So I decided to start blogging...

Hola bbs, 

I can’t believe I’m actually writing this, but I DECIDED TO START A BLOG! Ok sure -- I know the world doesn’t need more bloggers, but I really wanted to 1) share my opinions on EVERYTHING that’s important to me with anyone who might care, and 2) practice my damn writing skills! After 16 years of speaking english, it’s still hard sometimes!

For example, in the past few years, I’ve spent so much time solely writing in Spanish (S/O to my  BuzzFeed en Español days <3) that I feel like I’ve had a hard time adjusting to writing and speaking exclusively in english for my recent chapter in advertising. SO, I figured the best way to get better at writing is to actually start writing, LOL. 

So here we are! I hope my blog will be a place where I can share personal stories, experiences, or products that I’m trying out, so that I can connect with you about my experience as a latina in media (as well as discuss the ways I take care of my mental health -- because with all the current headlines, mental well-being is definitely something I need to prioritize in my life). Essentially, this blog will be about anything and everything I think is worth sharing (especially MEMES 🌚). 

I hope to post once each week, so if you see me slacking off, feel free to slide into my DMs with a virtual chancla and I will get my act together, I promise. 👡

I’m so excited to share with you my personal experience and all the materialistic things I’m throwing my money at <3. This is going to be so much fun.
