’s been a few days since their birth, and Jesse is still under the close watch of Angela. Hanzo was taking a short break from watching the kids to help clean up the base, leaving Fareeha and Brigitte on babysitting duty. It also means Himari gets the honours of teaching Austin how to hold a baby the same way Jesse and Hanzo had done with her when he was born.
Austin is nervous about it, but he trusts Himari as she wraps her arms around him and helps him support Reo’s head. His tiny eyes are open, watching the pair in fascination, giggling when Austin smiles. Reo has one ocean blue eye and one brown one, while Nash has two hazelnut coloured iris’. It’s striking, the glowing frame around his pupil, and lifts his entire face with a sunny spell. The twins are almost identical par Reo’s eye and fluffier hair, and it seems Nash is also a lot more tired, which in all fairness is normal of a new born.
Reo draws out a long breath and blows his lips, giggling lightly. Austin softly swings his arms, like Himari guides him to, and smiles at his little brother.
“Cute.” Austin says, looking at Himari who watches them proudly. “You used to be small too?” He asks her, and she laughs.
“So did you! I held you when you were a little baby. Now you’re a big brother.”
He raises a brow and hums. “I’m your big brother?”
“No, Babybear. You’re all my little brothers, and I’m your big sister.” She looks down at the infant and shrugs. “Too many boys.”
“Hay, there’s always me to look out for you.” Fareeha reminds, and the pair laugh with their godmother, gently handing back Reo to Brigitte.
“And me. And hay, maybe your daddy will have a little girl in the future.”
“Well how about we let him recover first before even suggesting any future off spring.” Fareeha says to Brigitte, laughing as Austin and Himari watch them. Himari wouldn’t mind a little sister some day, but the stress Jesse went under to have the twins makes her cautious about his future if he has anymore children, and the sanity of Hanzo given the stress of taking care of everyone single handedly…

I guess it does make more sense for Austin to be more peaceful I was stuck thinking about game mechanics and everyone having an attack oops. But anyways I can def keep the headcanons coming for you👍If Deadeye is heritable I think their youngest child would inherit it and Jesse might actually give peacekeeper to them instead of Austin. This isn't about their abilities but how do Hanzo, Jesse, and the rest of the family feel when the kids start going out on missions?
I guess they never thought any of the kids would go on to do missions, but Himari finds a lot of her inspiration from her Godmother, Fareeha, that there’s no holding her back to becoming a fighter. Jesse and Hanzo don’t love the idea, but Jesse is able to process the news faster than Hanzo does. She trains with Fareeha and Genji as much as possible, but Hanzo refuses to let her shadow Fareeha on a low key stake out mission.
It becomes clear however some of his attitude stems from her being his little girl, because when Austin tells them he doesn’t want to fight, Hanzo is shocked. Austin wants to work alongside Angela while studying Zenyatta’s teachings, and Jesse couldn’t be more proud. When Hanzo buys him his own bow and arrow however, Himari flips out. This leads to Himari’s rebellion phase of signing up to Overwatch behind her father’s back and going on missions that risk her life.
The twins and any future off spring - I haven’t put too much thoughts into it, but if anyone has any headcanons for their kid’s abilities and such, hit me up! I love the idea of one of the kids actually missing out on having a spirit dragon but taking up Jesse’s deadeye ability instead.

