The name's Serendipity. Yeah, it sounds pretty girly, I hate it too, but I'm an accident and according to my parents, I'm their happy accident. How cliche. And because of the stupid laws of the universe I belong in, the name stays with me. Yup, I'm from an alternate universe. You won't believe how much one bite from an apple can take to change the future. I come from the universe where Adam and Eve never listened to Satan and kept their damn dignity. We live in harmony with angels. Our technology is pretty damn advanced. There's even magic. I'd say our world is damn perfect. I don't like it. My parents are assistants to the archangel Michael so we get lots of news about what's going on upstairs. From what I gather from the bits and pieces of information I get from my parents, it ain't anything pretty. Adam and Eve may have been able to avoid the Tree of Knowledge but that doesn't mean that Lucifer wasn't cast out. I take it that the Devil is planning his comeback considering the Rift to the other world is open right now. There's a war brewing and that means I get to break the rules and ruin the peace of our world. The Archangel Michael often sends me and his little brother/my best friend Gabriel to your world. We hunt down key demons and other monsters that'll stall Lucifer's rise, maybe even stop it altogether if Gabe and I work fast enough. (Independent OC roleplay blog, can be seen as an alternative Supernatural world, open to any fandom, OC-friendly, and multi-shipper)

hOLY FUCKING SHIT, I RETURN.
Sorry for the inactivity, school's been a bitch lately also I'm moving so there's been a lot of activity that took away all my time from Tumblr. Well, I lurk occasionally but I'm usually on mobile or can't get on long enough for replies. Anyways, I'll be on a great deal myself now as of late although I'm not sure about my friends just yet.
I finished all my required tests and work samples but they haven't yet so it'll be a bit before we bring back the Eve thread.
If you wish to pick up a thread or plot on, just chuck a starter or message at me and I'll be happy to reply! It'll take me a bit to regain my muse but Serendipity is back.

Serendipity had managed to glance through Michael's mind, process some information that he had stored there before the archangel kicked him out and told him to join the mass of servants going to Heaven.
So. The Rift had opened once more.
The Artifex Vitae didn't know why it caused so much panic but if it was frightening even Michael, then it must be quite the big deal.
Thus, Serendipity found himself trudging through the Golden City. The streets--although full--were awfully quiet as a stream of the Angels' servants made their way to the centre of the city where the Accessible Heaven was.
Serendipity paused by the Cassiel Memorial, gazing up at the floating isle, a brief look of annoyance passing over his smooth features but disappeared just as quickly as it came.
"Hey, keep moving," Magus grumbled darkly as he pushed by his little brother, flicking a silver chain at the offering fire surrounding the memorial. "Anael says Michael needs you upstairs ASAP."
"I'm goin', I'm goin'," Serendipity muttered before turning towards the memorial, looking at the empty, gold face of Cassiel. "Got any advice, Cassie?" He patted the base of the statue, the hollow high C note ringing dully in the air. "Your brothers are friggin' ridiculous." He rolled his eyes, he was talking to a freakin' statue; he shrugged and jumped back into the stream of servants ascending the golden glass stairs.
Once he reached the top. he came upon a garden. The Garden of Eden. Lower-ranking Angels and servants were clustered about speaking in hushed whispers.
Well, that's a bit unnerving, Serendipity thought as he made his way across the Garden. The Garden--as usual--had a peaceful feeling as the Artifex passed by groves, rivers, and meadows. He was nearing the Throne room when a soft hum came from the left.
"Oh, hello there," Serendipity murmured under his breath as he detoured to the Tree of Knowledge. The Tree was merely twelve feet in height with white smooth, glowing bark, silver leaves that sang when they brushed together, and a single Apple of Eden. It was the gold of golds with Ancient etched on the surface, pulsing a soft golden glow.
Serendipity reached up, curling his hands around the Apple, feeling warmth and the tiniest bit of euphoria encasing him, bringing a gently smile as he relished the glow, pulling the branch down, read to pluck the Fruit, ready to have his teeth sink into the symbols, ready to create--
--Sin.
He frowned darkly at the beautiful Fruit in his lightly-tanned hands, releasing it and watching as it whipped back into the Tree, branches clattering and the leaves clashed together in a harsh melody.
Glaring at the Apple, he turned away, ready to storm away but froze when he felt something brush his cheek and flutter to the ground. A black leaf. There weren't any dark-coloured trees in the Garden. Confused, Serendipity crouched slight to pick up the dark leaf, inspecting it carefully; narrowing his eyes in disbelief, he snatched a silver leaf--he'd regret it later probably--and brushed it against the black leaf. A shrill note screeched through the still air, causing Serendipity to drop the leaves as he clamped his hands over his ears, palms digging into the side of his head furiously as the leaves floated gently to the undisturbed grass, notes shrieking twice more before falling silent.
He felt floods of concern from Michael and Gabriel as he squeezed his eyes shut to ignore the ringing in his ears.
The Tree. Something's happening...

