one of my absolute favorite bands
combatwoundedveteran was a grindcore/powerviolence band from Tampa, Florida from the years 1996 - 2003. In their 7 years of existence they made several spilts with other screamo bands ( one of which was Orchid, most notably ) and became very well known in the underground powerviolence and screamo scene. They released their only studio album named “I Know a Girl Who Develops Crime Scene Photos” in 1999, an EP entitled “Duck Down for the Torso”, and a year after they broke up in 2004, they posthumously released a compilation album containing all of the songs from their various splits, called “This Is Not an Erect, All Red Neon Body”.
Many of the band members are still around today and one of them even have an instagram acc (@combatisdead) go check em out!!

"In 1998 I saw Godspeed You! Black Emperor in a tiny room above a Mexican restaurant in Manchester in what I believe was their first ever show outside of the US and Canada. Here are some photos I took."
