His mother was always so kind, he just wished she could take a break on an occasion. She was always working so hard. Despite his usual failed attempts to get her to put down the broom and let him finished, he found it relaxing to just assist her. It would ease his mind knowing she wasn’t working to breaking point.

It was one of those days he was helping her with dishes did Flora let those words spill to her son. A smile eased upon Dwyer’s features.

“So have I. I’m glad we can spend this time together.”

Her son was her world and the one thing that was always a constant. She had always loved kids even if she never thought that she might have any. However here he was with her own flesh and blood who so kindly started to assist instead of insisting she rest. 

Flora knew that children still had chances at making something for themselves and having good times. 

“I couldn’t agree more, though you shouldn’t worry about me so much. I promise I can handle anything.”

How quaint. If not for the perpetual curtain of darkness that swallowed Nohr explicitly whole, the smile he takes dubious aim with almost seems inviting.

“Pardon me for making sure you did not need aid.” Apparently the well known flirt also enjoyed gazing at the moon. “It is quite easy on the eyes, the moon.” She comments quietly and considers whether or not to hang and talk or go back inside to let them know Zero hadn’t gotten lost or worse. 

“Do you gaze at it often?” With only one eye she wondered if it appeared closer or farther?

“Ah, no- unfortunately I lack your talents, Flora.” Aila laughed nervously- though she’d done her best to make good enough tea, it was nowhere near her vassal’s best. And she’d gone out and bought the cookies. At least this way they’d be edible, and she didn’t want to upset Flora by giving her something that didn’t taste good.

“I was hoping perhaps that I could spend some time with you- you’ve worked quite hard, you know, and today is a day to share kindness… Perhaps this is overdue, but… I wanted to give you some time to relax.”

“This is... really nice milady, thank you for doing this.” Taking a seat opposite of her she gave a content smile. Even though the other had not made them herself it was still quite an honor for someone to treat her with things like this. 

“I suppose that if it is what you wish then I wouldn’t mind spending the day relaxing won’t be bad.” In all honesty Flora hadn’t expected any free time but it was okay by her so that she had work to think of instead of her tribe.

Flora was gentle and kept the chill in her skin control as she gave a sigh. She wasn’t much of a comforter or sugarcoater. She did believe that Kamui could do it if she tried.
