Okay so as someone whomst loves makeup can I just say.. the minimum requirement of makeup products is zero. ZERO. Makeup as a requirement is bullshit. No one “needs” any make up products, and the idea that a certain amount of makeup is necessary for women to be accepted (especially in the professional world) is shitty and sexist. However, if you have fun with makeup, if you enjoy it, if it makes you feel good - have at it. But don’t project that onto anyone else.

#for me it makeup is an art form #and a hobby #and a type of self care #when i feel shitty and i want to feel better i cover my face in shiny stuff #when i feel shitty and i want people to know not to fuck with me i cover my face in lots of dark makeup #and when i feel good and i want to express that i use makeup too #and if other people think it’s too much then it sucks to be them #it’s my face and i’ll decorate it how i want