Jesse rolls over in their bed, hand going to his chest as he breathes heavily. His hair is a matted tangled mess, and sooner than expected he feels Hanzo’s hands combing through the locks affectionately, one leg over his body pressing into him. Jesse lazily rolls his head to face his boyfriend and chuckles.
“If that didn’t make us a baby then I dunno what will.” Jesse jokes, taking Hanzo’s hand and bringing it to his lips. Hanzo blushes slightly, nuzzling against Jesse’s shoulder.
They decided that there was never going to be a good time for them to start a family, which meant any time was the time. After returning from Italy, they’d talked extensively about the logistics and concerns that may occur, which was an extensive list unfortunately. Jesse and Hanzo weren’t blinded to their situation and the complications that may arise, but it was a step they were both ready to take. If it was always going to be hard, then there was no point waiting.
Hanzo had to be careful, though. It would be hard, and more so for them compared to most couples, and that meant delicate attention to detail. Through all their love making - even if it was just as pleasurable an experience as it was a task - Hanzo was always beyond in love with his partner, covering him in soft kisses to protect him, and words to act as a shield to the world around them. Others might judge, opinions may be shared, but Hanzo was always going to have his better half’s back, through thick and thin.
There in their dorm room, Jesse smiles at him with such admiration, the jovial expression lights him up better than any glow will to come. His bare chest, mixed with sweat and muscle and scars alike, Hanzo can’t take his eyes away from the sculpted perfection. He draws his fingers down Jesse’s abdomen and softly strokes the soft skin. Jesse watches him, smirking, putting his hands behind his head.
“Take a look while you can, sugar, cause that there is about to blow up like a balloon.”
Hanzo raises a brow, flattening his hand on his flat stomach. “You are going to look amazing carrying our child, my love. I can not wait.”
“You aint gonna stray when I get fat, will ya?”
“How could you even think such a thing, of course not!”
“Just checking.” Jesse sighs, resting his head back on the pillow. The feather light touch of Hanzo’s hand, picking back up to run through the snail trail up his belly, he loves it. Such a intimate moment that can only be described with heart eyes and heavy breaths, Jesse drinks up the bliss. He never saw his life going the way it did, but he couldn’t ask for anything better.
He leans up and looks at the bedside table. His cigar sits lonesome on the side, whispering sweet nothings to tempt him, and Hanzo notices promptly. He sits up and puts his arms around Jesse, kissing his neck while he mourns a love he was about to give up.
“One more aint gonna do no harm, right?” Jesse asks, the question absent for anything other than his own dusted hope. Hanzo snickers, nuzzling against Jesse’s ear and nipping at the lobe.
“How about we switch positions for a round to take your mind of the cravings?”
Jesse’s eyes go wide and he pounces into position, rummaging around the bedside drawer to find the equipment necessary to please his more than devoted boyfriend. A family was on the way, but for the time being they can just seal the envelope of their cosy love, as privately and wildly as they deemed fitting.

How about Himari's first haircut? (I actually still have the piece of baby hair I had in my baby book. Did you know that in most Asian cultures they shave the baby's whole head to have it grow in more thick and then sew a piece onto a pillow for protection? The more you know~) Though in my opinion, I don't believe Hanzo would agree with cutting off all her baby locks.
“I aint too sure I’d trust a professional with a pair of scissors near her eyes, let alone you, Hana.” Jesse holds his two year old girl on his lap, bouncing her gently to keep her content. Hanzo had been resistant to letting anyone cut Himari’s hair until now, when she’d gotten in a habit of bumping into things and falling over. Toddlers were already wobbly on their feet, having a nest of hair falling in her eyes just wasn’t ideal. Jesse had convinced him she needed a trim, and Hana had jumped on the notion the second she found out.
She wiggles her finger in Himari’s face and laughs, not an inch of doubt for what a job well done she would do. “I use to cut the hair of the other Meka pilots when we lived together, I know what I’m doing.”
“But a baby don’t stay still, you know that, right?” He pulls back her hair and inspects the length. Yepp, just like all the women in his family, long, thick, and uncontrollable. Dark like Hanzo’s, though. “I’d trust you with my own noodle, but not too sure about my offspring.”
“Come on, Jesse, I would never do anything to hurt her! She’ll look cute, I promise.”
Jesse purses his lips and snickers. “Tell ya what, sweetpea. You convince Hanzo you’re the right gal for the job, and you’re more than welcome.”
Needless to say, Hana didn’t cut Himari’s hair, and Jesse nervously but also thankfully took her to a hairdressers instead.
