Luca Vinci, known as Pasta Pooks (formerly of Mano Cornuto and Impasto), Victor Petrenko, nicknamed Coach Vic (Double’s), Martin Pariseau (previously at Menu Extra), Kai Fox, and “Big Sexy” have opened a counter in Little Italy. No, this isn’t a new boy band arriving in town, but rather a group of passionate friends launching a spot for delicious pasta and generous sandwiches.

This team of popular young restaurateurs is taking over the iconic Dinette Triple Crown location, which has charmed many Montrealers over the years. This legendary spot has been revived and will evolve in several phases as part of the Pasta Pooks project. “We see this project like an old Japanese car we just bought. We’ll add parts and make repairs over time, whenever we have a bit of money.”