Serendipity did what Gabriel asked of him. He went to the services with Raretir. He paid his respects to Cassiel. Hell, he even got Gabriel some ice cream.
All the Artifex Vitae wanted was to sleep. He needed his two hours if he was going to guard the Rift for the next few months.
Yes, Cassiel was precious to him as if he were his own Angel but he didn't want to think about it.
Didn't they know that memorial services like that didn't settle the memories.
It brought them...
...back.
And that was what the Angels didn't want to do. Their Father damn it.
Serendipity sighed, letting himself submerge into the state of unconsciousness, actually welcoming it for once.
He wasn't prepared for the waves of panic and pain to crash at his mental barrier. At first, he thought it was Gabriel just crying, actually letting out the tears for once and weakened the barriers just slightly.
What he didn't expect was the same feelings to come from Michael.
It tore down his mental barriers and attacked his mind, making him clutch his head in pain and curl into a fetal position. He hated it when Michael did that...he barely even caught the brief message that Michael and Gabe sent his way.
Immediately, the Artifex Vitae was up, buckling the Eve sword and sawed-off around his waist as he exited his room.
He eyed the others who were doing the same: Mam, Da, brothers, sisters, cousins...Something was going on with Angels tonight.
Gabe, mind takin' a breather an' tellin' m' wha's happenin'?

Eve -- Warrior Rising
Cassiel. Gabriel stared up at the Cassiel Memorial that stood in the center of the Golden City (more well-known as the Gateway to Heaven), wings folded neatly behind his back. It was the anniversary of sweet little Cassiel’s passing and it hurt so much.
Gabriel hadn’t participated in the offerings and memorial services held around Eve. He waited until even Serendipity had gone to sleep before climbing down from Heaven, for once enjoying the silence that never accompanied his home nor his personal Heaven.
“Um…I suppose I should say I’m sorry, Cassie…” Gabriel began, shifting in place, feeling awkward to talk to a statue. “I shouldn’t had let you go scout ahead…I guess I’m the reason why you’re dead…” He snorted, there was no need to guess, he was the reason.
He was such a stupid garrison leader but no one in Eve could Sin.
Why did you let me do that, Dad? Gabriel shook his head as he turned away to go back home. Not like Dad was going to answer, He didn’t talk to any of His children during Cassiel’s day.

—
Flying swiftly back to Heaven, Gabriel buried himself deep in his personal Heaven, trying to block out the many noises of a never-sleeping family, contemplating that day.
I’m so sorry, Cassiel, I’m so sor— The Archangel paused mid-thought when he felt something pull painfully at his Grace, making him claw at his chest. Was he having a panic attack? No. It was in his Grace.
Grace.
The Rift had reopened once more.
#I actually thought we wouldn't be able to pull this off omfg#webelongtoeve#evesgreatestarchangel#eveshealer#idiedforeve

Serendipity narrowed his eyes at the mention of psychics. It's not like he faced worse...but--psychics. Huh. They were a bunch of kids. Friggin' mundanes.
"Well, ya mus' be an interestin' group o' mundanes then," Serendipity remarked casually as he lowered the sawed-off slightly. "No' in Earth anymore, kiddos, ya in an alternate universe o' it called Eve. Yeah, there're Angels 'ere an' they don' take too kindly to mundanes fro' the Sinner world. I believe i's the Archangel Raphael tha's gon' come down 'ere an' execute ya bu' ya can always try an' run." He shrugged.
"Bu' 'ere in Eve, we live in harmony with the Angels an' sappy shit so ya kinda screwed."
He could always hide them in his home...none of the Angels dare enter the assistants' homes. Well, of course, unless they were Gabriel.
thepsychkids have stepped through the Rift.
Serendipity had been sitting on the boulder that stood a few feet from the Rift, sharpening his Eve sword, when he heard the irritating slight screech of the Rift being used from the other side again.
Irritated enough as it was already the past few days with the mundanes that have come by, he switched the Eve sword into one hand as he grabbed his sawed-off, aiming it in the direction of whoever stepped through, firing a warning shot at their feet to stay where they were.
“Who are ya, why are ya ‘ere, where are ya from, an’ how’d ya fin’ the Rift?” He asked as he eyed the beings that stood in the now dead Rift. “‘urry up ‘fore the Angel get ‘ere an’ smite ya.”
