okay itâs come to my attention that absolutely NONE OF YOU know ANYTHING about how cutie marks work. let me say this simply. a cutie mark isnât a job being assigned, itâs a special TALENT OR SKILL that the pony enjoys. Most of the time it has a directly transferable job for that skill, like if you enjoy baking and are super good at it WOW! baker. If you are really good at writing and telling stories, author. However, there are some cutie marks that could go multiple ways.
twilight sparkle has exceptional magic ability, so she became a scholar, but she could really do anything that required a good magic skill. same with rainbow dash, her weather controlling job isnât directly linked to her cutie mark, but it does fit the bill for the job.
i was posed the question of what would a murderer ponyâs cutie mark be and wouldnât everyone know. NO. if somehow murder were to be a special skill, the cutie mark might be something like a knife or a shovel. other ponies might just assume youâre good a cooking or gardening. now with cutie marks like apple jacks, their family has a âgreen thumbâ kind of deal so obviously the cutie mark would be hereditary.
so, the reason i made this post. walter white ponyâs cutie mark would NOT be blue crystals. it would be a CHEMISTRY FLASK.

it's awesome to want to be fatter and get off on it btw. it's awesome to be a pervert about it.
people are perverted as hell about muscular and skinny bodies in public and it's barely considered taboo. straight-sized people pursue their body type explicitly to be seen as sexy, get laid, to feel good in their skin. even by means that are considered risky to your health -- weight loss meds like oz*mpic, diets and fasting, steroids, to name just a few -- if it's in the pursuit of normalized "skinniness" it's within bounds regardless of stated intent. all these methods and reasons are casually accepted without question in our society because they fall into a certain mold.
but as soon as you decide for yourself what's sexy and it falls outside a norm, as soon as you choose to proudly gain weight because you enjoy it, the double standard becomes apparent. suddenly, it's taboo.
reactionaries will justify their disgust reaction by any means, pretending to care about your health all of the sudden as if you don't have the agency to make calculated risks like every other person on this planet. it's dehumanizing and polices the bodies of others.
the decision to include feedism within the definition of "disordered eating" is not only ignorant, it's spineless, hypocritical, unfair, and it's rooted in vile prejudices that don't align with the projected message of this site. if staff have any integrity they'll change it back, though I don't believe they will.
forgive me if this is a bit meandering and i've reblogged quite a few posts about this already, but i had to put in my thoughts. gaining and feedism will never be contained by one website or space. as someone who grew up in neglect and isolation being queer in a right-wing household, it may have saved my life to know there were others out there like me and many at that.
oh and let me make sure i say as well -- health is not a determination of someone's worth or morality

really enjoying calling chatgpt a 'magic 8ball' because while far from a perfect analogy i feel like it is a very good deflationary weapon against both hype and antihype that helps bring things into perspective by detaching the actual thign from the cultural object it's attached to. "this magic 8ball is going to become sentient" i dont think thats true. "if you talk to a magic 8ball it will kill your soul" that one doesnt sound true also to be honest

You are offered $1000 if you can perfectly sing a random, popular karaoke song - it doesn't matter if you sound good, you just have to get all the words right, but no cheating! lyrics are not provided. spin the wheel and determine your fate...

i wish there was a way to talk about the tiredness/wearing down that comes from disability. i don't mean fatigue in the usual physical sense. i mean like the way that you kinda always have to be on the clock when you're disabled. like every day involves managing and micromanaging aspects of your health. tracking symptoms, taking meds, getting up, getting food, getting washed. like it doesn't become easier. people say that when something becomes a habit it happens automatically and becomes easier to do because you don't have to actively choose to start and carry out that task everyday. there's no proper downtime when you're disabled because even if you have to do something daily, nothing we do ever becomes easy. every task feels like it's being done for the first time again. it always takes mental, physical, amd emotional energy. to do everything. every day. not only disability related tasks, but any single task that even abled people have to do. and it kinda wears you down. makes you tired. in a long term way that never really stops, because if you stop doing the things that are exhausting you'll just die because every single aspect of living is exhausting
#THANK YOUUUUUUUU#I'm resting right now! But the resting is my job! I'm resting because it's my job!#The resting is the work! The resting is the fucking work!!!!!!!!
