Artifact Guide (Sets)
Tumblr media
(See Artifact Guide (Stats) for the types of artifacts and what stats they can get)
Once again, Artifacts are an incredibly hard concept to grasp, but hopefully these explanations will make it a bit easier.
All Artifact sets have a bonus you can acquire by equipping 2 or 4 of the same set. Here is a list of 3/4-star and 4/5-star artifact sets and what bonuses they provide.
All of these artifacts can be farmed in domains.
I will not be including any of the Prayer circlets, as they are 1PC only and while they do each provide a certain Elemental resistance, it takes up a whole slot and I personally do not see the point in using them
If the artifact bonus is ridiculously long and complicated, I’ll put an explanation underneath the set.
If any of my math calculating the bonuses is wrong, PLEASE for the love of god TELL ME. I am SO BAD at math.

Why I Refuse to Build Keqing
Tumblr media
NOTE: MY FRIEND IS NOT ONE OF THE CREEPY XIAO STANS! WHEN I SAY THINGS LIKE “LOVE OF HER LIFE” OR “OBSESSED” THAT IS ME SHOWING MY AFFECTION THROUGH MAKING FUN OF HER! oh and if that’s not enough she yk actually uses his burst sooooo put some respect on her name
Some things to remember before I begin:
1. This is not me saying Keqing is a horrible character playstyle or kit-wise. I just hate her personality.
2. Both my friend and I have always found Keqing to be extremely unlikeable since the beginning.
3. Back when Genshin first started, Keqing was in a large majority of events and just kept coming back, which my friend found annoying from a storytelling aspect because there were other more interesting characters she wanted to know more about (like the adepti) but Keqing was constantly the main focus.
With that out of the way...
This is a tale that starts during Xiao’s first banner.
My friend who got me into Genshin has quite literally been there since the beginning, whereas I have only been around since June 2022 directly at the end of the 2.7 patch.
This friend absolutely loves Xiao. Triple crowned, farmed his artifacts, even got C6 Faruzan because she was his grouper! Everyone in my gaming group knows she has the best (and only) Xiao in the group.
She’s F2P, and she spent all her primo savings on Xiao’s first banner and lost her 50/50 to who else but Keqing. At this point, my friend did not completely despise her, but hated her enough to not use her. All was good and dandy until Xiao’s rerun.
Once again, my friend is F2P, and spent all her savings on Xiao’s rerun. I don’t remember who she used her guaranteed before that, but I do remember that she was on soft pity and was really banking on 50/50.
And, you guessed it, Keqing came home again.
My friend tried her best, but couldn’t get to hard pity fast enough and on the very last hour of the last day of Xiao’s rerun she spent $80 to finally get her first hubby.
Do I blame her? No, of course not. I did the same thing with Zhongli (i had guaranteed but he didn’t come home with my saved pulls and i was tired and needed a good shielder so i spent $50).
Now, you may be asking: op, if Keqing didn’t ruin your 50/50, why do you hate her so much?
Well, because my friend does. It’s a “rule” (not really a rule, more of a running joke) in my gamer group that if your friend hates a character, you have to hate that character, and my friend has Keqing on two accounts and at C5 on her main account and still refuses to build her.
So no. I will not build Keqing.
Also I have major beef with Keqing stans for calling Alhaitham “Dendro Keqing” back when his leaks first came out.
But yeah, I hate Keqing.
Also why did she get a banner with her skin but Diluc didn’t? Why don’t more people talk about that? Her skin isn’t even a 5-star skin! IT’S A FOUR STAR! DILUC’S IS A 5-STAR!

