Walker 03.05 | Mum's the Word
One thing I really enjoy about Walker is that Liam's love life is written like any other straight character on the show. His sexuality doesn't define him. He just happens to have a boyfriend instead of a girlfriend and it's normal. He struggles the same Cordell and Geri struggle or Nicki & Trey struggled. Cordell gives him relationships advice. No one cares that he's gay. No one talks about it. And that is, to me, real representation.

something like a jolt hit thomas in the chest. he doubled over and stared at the floor. rat man called out a few more names, none that thomas knew- he barely heard them over the dizzying buzz that seemed to fill his ears and fog his mind. he was surprised by his own reaction, hadn’t realized newt meant to him until he heard the declaration.
