Moms you can call them with their colourful sarees and Jasmine in their hair. They have made us proud with their work and their pride of Indian culture and dressing too.Way to go ladies you represent the Durga and the Saraswatis of India.

Some interesting facts of MOM...The Mars Mission 1. INDIA  becomes the first country in the world to do so in its maiden attempt, leaving behind US, Europe and Russia. 2. INDIA becomes the only Asian country in the world so far to successfully accomplish this mission , not even China. 3. INDIA completes this mission in just 450 crores,  1/10th of the cost incurred by NASA for similar Misson 'Maven'.  4. It's less than the cost of many of the Hollywood movies. 5. This mission has been executed without any association with any foreign country. ..its completely indigenous. 6. The spacecraft has travelled more than 650 crore kilometres in around 300 days to complete this journey.

21 Vs 10,000

12th September 1897, 21 Soldiers of British Indian Army against 10,000 Afghans, place- a small signaling  Post in Saragarhi, now in North West Frontier Pakistan, result – one of the best battles of bravery to be  ever recorded in the history of mankind. The men of 36 Sikh under the command of Havildar Ishar Singh were defending at a small signaling  post in Saragarhi when an army of 10,000 Afghans attacked. After seven and half hours of fierce and  bloody battle, all the defending 21 soldiers were killed but not before killing more than 600 Afghans. All the 21 combatants were awarded Indian Order of Merit -an equivalent of Victoria cross by  Government of England.  Never before in history had equivalent of 21 Victoria cross been won in a single action .This battle not  only influenced India and UK but the whole world. The Battle of Saragarhi is one of the eight stories of collective bravery published by UNESCO – United  Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation. This is the stuff, Legends are made of. Salute to the Martyr’s of Saragarhi. But they certainly deserve a  better place in the Hearts and minds of fellow countrymen. When French Government can include this  story as a part of their curriculum why not we ????

Inderpal SIngh in Vicky Donor as Taya Ji.

In this Indian Drama / Romantic Comedy movie Taya Ji teaches people at the wedding a dance move, which he calls "Bulb Utaro Thalle Rakkho". This Dance move mimics the actions of a person who is changing light bulbs.

"Bulb Utaro Thalle Rakkho" translates to actions done by a person while he/she is unscrewing a light bulb from the bulb socket and bringing it down.
