One last party, and then back to the stars. Commander Mako Shepard's journey comes to an end. Topped off with a beautiful new title screen featuring a pristine Earth, free from debris and the Reaper Threat.

Also featuring a comparison of Mako's memorial wall on the Normandy at the start of the game versus the wall just before Priority: Earth.

This was such a fun time. I haven't done a trilogy playthrough of Mass Effect in what must have been half a decade; certainly not since I finished college. The shiny legendary edition coupled with all the mods from an incredibly talented community made it really worth the time invested.

Now what the hell do I play next?

Mako hanging out with buds on the Citadel after defeating the clone Shepard, holding a service for Thane, and getting a tattoo from Jack. Very sweet scene, wish her romance had more scenes and substance. Still, very fun contrast to Mako's character.

Mako Shepard reunited with her crew after the defeat of the reapers, especially her favorite krogan, Wrex!

Trekking through the Citadel archives and battling Mako's clone. Fun stuff, always love playing the Citadel DLC.

With the Reapers taken care of, peace finally returns, and thanks to both the amazing Happy Ending Mod and the Citadel Epilogue mod, we see Mako Shepard survive alongside her crew.

Years later, she visits an apartment bequeathed to her by the departed Admiral Anderson...

Priority: Earth with Commander Mako Shepard.

The Illusive Man is stopped, the Crucible deployed, the Reapers destroyed, and peace finally returns to the galaxy.

The assault on Cronos Station, enhanced with the delightful Reworked Kai Leng mod that makes the dude shut the hell up. Incredible how much better the character is when his lines are removed!

Although Garrus and Tali weren't Mako's main team in any of the trilogy, they are above and beyond my favorite duo in the series, and it's always nice to see them get together before Priority: Earth. Love those two!

Mako's ME3 campaign is heavily modded, but one of the most impactful of them all is definitely Dreams Remade.

I'm pretty forgiving of the original ME3 and its plot, but I have always despised the original dream sequences as absolutely massive missed opportunities. This puts them back on track, making them much more potent and emotional moments in the story, and reflects who Shepard has lost and possibly still can lose.

Also here is the assault on Horizon, in which Miranda Lawson was lost. Part of roleplaying games that I've played a ton that I love a lot is going back and making sub-optimal choices that reflect the character I'm playing. The staunch Alliance loyalist Mako refused to share Alliance secrets with Miranda without an explanation, and Miranda didn't survive as a result.

Mako leading the charge during the liberation of Rannoch! Because Legion perished from the risky suicide mission mod (highly recommend), peace between the Quarians and Geth could not be achieved; Mako chose the Quarians, concluding her long battle with the synthetics.

Stopped in at the Quarian/Geth war to pick up Tali, then made a quick detour to help Aria retake Omega. Including an amazing walkable Omega Hub mod that pairs up real nicely with the Spectre expansion mod.

Modders are so insanely talented. The good folks behind the LE3 Diversification Project have managed to change up Kasumi's little walk-around mission into a fully instanced mission that involves going underwater at the Hanar Embassy. Super fun after playing through these games a dozen times over.

Some post-coup stuff here, losing Thane, hanging with Jack at Purgatory, and getting Mako's XO, Ashley, back on board the Normandy. Also Conrad Verner is there!

I just spent like the last two weeks with Mako's big modded ME3 campaign. Beat the whole thing over about 60 hours, and forgot to post any screenshots until it was all done! So a few salvos coming up.

Curing the genophage and helping the krogan out, with some losses. Mako didn't save Maelon's data, and thus Eve was lost, but she was able to repair her friendship with Wrex after the fact.

Starting Mass Effect 3 with Mako, some shots from the early game. I forgot just how insanely fun this game was to play. I've yet to play another TPS that is as smooth and snappy.

Had to tweak her face a bit, but she's looking good despite ME3's weird handling of the faces. Reuniting with Jack was very sweet.

Also included is her memorial wall at the start of the game, to be updated at the end of this run. Because I used the Risky Suicide Mission mod, the suicide mission was much less of a perfectly solved game; Mako lost Samara, Legion, Grunt, and Zaeed in the Collector base.