Artifact Guide (Stats)
Tumblr media
Artifacts are one of the most annoying things to understand in Genshin, so before we make any builds we have to try to get at least a general grasp of how they work.
This guide covers stat types. There are Flat and Percentage stats. Flat stats can not be changed no matter what, and Percentage stat changes based on the preexisting stat.
If you take a look at the Flowers you can get, you’ll notice the main stat is always a fixed amount of HP.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
This is known as a Flat stat. No matter what, it will always add 4,780 HP, or whatever the HP is on that flower.
We see the same with ATK on feathers.
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Now, Percentage stats are a bit different. Let’s use my Alhaitham’s Sands as an example.
Tumblr media
Instead of always adding 311 ATK like the feathers, this stat makes it so that 46.6% of whatever Alhaitham’s ATK is at the time is added to his current ATK. So if his ATK was 500, this artifact would add an additional 233 ATK because that is 46.6% of 500. If his ATK was 1,000, it would add 466 ATK because that is 46.6% of 1,000, whereas the feather would add 311 ATK no matter what the initial ATK stat was.
In summary, Flat stats always add the same thing, Percentage adds a portion of the stat. Some stats, like Elemental Mastery, are always flat while others like Elemental DMG Bonuses are always Percentages.
Below is a list of what stats can be Flat, Percentage, or both.
Percentage Only: Energy Recharge Physical DMG Bonus CRIT Rate CRIT DMG Healing Bonus All Elemental DMG Bonuses
Flat Only: Elemental Mastery
Flat and Percentage: DEF ATK HP
You also can not get the same sub and main stat. Going back to Alhaitham, since his Sands is ATK Percentage, it cannot gain an ATK Percentage substat. However, you can have a Flat main and a Percentage sub of the same stat, as seen with Alhaitham’s flower.
Now for what pieces can have what main stats. I included what stats can and cannot have Flat and Percentage.
Sands: Energy Recharge (always %) ATK % Flat ATK DEF % Flat DEF HP % Flat HP Elemental Mastery (always flat)
Goblet: All Elemental DMG Bonuses (always %) Physical DMG Bonus (always %) ATK % DEF % HP % Elemental Mastery (always flat)
Circlet: CRIT Rate (always %) CRIT DMG (always %) Healing Bonus (always %) Elemental Mastery (always flat) ATK % DEF %
Any stat except for a select few can be substats. Stats that can't be subs are as follows; Physical DMG Bonus Elemental DMG Bonus Healing Bonus.
The next guide will be on Artifact Sets.

My name is Odessa, it is a pleasure to meet you! This is my own little information corner, and you are welcome to come and go as you please. However, there are some basic rules and regulations that come with the territory.
1. I will not tolerate bullying of any kind. This includes but is not limited to; threats, making fun of builds, picking on people that have seemingly stupid questions, and any other form of negative talk that comes into my space. Anon will not protect you. I know my way around my little hellsite and I will find you and report you. This is the one rule you must follow. This is a safe space for Genshin players who get confused, lost, or just need a little help, and I will not have that compromised by an elitist discord mod who thinks they’re hot shit.
2. There is no such thing as a stupid question! Whether it be about artifacts, talents, or general world exploration, just hit me with ‘em! We all have to start somewhere, and whether you’re AR 20 or 60, sometimes you just need some help.
3. I do not like the META. I believe that for the most part it is a toxic community that pushes damage over having fun and I personally do not wish to waste my time farming for stuff to go with the META. If you are into META, that’s fine, but I must ask you to not comment on builds saying the build isn’t META, but if it is to offer constructive criticism I welcome you with open arms. As such, none of my builds are for the META, they are just for fun. Keep that in mind when looking at the builds.
4. I will not be recommending anything having to do with CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG. It’s not like I necessarily dislike those stats or what they do, I just don’t feel comfortable with the idea of having to rely on CRIT hits when I’m trying not to die to Raiden’s weekly boss, you feel me? I enjoy consistency, and unless you have over 100% CRIT Rate (which you have to be really lucky on artifact rolls to get and is overall extremely difficult to attain) CRIT hits aren’t consistent.
5. Overall, have a good time. These builds are only recommended. If you have a build that works for you, keep using it. Don’t change it because I said so.
Rules for the askbox
1. I will say it again: No bullying of any kind is tolerated. There is a difference between banter and straight up insults. I welcome you to banter, but remember to keep it respectful.
2. I will do any character any way as long as it makes sense. That means no Hydro Itto, no Geo Archon Xiao, nothing like that. I also will never do any builds for Keqing on principal.
3. I am all for building supports as a DPS. Go wild.
4. I will also do team comps with individual builds! For example, you want a team with Alhaitham, Yao Yao, Xinqiu, and Yanfei, I’ll make them each a build and even detail how they work with each other. Even if the team doesn’t work I’ll try my best.
5. I always source my sites and references! They will all be linked at the bottom of each post.
6. I will also answer questions about exploration, puzzles, and even lore. Nothing is off the table! (WARNING: Be careful when asking about the lore. I will never shut up about it)
